About the organisation
nia has been delivering services to women, girls and children who have been subjected to sexual and domestic violence and abuse, including prostitution, since 1975. The organisation has three main aims: to provide services for women, girls and children who have experienced men’s violence; contributing to ending male violence against women and girls, and to inform and influence policy and public awareness.
nia is a professionally approved member of Rape Crisis England and Wales; an umbrella organisation supporting Rape Crisis Centres across the country. Rape Crisis is completely independent of the government and the criminal justice system.
East London Rape Crisis provides free, confidential specialist support for women and girls who have been raped or experienced any other form of sexual violence or abuse at any time in their lives, regardless of whether or not they have reported to the police. We offer confidential and independent support. Services include advocacy, emotional and practical support, one-to-one counselling and group work. The service is provided across Barking & Dagenham, Hackney, Havering, Redbridge, Newham, Tower Hamlets and Waltham Forest.
We form part of the London Sexual Violence Alliance. The Alliance brings together 225 years of expertise and experience and represents a bold, visionary and survivor-centred resource. The Alliance consists of eight members. Seven are organisations that have historically, and or currently, provide support for victims/survivors. MOPAC is the eighth member, primarily sitting at the oversight and leadership governance level.
Note: each organisation continues to be an independent charity, so the Alliance is not a legal entity.
About the role
In the role of Sexual Violence Navigator, you will provide the first response which supports survivors to make informed decisions about the next steps on their recovery journey. Navigators work within a trauma-informed approach, which centres survivor’s holistic needs, recognises strengths and survival strategies and responds to crisis.
You will work as part of a growing feminist Rape Crisis service that is developing to meet the needs of women and girls. You will be joining the organisation at an exciting period of change and collaboration amongst providers of the London Sexual Violence Alliance.
Location:Hybrid model of office and homeworking. Current office locations are Islington or Dagenham Heathway. This post will also alternate one day per week between Alliance partner organisations offices based in Hackney and City of London.

What you will do:
The Investment Partnerships and Advisory manager will be responsible for day-to-day activities in relation to engaging with investors, business development and advisory project delivery work.
- Relationship management: nurturing new and ongoing relationships with investors and other key partners in the social investment ecosystem, including developing Advisory opportunities.
- Delivering advisory projects: delivering quality advice to clients, supporting them to progress on their impact investment activities. Projects may include landscape analysis, strategy development and/or the design of innovative investment solutions.
- Supporting the development of new market solutions: Helping develop creative and innovative solutions to social issues where social impact investment can be an important part of the solution.
- Market analysis: Undertaking detailed analysis of the market, prospective investors, and the financial, social impact and systems change cases of investment opportunities
- Stakeholder engagement: facilitating BSC’s participation in workshops, networking events, and other investor initiatives that help unlock more capital for impact.
- Content creation: originating and owning high quality, effective presentations, reports and pitch decks to showcase the value of social investment and present insights to investors.

Our passionate Regional Casework Coordinators are SSAFA’s front line of support for members of the armed forces community in need. They are the first point of contact for all beneficiaries into the Regional office, assessing needs and allocating the case to one of our volunteer caseworkers.
You will sometimes handle complex problems from individuals who may be distressed, identifying the presenting and potential underlining needs to determine the best way to support the beneficiary. You will have ownership of cases from beginning to end, coordinating the casework process in a timely manner and ensure that the beneficiary journey is at the centre of the Service. You will have the opportunity to shape processes and procedures within the office which will lead to improvements in the service offered to clients.
To help you establish yourself in this new post you will receive excellent training and induction to SSAFA.
Whilst the post is homebased, to be eligible for this role you are required to live in the East Midlands region, which includes: Derbyshire Leicestershire Lincolnshire Northamptonshire Nottinghamshire Rutland
There will be occasional travel around the East Midlands Region and you may be required to travel at short notice for face to face meetings.
About the team
The team work remotely and pride themselves in maintaining a close working bond which ensures the smooth operation of the office. You will work closely with volunteers, supporting them to administer casework for SSAFA beneficiaries. The wider support team includes a Casework Manager and a Regional Operations Support Manager.
About you
To carry out this role successfully you will have a track record of providing welfare advice in key areas such as, housing benefits, debt, disability, mobility or immigration issues. You will have knowledge of safeguarding and GDPR and experience in dealing with sensitive information and people in vulnerable situations. You will be able to provide excellent customer service by telephone, e-mail and face to face. You will have used Microsoft Office 365 to a high standard. It is important that you have experience of planning and managing your own workload, with minimal supervision.
It would be advantageous if you have an understanding of the way of life for today’s Armed Forces, veterans and their families and if you have experience of recruiting and supporting volunteers. An understanding of the voluntary sector and preferably the military charity sector landscape across the East Midlands would be valuable.

The primary aim of this role is to help Money and Mental Health secure the income it needs to deliver its mission and further strengthen the charity’s financial footing for the future. This is a crucial role in our new Fundraising team, and the successful candidate will work across all elements of our income generation activities - from grant-writing to donor stewardship and pipeline development.
The role will have a particular focus on securing funding from Trusts and Foundations, but there will also be ample opportunities to engage corporate partners and other prospective funders.
The successful candidates will have the chance to bring their ideas in terms of identifying new routes to funding for the organisation and shaping our income generation activities.
Key responsibilities:
Funding bids and proposals

Draft and develop effective and impactful fundraising bids and proposals to secure both grant income and corporate sponsorship

Project manage the process of developing funding proposals - including completing funding checklists, coordinating the team on relevant deadlines and booking in time for sign off from relevant colleagues.
Relationship management

Play a key role in donor stewardship alongside Head of Fundraising and Senior Leadership Team (SLT), including grant makers, corporates and individual donors

Support SLT in identifying - and building relationships with - relevant individuals within prospective funder organisations - including coordinating meetings.

Ensure we stay on top of our grant requirements, including drafting grant reports and coordinating other team members to fulfil those requirements

Pipeline development

Essential qualities

A proven track record of securing five-figure grants or income from trusts, foundations and/or corporate partners.
