You will provide intensive support to adults with complex needs who are further away from employment or training by using a strength based approach, ensuring those accessing the programme receive appropriate practical and emotional support by visiting them at home or in the community.

The LifeSkills programme supports individuals and families to build their confidence, social networks, financial and employability skills. The LifeSkills Support Worker will work closely with the linked LifeSkills programme, entitled LifeSkills Open.

Main Responsibilities:

· Deliver a range of support and interventions to individuals with complex needs that focus on their strengths and which enable them to consider options and think differently, helping them to feel more empowered and able to face new challenges

· Support and deliver activities that increase confidence, improve mental health, widen social networks, help with budgeting and enable individuals to seek training, work or volunteering opportunities.

· Experience of working in services that deliver positive outcomes for individuals and their families

The Role
We are looking for a Community & Events Fundraiser to play a pivotal role in maximising event and supporter-led fundraising income. 
 
You will develop and deliver growth strategies within your area of responsibility (across mass-participation events, virtual events & supporter-led fundraising) with support from the Head of Community and Events. You will also build great internal relationships with colleagues to enable delivery of the community & events programme.

You will be responsible for: 

• Leading the development of evidence-based policy positions to improve access, quality, and sustainability of palliative and end-of-life care.
• Analysing complex policy developments, identifying opportunities to influence at national and local levels.
• Building and managing strategic relationships with policymakers, sector leaders, and other key stakeholders.
• Acting as a spokesperson for Marie Curie, representing the charity in the media, at conferences, and in political forums.

The Senior Policy and Public Affairs Manager will play a key role in positioning Action for pulmonary Fibrosis as the leading voice in improving PF care. The postholder will take a leadership role within the Policy and Public Affairs team, providing strategic direction on our key policy priorities. This integral role will provide essential short-term support across major donor stewardship and the delivery of high-profile fundraising events. The postholder will help maintain strong relationships with major supporters, ensure timely and personalised communication, and support the planning and delivery of two flagship events, along with other key fundraising activities.

Candidates will need proven experience in charity fundraising, preferably with major donors and high-value events, alongside strong communication, organisational and relationship-building skills. They must be confident working both independently and within a busy team, able to prioritise effectively, and comfortable managing multiple tasks at pace.

This newly created role within St Luke's is supported by a generous grant from the Henry Smith Foundation to develop our wellbeing programmes over the next three years. The Associate Director will engage with dioceses and individual clergy as they explore and embed our wellbeing programmes. 

The post holder will represent St Luke's and our Christian ethos within senior diocesan teams and help shape and deliver our strategic vision for flourishing clergy. This role will support the advancing clergy reflection programme and support dioceses, other networks and communities and Theological Educational Institutions in establishing wellbeing practices.

The role is home based with travel around the UK as required. There will be a requirement to be in London at least once a month for team meetings. 

This role carries an occupational requirement for the postholder to be a practicing Christian, in accordance with Schedule 9, Part 1 of the Equality Act 2010. The role involves representing and upholding the Christian ethos of St Luke’s in both internal leadership and external engagement.

The Innovation team works across a variety of exciting activity, including contributing to the delivery of the multi-million pound Longitude Prize on dementia and leading Alzheimer’s Society Launchpad and Accelerator Programmes, designed to boost new dementia products and innovations to market, delivering help and hope to people living with dementia.

In the role of Innovation Portfolio Advisor you will support the Innovation Impact Investment Manager with the ongoing management and development of our innovation product portfolio. You will cultivate and maintain relationships with current and former Accelerator partners, reviewing business plans, supporting with negotiations and exploring mechanisms for a return on investment, developing and monitoring collaboration agreements whilst tracking the impact of our investments. You will support with product development, helping identify routes for commercialisation and scale in order to maximise and monitor the impact of the most exciting new products for people living with dementia.

You will work alongside a team of Senior Innovators, each of whom will be accountable for their respective programmes of work.

About you

We are looking for a creative, passionate and solution-driven individual to support the management of our innovation product portfolio with ambition and experience of accelerating products to market for maximum impact and benefit to people affected by dementia.

Ideally you will:

- Be confident in communicating, influencing, negotiating and managing internal and external stakeholders.

Job overview

Remuneration: day rate £250-350 for 8 hours depending on experience, anticipated 4-5 days per month.

Reporting to: Chair of Trustees, on a day-to-day basis through the Head of Partnership Development who is based in Dhaka, Bangladesh.

Role description

The Fundraising/Partnership Development Officer will

· Manage the development and implementation of Friendship’s fundraising, partnership development, and partnership management activities in the UK

· Build a fundraising strategy that incorporates a range of activities and income streams, together with the Friendship International UK Board

· Develop a concrete action plan and core indicators or targets for fundraising in the UK on quarterly basis, which is to be presented to the Friendship International UK Board.

· Foster relationships with supporters, groups and organisations that fund or have the potential to fund Friendship International UK and be the first point of contact,

· Update the UK section of Friendship’s website with information related to fundraising and other information

· Manage social media platforms with information relating to fundraising activity

· Contribute to the work of the Friendship International UK Board, reporting to the Board and attending meetings as needed

· Maintain coordination with Friendship in Bangladesh for the development and finalization of documents, budgets, reports, etc. for submitting to existing and potential donors and partners.

Person specification

Essential

· Have good experience working with CSR funds, grant-making trusts, institutional funders based in the UK, and foundations and high net worth individuals.

· Demonstrate initiative and positive ROI in generating funds.

· Be able to follow up fundraising opportunities independently.

· Be able to follow up, finalize, and submit donor required narrative and financial reports, in close collaboration with the team in Bangladesh.

· Be friendly and personable and able to build strong working relationships with a range of people, including the team in Bangladesh.

· Be reliable, organised and efficient, capable of multi-tasking and reacting to changing priorities.

· Have good communication and writing skills.

· Be located within commuting distance of the City of London; willing and able to travel for occasional meetings and events.
