The Clink Charity, founded in 2009, aims to prevent and reduce reoffending through training, rehabilitation, and support. We deliver hospitality and horticulture training behind the prison walls and in the community, by creating an environment where our students are supported to gain the skills, confidence and qualifications they need to rebuild their lives.

Since that time, we have trained approximately 5,000 people in prison and delivered 2,600 City & Guilds qualifications in a variety of hospitality and food courses.

What makes The Clink unique is our post-release support and mentoring programme that rehabilitates an offender back into society through assistance with health and mental health issues, housing, employment, family connections and friendships.

The charity operates an award-winning fine dining restaurant open to the public in HMP Brixton, training kitchens in the prison estate, horticulture projects at HMP Send and HMP Earlestoke, a commercial bakery in Brixton and a bespoke delivery service, Catered by Clink.

Additionally, Clink Events is our social enterprise catering business with food produced by the women in HMP Downview and also and additional kitchen at Herne Hill and then served by alumini on front of house ats some of the best venues in London including the Guildhall, the Science Museum, Cutty Sark, Kew Gardens and the Camden Roundhouse.  . In 2024, across 218 events, The Clink fed 36,000 people.

JOB PURPOSE

The Reintegration and Employment Lead (Prisons & Through the Gate) is responsible for leading the delivery of high-quality reintegration and employment support across multiple prison establishments and into the community, as well as across our youth projects.

This is a visible operational leadership role, working across a portfolio of prisons to ensure individuals are supported to leave custody with realistic employment opportunities, coordinated Through the Gate support and the practical tools they need to secure and sustain meaningful employment post-release.

The role also supports our youth café projects in South London and Guildford, working alongside Chef Trainers and Youth Support Workers to ensure that young people at risk of offending are supported to progress into further education, employment or training following graduation from the programme.

You will lead and develop a geographically dispersed team of Support and Employment Workers, building strong relationships with prison governors, prison staff, probation, employers and community partners to ensure a consistent, high-quality service across all locations. By providing effective leadership, driving continuous improvement and maintaining the highest professional standards, you will help people build positive futures through education, training and employment, contributing to reduced offending and reoffending and safer communities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Operational Leadership 

· Provide visible operational leadership across multiple prison establishments and community locations, ensuring a consistent, high-quality employment and reintegration service.

· Lead, motivate and develop a geographically dispersed team of Support and Employment Workers delivering support both within prisons, post-release and across our youth projects.

· Create a positive, collaborative and high-performing team culture through coaching,

supervision, mentoring and regular one-to-one support.

· Manage workloads, resources and priorities across multiple sites to ensure services remain responsive to operational needs.

· Conduct regular quality assurance, case reviews and performance discussions to maintain high standards of practice.

· Report to the Head of Training and Impact and the wider SLT on the delivery and impact of the Reintegration and Employment team, ensuring they are kept informed of performance, outcomes and the impact of interventions.

Through the Gate Delivery 

· Lead the delivery of an effective Through the Gate service, ensuring seamless continuity of employment support from custody into the community.

· Work closely with prison teams to embed employment planning throughout an individual's custodial journey.

· Ensure every participant has a realistic and personalised employment plan that continues beyond release.

· Oversee effective release planning and handover arrangements so individuals are connected with employers, probation, mentors and community services immediately following release.

· Identify and help remove barriers to employment, including housing, benefits, transport, digital inclusion, health and wellbeing.

Youth Project Delivery 

· Lead the delivery of high-quality support and progression pathways for young people participating in our youth café projects in South London and Guildford.

· Work closely with Chef Trainers and Youth Support Workers to ensure each young person receives coordinated support throughout their programme and is prepared for progression following graduation.

· Ensure every participant has a realistic and personalised progression plan, focused on further education, employment or training and reflecting their individual aspirations, skills and circumstances.

· Oversee effective transition arrangements at the end of the programme, connecting young people with employers, education and training providers, mentors and other appropriate community support.

· Identify and help address barriers to successful progression, working with colleagues and external partners to ensure young people can access the practical and personal support they need.

· Monitor progression and sustained outcomes following graduation, ensuring the impact of the youth programmes is captured and opportunities for improvement are identified.

Employer and Partnership Development

· Build and maintain strong relationships with employers to secure meaningful employment opportunities for prison leavers and young people progressing from our youth programmes.

· Develop productive partnerships with HMPPS, Probation, prison governors, prison employment leads, local authorities, education and training providers and voluntary sector organisations.

· Represent the organisation confidently across prison establishments and community settings, adapting delivery to local operational requirements while maintaining consistent service standards.

· Promote the benefits of inclusive employment and encourage employers to create opportunities for people who may face barriers to entering the workplace.

 

Performance and Service Improvement 

· Monitor and manage performance against contractual KPIs, organisational objectives and progression and employment outcome targets.

· Analyse performance data to identify trends, improve delivery and maximise sustained progression and employment outcomes.

· Prepare accurate reports for senior managers, commissioners and funders as required. Identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement, sharing best practice across all areas of service delivery.

· Ensure participant records and case management systems are maintained accurately and in a timely manner.

Safeguarding, Risk and Compliance 

· Ensure full compliance with HMPPS requirements, safeguarding procedures, organisational policies and relevant legislation across both custodial and community settings.

· Ensure that safeguarding practice reflects the different needs and requirements ofadults and children, with particular regard to the enhanced safeguarding responsibilities associated with working with young people under the age of 18.

· Ensure appropriate safeguarding arrangements are embedded within the youth projects, working closely with Support Workers and other colleagues to identify concerns, manage risk and escalate or refer safeguarding issues appropriately.

· Promote a culture of professional accountability, confidentiality, appropriate professional boundaries and safe working practices across all areas of service delivery.

· Identify, assess and manage operational and safeguarding risks, escalating concerns promptly and appropriately.

· Ensure the safe handling of sensitive information in accordance with UK GDPR, data protection requirements and organisational policies.

· Maintain an up-to-date understanding of prison security procedures and ensure these are consistently applied across all establishments.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Essential Experience 

· Significant experience of supporting prison leavers, young people at risk of offending, or individuals facing complex barriers to achieve positive and sustainable employment, education or training outcomes.

· Demonstrable experience of delivering or managing Through the Gate, reintegration, employability, youth or similarly complex support programmes.

· Proven experience of successfully leading and developing geographically dispersed or multisite teams.

· Experience of working across multiple prison establishments or similarly complex operational environments.

· Experience of working effectively with young people with complex or multiple needs, including those at risk of offending or disengagement from education, employment or training.

· Experience of building effective partnerships with HMPPS, Probation, employers, education and training providers, local authorities and community organisations.

· Experience of managing services against contractual KPIs, performance targets and outcome measures.

Additional Requirements 

· This is a highly visible operational leadership role requiring regular travel between prison establishments across the Home Counties, Oxfordshire and Wiltshire, as well as our youth projects in South London and Guildford.

· The successful candidate will be expected to spend a significant proportion of their working week on site, either within prison establishments or at our youth projects, building relationships with local teams, supporting staff, engaging with employers and partners, and maintaining a strong operational presence across the service.

· The post holder must be able to meet the security clearance requirements necessary to work within HM Prison establishments.

· A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is desirable, or the ability to travel efficiently between locations.

REPORTING LINES AND MANAGEMENT EXPECTATIONS

You will report directly to the Head of Training and Impact, THE Executive Leadership Team, but also work closely with Operations team in the prisons and related Clink project leads in the community.

This role sits at the centre of ShareAction’s five-year strategy for the period 2026–2031. As Programme Lead for Responsible Investment Standards (RIS), you’ll steward one of our most strategically important programmes – defining, defending and advancing the standards that underpin responsible investment and driving leadership among pension funds, ensuring the programme contributes directly to the organisation’s three strategic shifts: durable rules, asset-owner accountability, and public legitimacy.

Asset owners, such as pension funds, sit at the top of the investment chain, controlling the retirement savings of millions of people. How they invest that capital – and how they hold their fund managers to account on risks like climate change – shapes whether the system serves people and planet. Your work will help push pension funds towards genuine leadership and towards stronger laws and confident regulation across the UK and EU.

It’s a varied role spanning policy advocacy, direct engagement with asset owners, coalition-building and research. Early priorities include activating asset owners as system stewards and delivering our flagship benchmark of global asset managers. You’ll also work closely with colleagues developing new work to strengthen the voice of pension savers, ensuring the millions of working people whose retirement incomes are at stake stay at the heart of everything we do.

You’ll join a cohort of senior Programme Leads – spanning Energy Transition, Health and Pension Saver Power – helping to embed ShareAction’s new programmatic way of working. You’ll report to the Director of Investment Standards & Policy, working closely with the wider Leadership Team, including the CEO, COO and Director of Campaigns & Communications.

On the strategy side, you’ll set the direction for campaigns that influence investors, companies and policymakers, with clear change goals and a strong theory of change behind them. You’ll hold strategic oversight of the whole RIS portfolio, build a shared framework for planning and measuring impact, and report regularly to the Leadership Team on how things are progressing. You’ll also lead the programme’s evolution in line with our 2026–2031 strategy and make sure RIS acts as the organisational hub for responsible investment standards – working closely with our thematic programmes and the Pension Saver Team to keep everything joined up.

Funding is a big part of the role, too. You’ll take the lead on securing funds for the programme, working closely with the Director of Investment Standards & Policy and our Fundraising Team, and you’ll build and manage funder relationships directly, supporting Directors and the CEO on the bigger, cross-programme funder conversations. You’ll also represent ShareAction externally – at events, in the media, and in the rooms where the debate gets shaped.

Day to day, you’ll oversee delivery of the whole programme portfolio, holding responsibility for its objectives and outputs. At the heart of this is our Investor Engagement and Research Team, which you’ll lead directly – overseeing everything from benchmarking the asset management industry to publishing research and guidance for asset owners, building the relationships that strive up standards, and providing secretariat support for our CRIN and RINU networks. You’ll keep an eye on risk across the portfolio and work closely with peers across ShareAction’s Extended Leadership Team to keep it all well coordinated.

You’ll take overall responsibility for the programme’s financial performance, working with programme staff to manage budgets that flex in line with fundraising income. On the people side, you’ll directly manage five members of staff and oversee the work of 12 more, building a team culture that’s healthy, inclusive and genuinely supportive. You’ll also matrix manage colleagues across the wider portfolio and share learning and best practice to build consistency across programmes – including shaping how ShareAction approaches research governance more broadly.

We’ll also look to you to stay on top of best practice across communications, campaigns, policy, research and investor engagement and to keep pace with political, commercial and sector developments – including horizon-scanning on emerging themes like AI, bondholder stewardship and pension governance, so RIS is always ahead of the debate, and coordinating engagement with investors across the organisation.

What you’ll bring to the team

We’re looking for someone with:

• A proven track record of leading complex programmes or portfolios that influence the choices of decision-makers. These should be programmes that integrate a range of disciplines and levers, ideally in a not-for-profit or campaigning context.
• Broad subject matter expertise across relevant campaigns or thematic areas and the ability to hold strategic oversight across multiple topics.
• Knowledge of the pensions industry: how it works and what incentivises pension funds to take action.

Spectra is looking for a Research and Community Development Coordinator to join our growing Sex Worker Support Service.

Spectra is a health and wellbeing not-for-profit with a strong LGBTQ+ heritage. We design and deliver programmes for people from marginalised communities, including LGBTQ+ communities, particularly trans and gender diverse communities, sex worker communities, young people, and people living with and affected by HIV. Our work includes sexual health programmes, HIV and STI testing and outreach, counselling, advocacy, peer support and mentoring. 

Our Sex Worker Support Service has grown significantly since it was formed in 2023, and we are now looking for someone who can support the next stage of its development through community engagement, partnership work, participatory research and shared learning.

About the role

This role will support the ongoing development of Spectra’s Sex Worker Support Service by working closely with the Head of Sex Worker Support Services and the wider team. The postholder will help develop collaborative working with community and grassroots organisations, experts by experience, statutory agencies and other stakeholders.

You will lead on developing projects that support cross-community development in the sex worker support sector across London. This will include building external partnerships, helping to develop training, and supporting Spectra to play a positive and useful role in the wider sector. 

The role will also involve recruiting for and facilitating community participatory research projects and focus groups, contributing to data analysis and report writing, and sharing learning with colleagues and external stakeholders. The postholder will also occasionally contribute to outreach sessions and community support training, to build a direct understanding of the needs of the sex workers we work with.

Key areas of work

In this role, you will:

• Support the development of collaborations with agencies, grassroots organisations, collectives and experts by experience.
• Assist with the production of peer-led needs assessments and reliable, usable data and research. 
• Facilitate regular community participatory groups with service users and share learning with colleagues. 
• Create and distribute a monthly newsletter to stakeholders.
• Coordinate training opportunities and awareness-raising sessions with external organisations, delivering training alongside the Head of Service and/or other colleagues.

The FA's Grassroots Division is looking for a purpose led Impact Manager, with a strong analytical skill set to lead the development and delivery of a robust impact framework for grassroots football, ensuring The FA and County FAs can clearly evidence the difference football makes locally and nationally. We are seeking an ambitious and motivated Head of Research to oversee the delivery of our research funding programme. You will ensure our funding is delivered strategically with the greatest impact possible for people affected by MND. You will manage our research team to oversee the development and delivery of effective funding schemes, partnerships and initiatives, whilst ensuring the outputs of our research are monitored and evaluated, to communicate our impact and inform our future activities.

This is a key role in our small, agile organisation that will involve close working across the charity, and the research community. We are looking for someone with strong experience in research and people management, working experience in drug discovery, with excellent communication skills and strong motivation to make a difference for people affected by MND. 

Team Structure: 

You will report to the Director of Research and manage a team of four: three Research Programme Managers and a Research Officer. 

Key responsibilities: 

• Have day-to-day responsibility for distribution of the charity’s research funding, developing detailed annual plans and delivering against time and budget; 

• Be responsible for overseeing governance and compliance for all research funding activities, including adherence to standards set by the Association of Medical Research Charities; 

• Identify opportunities for improvements to grant management systems, processes and documentation and work closely with the research team to ensure they are implemented;

About the role

This is a fixed term role with a clear mission, created specifically to support Crisis’ CRM Transformation programme. We are migrating to a new CRM system, Microsoft Dynamics 365, underpinned by a Modern Data Platform, and the next nine to twelve months are critical as the new platform enters live operation. As Interim Business Systems Manager you will sit at the centre of this transition, collaborating with product owners, developers, suppliers and business stakeholders to make the handover from programme delivery to business-as-usual a success, equipping Crisis with impactful, sustainable systems for fundraising and engagement in support of our mission to end homelessness.

Coaching and developing our Product Owners will be at the heart of this role, helping them build the confidence and capability to own their backlogs, prioritise with clarity and bring well-formed decisions to the table, alongside embedding consistent, sustainable development practices across the team. You will also lead key transition deliverables, including the rebuild of Apteco FastStats so that marketing delivery remains robust and well-governed, and provide governance, oversight and transition planning for our Christmas systems cycle.

This role exists to support a defined period of transformation; it is offered on a fixed term basis, and decisions about how the team is shaped beyond the transition will be made as the programme concludes. What we can offer now is a bold, genuinely pivotal piece of work, and the opportunity to leave Crisis with a stronger, more confident and capable systems team.

About you

• Demonstrable experience of leading technology teams through significant change, such as service transition, operating model shifts or go-live readiness
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar enterprise CRM platforms
• A solid grounding in service management principles (ITIL or equivalent), with practical experience of establishing support models and change governance
• A track record of building or improving development practices, from sprint discipline and documentation through to release management and peer review
• Experience of developing product ownership, solution design and business analysis capability in others
• Strong stakeholder management skills and the confidence to work at pace with ambiguity

Founded in 1860, Providence Row is a specialist homelessness charity working in East London and the City, deliberately operating at the most acute end of the homelessness spectrum.

The charity reaches around 1,200 individuals (annually) with the most deep-rooted needs; people whose interlinking mental and physical health, and trauma and substance use challenges mean they often struggle to access mainstream support. Providence Row provides a wide range of Crisis and Progression services including showers, meals, advice & support, health and wellbeing services, drug and alcohol harm reduction, psychotherapy, a hospital discharge service, and learning, training and work-readiness programmes, amongst others. In 2025/26, we supported 1,270 people through 36,313 tailored interventions.

There are many opportunities for the right candidate to develop in the role while working independently and as part of a committed team by using your excellent creativity, written, verbal and persuasion skills to secure and steward partnerships with existing and new supporters, alongside the Head of Philanthropy, and wider fundraising team.
