They are looking for a Financial Analyst to join their team. This role is for a period of 6 months, but may extend. They offer hybrid working, 3 days in the office per week, 2 days from home. Duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Regular reviews of budget vs actual performance, identifying variances
- Prepare regular monthly financial reports and KPIs, conducting regular reviews with budget holders
- Monthly and quarterly prepayments, accruals and control account reconciliations
- Engage with budget holders to prepare submissions for annual budget and periodic forecasting submissions
- Analyse forecasts and budgets to prepare commentaries on key variances and emerging trends
- Identify errors and omissions in submissions
- Ownership of salary and headcount forecasting, budgeting and monitoring for all departments
- Maintain and improve models, supporting annual pricing and related analysis
- Assist with year-end audit preparation, providing necessary documentation
- Ensuring all year-end reconciliations and adjustments for relevant control accounts are completed accurately and in a timely manner
- Supporting internal and external auditors and providing accurate and timely financial information
- Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes, maintaining strong financial controls
- Be proactive in seeking continuous improvement and implement relevant audit recommendations
- Maintain good relationships with colleagues across the finance team and wider organisation
- Engage with colleagues across the organisation, both inside and outside finance, responding promptly to queries

What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed, you will need previous experience of management accounting and financial analysis. Strong Excel skills, including financial modelling are also key. If you were studying for a financial qualification, this would also be an advantage.

The ideal candidate will be highly literate and numerate, with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. They will bring proven experience in building and managing relationships with high-value donors, successfully stewarding individuals to secure five- and six-figure gifts. They will have a strong track record in developing and delivering individual giving and donor stewardship campaigns, as well as managing complex, cross-team projects and leading people, whether through formal line management or working with volunteers.

The candidate will be organised, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines. They will have strong digital skills, including confident use of CRM and email marketing systems, along with MS Office tools such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Reporting to Co-Heads of Casework

The post holder would be responsible for:

Essential:

* At least one years experience of working one-on-one and assessing the needs of homeless people or similar disadvantaged client groups

About the role

In this role you'll be a vital member of a highly talented, customer focused and enthusiastic helpdesk team who act as the first point-of-contact for end users.

A service desk expert you'll take pride in resolving almost all issues as they arise. Working arrangements

About you

With a proven track record in delivering first-class service desk support, having working in the SD environment previously, you'll have excellent customer service and communication skills, being used to working in a busy service desk team. You'll also have excellent telephone and customer handling skills to back up your technical and fault diagnosis experience. 

You’ll have strong troubleshooting skills, keeping the Customer informed of progress against their respective issues, ensuring an effective follow-up to ensure all service has been delivered and completed to the Customer's satisfaction.

The service has two 24/7 multi-bed premises which provide supported housing for individuals facing addiction and homelessness. 

In this role, you will work closely with our residents to provide tailored person-centred support to enable our residents to feel empowered to overcome personal challenges, and achieve their desired goals. You will support them with re-integrating into the community through tailored support plans, interventions, and working closely with our stakeholders.

This role is responsible for the administration of the grant management process including managing external reviews, communicating with funded researchers about project reports, contracting new research projects and responding to funding enquires, as well as the organisation of the Research Committee meetings and review papers. This is an exciting time to join the team as we expand our funding schemes and work to achieve the charity’s main objective of funding Parkinson’s research to slow, stop and reverse Parkinson’s.

Shift Pattern: 37.5 hours per week on a rolling rota between Monday to Friday from 10:00 - 18:00  consisting of 8 hour shifts, 5 days per week. You may be required to work outside these hours as per service requirements such as bank holidays and evenings. 

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Recovery Worker to join our team based in West Ealing. We support adults experiencing homelessness, isolation, mental health challenges and addiction. We provide support and appropriate interventions that will enable successful resettlements, and deliver to achieve safer, integrated communities for our stakeholders. The service has two 24/7 multi-bed premises which provide supported housing for individuals facing addiction and homelessness. 

In this role, you will work closely with our residents to provide tailored person-centred support to enable our residents to feel empowered to overcome personal challenges, and achieve their desired goals. You will support them with re-integrating into the community through tailored support plans, interventions, and working closely with our stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities include: 

• Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of residents and participants at all times
• Focusing on empowering our residents to take control over their lives and meet their personal goals
• Planning activities to engage residents with other people, communities, and opportunities
• Building trusting professional relationships with residents, helping them to achieve their goals and aspirations which could be through tailored one to one sessions, group sessions, in and out of service activities, and general wellbeing check ins
• Be a valued and reliable member of the team, completing handovers for night colleagues for a seamless service

About the role:

These roles are based in London with hybrid working between home and our office in London.

As a Senior IDVA you will:

• effectively manage and develop a high quality, innovative and pro-active domestic abuse service for victims and their children, including those at highest risk.
• need to ensure that the service prioritises the safety, security and dignity of service users and their children.
• lead in crisis situations, providing advice and guidance on safeguarding issues and information sharing.
• Work within a multi-agency framework consisting of the MARAC and local partnership responses to domestic abuse to keep safety central to all services for victims of domestic abuse.
• Develop your team and address their individual development/performance needs, set individual and team objectives and undertake annual appraisals.

To be successful in these roles, you will need:

• a strong understanding of domestic abuse, including the impact on victims and their children, and the legal and practical remedies available to these clients.
• knowledge and understanding of safeguarding practice and legislation relating to equal opportunities and diversity, inclusivity, safeguarding and risk assessments.
• experience managing the delivery of domestic abuse services and managerial experience will also be necessary as well as having a thorough understanding of IDVA work.
• a proven ability to confidently use various IT systems including Case Management, Microsoft Office, Zoom, Outlook and other online applications/platforms.
• a SafeLives IDVA training certificate, a relevant degree, a vocational qualification or have equivalent experience.
