Oak provides school teachers and pupils with the highest-quality curriculum and lesson resources across all subjects and age groups.

In this role, you will join our engineering team to lead delivery across our product squads and platform teams. You will keep priorities clear, dependencies visible, and work flowing, so teams can deliver in step with each other and with Oak's wider goals. You'll work closely with engineering, product, and platform colleagues, and you'll play a key role in shaping how Oak plans and delivers as we grow.

Our engineers work in cross-functional product squads alongside designers, researchers, and education experts, regularly releasing new features and improvements that provide teachers and pupils with quick and easy access to high-quality learning resources.

• Align squads and platform teams on their goals and the dependencies between them, so they can deliver in step

• Lead delivery across squads and platform teams: tracking progress, surfacing blockers, managing risks, and keeping delivery flowing

• Drive reprioritisation across squads as priorities shift, to keep OKRs on track

• Own and continuously improve Oak's delivery processes, ways of working, and tooling across squads and platform teams

• As a member of the Oak Team, contribute to the planning and culture of the organisation

• Work in cross-functional and product-oriented squads with colleagues from across the organisation, as required

• Deputise for the Head of Engineering and take on other general responsibilities as required

�� What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years' experience in a delivery management, project management, or Scrum Master role

• Deep knowledge of agile and/or lean delivery methodologies

• Experience identifying and managing cross-team dependencies, keeping interconnected workstreams aligned without creating unnecessary process overhead

• A track record of resolving delivery risks and priority clashes between teams, and managing competing stakeholder needs

You'll want to contribute in all areas, not just your own lane. You'll be comfortable working at pace across a range of digital systems, always looking for ways the team can keep getting better. And you'll be excellent at remote working, building relationships and managing your time effectively.

Purpose of the Role

An opportunity has arisen for an energetic and skilled individual to lead the Mind in Bexley Carers Service.  The Carers Service supports those looking after, or affected by, an adult relative or friend’s mental health, alcohol, or substance use challenges.

Partnership Working and Collaboration

· Promote the importance of carer involvement, in line with The Carers Trust “Triangle of Care” best practice guidance.

Quality and Performance Management

· Take overall accountability for the quality, performance, and continuous improvement of the service.

· Ensure monitoring data and information is collected and submitted on time.

· Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory, contractual, and organisational requirements.

· Monitor and evaluate service outcomes to ensure effectiveness and identify areas for development.

What the job involves

We’re looking for a Customer Journeys and Experience Manager to join our Customer Engagement and Experience Team on a fixed term basis for six months.

We’re about to launch our new, organisation-wide, segmentation project – Designed Around You, where you’ll play a key role in using this new insight to support teams to deliver the experience our customers have of Prostate Cancer UK. You’ll be responsible for developing and delivering multi-channel customer journeys that provide a consistent and engaging experience to all customers of Prostate Cancer UK. You’ll lead the ongoing development and optimisation of how we welcome customers to the organisation, as well as our engagement journeys, ensuring that customer needs are met, and behaviours and interests are tracked across every touchpoint.

Coaching and collaborating with colleagues and external agencies is essential to ensure successful deployment of programmes.

How and where we work

Colleagues attend the office at least four days per month (pro rata for part-time colleagues) to collaborate, build relationships, and support projects and decision-making. You can choose where to work the rest of the time. Travel to the office is a commute, so we pay our own travel costs.

Additional in-person attendance will be required during your first few months for induction and training, to support you to learn the role and get to know colleagues.

About the role
Robertson Street is a 42-bed hostel that provides a safe place for people to stay while they plan their next move towards independent living. As the Deputy Hostel Manager, you'll be responsible for creating an environment where both residents and employees can thrive. You'll lead a skilled and committed team, ensuring people receive the support they need to move on successfully and build more stable futures.

This is a role for someone who combines strong operational leadership with genuine compassion. Someone who can keep a complex service running effectively while never losing sight of the people at the heart of it.

Working closely with the Lead Manager and in-house Clinical Psychologist, you'll help shape a positive, psychologically informed culture where employees feel supported, residents feel respected and everyone is working towards better outcomes.

Your main responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day running of a busy 42-bed hostel.
• Support residents to move on to more independent accommodation and achieve positive next steps.
• Develop, motivate and manage a team through supervision, coaching and performance management.
• Oversee referrals into and out of the service, ensuring people access the right support at the right time.
• Build strong partnerships with housing providers, local authorities, healthcare services and other agencies across London.
• Ensure the service remains safe, responsive and effective through strong oversight of incidents, safeguarding and health and safety processes.

Crisis has laid out a vision, that by 2035 we will see all forms of homelessness in decline. We will bring about this impact through our three organisational aims, by:

To manage this bold ambition, we are planning in three-year cycles.
