 About the role

As a Principal Data Analyst in the Improvement Analytics Unit (IAU), you will collaborate with Senior Analytical Managers and Assistant Directors to develop and deliver an ambitious programme of work evaluating major health initiatives. You will lead IAU projects, support team members, and build relationships with key stakeholders at both local and national levels.

Initially the postholder will work predominantly within our growing technology-enabled change (TEC) evaluation programme. The TEC programme involves the causal evaluation of interventions or pathway changes in health and care enabled by innovative technology. The postholder may also work on projects on other programmes of work, including primary care and health system performance. Ideally the postholder will have experience of evaluations of new technologies or technology-enabled service change in health or care.

Managing multiple projects, you will identify, design, and take responsibility for the execution of new projects in collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders. You will lead and mentor Senior Data Analysts and Data Analysts and support their professional development. You will ensure all analyses and reports are of the highest quality and effectively communicate findings to diverse audiences. You will provide expert advice on causal analytical methods and study design, particularly relating to technology-enabled change.

The Lessons from Auschwitz (LFA) Project is a course for students in post-16 education delivered throughout the UK. Students then pass on the lessons they have learnt to their community. Age UK Croydon have an established befriending service providing one-to-one befriending for older people in their home. We are now launching a new and exciting Gift of Friendship (GoF) Programme to run alongside this existing face to face and telephone befriending service.

The GoF programme will offer a new additional person-centred companionship service where volunteers and older people are matched to reduce loneliness and isolation together.  The service is person centred and dependent on the goals of the individual which could include, going for a walk, going shopping, attending activities or helping an older person to build or regain confidence in going out and about and developing more social connections.

We are currently recruiting for an Operations Officer to lead on administrative support to the charity under the direction of the Project Manager, supporting on engagement with various stakeholders and networks. The goal of the post is to ensure that The Welcome Directory can effectively develop the reach of our work and achieve exponential growth, by maximising administrative efficiency. 

Whilst this is a 6-month contract, there is the potential to extend where funding permits.

Leading on operational projects, including:

• Faith community engagement
  • Processing faith/ belief community registrations and maintaining records

Dementia UK is currently seeking two Database Officers to lead on the delivery of processes within the Database Services team.

As a Database Officer, your primary responsibility will be managing a substantial volume of data files from a variety of sources, seamlessly importing this information into our fundraising database. You will handle supporter data ensuring a high level of accuracy, while being directly responsible for running the majority of data imports as well as handling enquires coming into the Database Services shared inbox and running regular data cleansing routines.

In addition, you will be expected to maintain data management standards, assisting with the implementation of processes and policies ensuring best practice is followed. Working with the Supporter Care, Finance, and Fundraising teams to ensure income is accurately coded across all fundraising streams and maintaining the accuracy of database process guidance.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of data protection guidelines including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and will bring previous experience in using databases for data entry, maintenance, and importation. A high level of computer literacy is essential, and comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, is required. Your ability to function effectively within a team, coupled with your initiative in prioritising and organising your workload, will be key to success.

With the charity’s move from Raiser’s Edge to Dynamics 365, you will also be involved in the testing of the new database, training of end users, and the writing of new process documentation. We are seeking a Senior Communications Officer to be a valued member of parkrun’s Communications Team. 

The focus of parkrun’s Communications Team is to make sure that parkrun’s communications are ‘always on’, accessible, inclusive and reaching those that too often are under-represented.
