 Role purpose:

To deliver comprehensive, client-focused debt management advice and supervision

Key responsibilities:

• Manage debt casework with professionalism and care
• Attend weekly outreach sessions and fulfil funder obligations
• Supervise volunteer debt case work and complete a monthly debt IFR
• In conjunction with Case Checkers and Advice Session Supervisors, help monitor the quality of advice given to debt clients and identify where further support is needed
• Contribute to reporting for CAEW and our funders, including FCA and Consumer Duty requirements

• Attend regular meetings of paid staff and volunteers as required

1. Accredited (MaPS/Wiseradviser) Debt Case Worker/Specialist

Motability Foundation is a national charity which believes that no disabled person should be disadvantaged due to poor access to transportation. We help disabled people enjoy the freedom and independence to work, to learn, to access services, and to see family and friends.

We provide a range of grants to help people with different kinds of disabilities, and we oversee the Motability Scheme, delivered by the private company Motability Operations. The Scheme has more than 900,000 disabled customers who use the enhanced mobility benefits they receive from the Government to lease a car, scooter or powered wheelchair.

What you’ll be doing

Scheme Oversight

• Support oversight activities including the review of Motability Operations’ KPI reports and information, analyse performance and report against Scheme operational objectives.

• Produce input to a monthly commentary on Scheme Performance to be presented to the Board of Governors.

• Undertake operational reviews on selected areas of Scheme activity.

Bowel Research UK is looking for a permanent Research and Grants Manager to coordinate and evaluate the management of the charity’s research activities. About the role

As People Officer, you will provide high-quality, accurate support across the full employee/volunteer lifecycle, while also contributing to employee and volunteering relations, and continuous improvement of our People & Culture services. As People Officer you will be part of a team who support a headcount of approximately 250 employees, 200 volunteers and 150 self-employed individuals across Hertfordshire. Key Responsibilities include:

Employee Lifecycle

• Deliver a high-quality, confidential and customer-focused People service from recruitment through to leaving.
• Advise line managers on recruitment; selection, interview and safer recruitment
• Provide People advice for queries from the People & Culture team in line with policies, managing and or escalating complex issues as appropriate.

Systems, Data & Reporting

• Produce timely and accurate People management information to assist organisational decision-making. (ihasco, Breathe, Livepay, Charity log, etc)
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records within the HR information system (Breathe HR), including new profiles, personal data, annual leave and absence reporting.
• Oversee monthly payroll data collation, including hours, absences, and any contractual changes, ensuring timely submission to Payroll.
• Ensure Breathe annual holiday renewal and other system updates are effectively completed and communicated

Employee Relations & Case Management

About the role

Church Action on Poverty is a small, national charity working alongside people in poverty to build dignity, agency and power, and to end poverty in the UK. We're looking for a Finance Assistant to join our friendly finance team and help keep our organisation running smoothly.

You'll maintain accurate financial records, support colleagues across the country with day-to-day finance queries, and help our Finance Manager keep our systems and processes in good shape. It's a varied, hands-on role at the heart of a movement working to end poverty.

What you'll be doing

● Keeping our financial systems accurate and up to date through careful record-keeping.

As an Intervention Worker at Hestia, you will play a crucial role in our Highbury Approved Premises. Your contributions will directly influence the lives of our service users, guiding them towards a path of empowerment and independence. A day will never look the same and some of the things you can expect to do/be responsible for are:

The role in Approved Premises (AP) involves supporting high-risk individuals transitioning from prison back into the community. Staff work closely with residents, providing guidance, promoting positive behaviour, and helping them build independence while maintaining a structured environment. Responsibilities include preparing meals, supporting rehabilitation plans in collaboration with probation and external agencies, and ensuring residents follow rules such as curfews and drug/alcohol testing. Staff are also expected to assist in running and documenting activities, completing daily tasks, and keeping the premises safe, clean, and secure through regular checks and communication. A key aspect of the role is empowering residents to take responsibility for their own lives, without doing things for them, while providing support and supervision as needed. Staff must adhere to Hestia's policies and the Ministry of Justice's guidelines. 

You'll need to be able to demonstrate the core skills this role requires as well as match our values and mission. You don't have to tick all the boxes right away; the important thing is that you're willing to learn. Experience of charity finance, including restricted funds, SORP and project accounting, would be an advantage, alongside strong financial control, reporting and forecasting skills. The Assistant FP&A Analyst plays an important supporting role in contributing to budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling and reporting across the Society. Working from home, you will support budgeting and forecasting cycles, maintain templates, and produce regular management account packs and dashboards for our Finance Business Partners and budget holders.
