Key Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for existing supporters and new supporters who respond to our fundraising activities by phone, email, letter or in person, letter, or email delivering outstanding supporter care
• Liaise with supporters in timely communication via email, phone, and mail, with excellent customer care
• Prioritise answering incoming phone calls and escalate any difficult situations/complaints to the Senior Supporter Care Manager
• Support processing incoming phone and postal donations
• Assist with banking and processing incoming/outgoing post
• Be responsible for thanking our supporters, including by letter, email and phone, dispatch of information and fundraising materials

• Assist with cancelling and amending all types of regular gifts and sending out appropriate letters

Respite and Care Executives play a significant role in enabling our beneficiaries to continue to be independent for as long as possible and when/if they require formal care, they can support them during this time too. They work closely with the Advocacy Team and the Friendships and Connections team to ensure that all their needs are met.

We are looking for a candidate to cover Maternity Leave for 14 months. They will work alongside the current post holder and the other team members for 2 months to learn the role and take over existing cases. They will form part of the existing Respite, Care and Advocacy Team and work closely with other members of the team as well as other colleagues in the Operations Directorate (mainly Welfare).

An articulate communicator with IT skills suited to working in a paperless environment, you must be able to demonstrate an ability to relate to people of all ages as well as professionals such as external case working organisations, RAF stations, care providers, those who have lasting power of attorney (LPA). You must have an understanding of the social care system and the Mental Capacity Act.

The role is based in our London HQ, with a minimum of three days working in the office per week. The successful candidate for this role will need to be Standard DBS checked and prove they have the right to work in the UK.

About the role

Joining our dedicated team of nurses, you will support our helpline and Ask Our Nurses (AON).

The nursing team includes an associate director, senior clinical nurse specialists, clinical nurse specialists, sessional nurses and trained helpline staff.

You will act as a resource for clients, healthcare professionals and the wider public about breast health and breast cancer. This includes providing information and support to clients though our national helpline, by email and social media.

The helpline service is run throughout the week, and on Saturday mornings (the latter is optional, other than training days) and the helpline hours are 8:45am to 4.00pm. Team training usually occurs twice a year on Saturdays. You’ll be supported by a senior clinical nurse specialist and have regular clinical supervision. We are looking for candidates who can work at least one day (6.25 hours) per week

Do you have excellent communication skills and experience in breast care nursing? If so, we’re really interested in hearing from you. This position could suit someone working part time in the NHS or private sector or for individuals who would like to use their information and support skills through our helpline and AON written enquiry services.

Furnishing Futures is an innovative charity creating fully furnished, healing homes for survivors of domestic abuse who have been rehoused in empty social housing. We do this by partnering with the interiors industry, which donates high quality furniture and homeware that could otherwise end up in landfill.

This job involves working closely with our CEO and Head of Operations carrying out multiple tasks throughout the day to ensure the smooth running of the charity. So, if you have a can-do attitude, strong experience of administrative processes and office duties then we’d love to hear from you. 

Crisis is the national charity for people experiencing homelessness. We have embarked on our 10-year strategy for ending homelessness. We know it is not inevitable. We know together we can end it.

About the role

As Brand Manager (Brand Marketing) at Crisis, you will play a pivotal role in developing and embedding a bold, unifying brand proposition that everyone across the charity can get behind. Working in close partnership with the Brand and Marketing Lead, Head of Brand Marketing and Audiences, and colleagues across Crisis — including experts by experience — you will shape what Crisis stands for and how we show up to the world.
We’re looking for someone who can help define and bring to life a long-term brand positioning platform and lead the development of integrated brand marketing campaigns that inspire belief and action in our vision to end homelessness.

This is a highly collaborative role that combines strategic brand thinking with creative execution — connecting insight, storytelling and design to ensure our brand is understood, felt, and lived both internally and externally.

About you

You will have:

• Proven experience in brand management or brand marketing roles – you’ll know how to deliver brand strategies that strengthen awareness and engagement
• Experience of developing or embedding a brand proposition or positioning platform
• A track record in delivering large-scale, integrated, multi-channel campaigns.
• A strong understanding of brand and audience insight, working with design and creative teams to deliver impactful storytelling and content.
• Proven skills in using brand and marketing data to inform decision-making.
• Excellent relationship-building and influencing skills — collaborative and able to bring others on the journey.
