About the role

This exciting role will supercharge Peat-free Partnership’s public facing campaign and advocacy to ban the sales of peat in the UK. You will lead the public campaigning element of the Peat-free Partnership (PfP) - a major cross sector effort - to secure a legal end to peat sales in UK horticulture, hosted and coordinated by Plantlife. By working with partners and industry leaders, engaging with celebrities and the public across the UK, you’ll create a powerful, insight led campaign that builds momentum and influences decision-makers to ban peat sales in the UK

Focussed on building stronger public support for a legislated ban you will deliver the mass communication and advocacy campaigning to help drive policy change. As well as working alongside PfP’s policy advocate and other Plantlife colleagues you will help forge a unified voice across all PfP members and create increased support from industry and other partners.

FTWW is looking for a Communications Coordinator! The successful candidate will develop and grow the organisation’s online platform, including sharing information, resources and signposting within FTWW’s pan-Wales virtual peer support community and beyond.

The role is full-time (0.8 FTE considered for the right candidate), home-based within Wales, with occasional travel to events and meetings, so a driving licence and access to a car would be an advantage. We work flexibly, but core working hours are between 10am-4pm, and the successful candidate will be expected to work some evening and weekends, as required.

We are a small but mighty charity where no two days are the same. You may be involved in promoting a focus group to our members one day and meeting with a journalist the next. We currently have over 100 registered volunteers and over 2000 members of our online community, and you will work closely with our Volunteer & Community Coordinator to ensure that our members are at the heart of what we do.

The ability to speak Welsh, or a willingness to learn, is desirable.

The Woodland Trust is looking for a Designer to design visuals and engaging communications to  help the organisation communicate to a range of audiences across a variety of platforms.

The Role:

• Communicate key missions and projects to a large audience using digital channels and print.
• Take briefs and work with clients to design and develop visuals and media in line with their requirements and deadlines.
• Responsible for client liaison and ensuring an up-to-date online workflow system using Monday.
• Manage a variety of your own multi-channel projects, working directly with other colleagues to support the needs of the projects.
• Reinforce the Trusts brand guidelines and communicate these to a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
• Responsible for creating and managing effective partnerships with external agencies across print, mail and digital media.
• This is a hybrid position with a mix of home working, and from our head office in Grantham, Lincolnshire. Head office attendance would be required no more than twice a month on average.
• This is a maternity cover contract until the end of April 2027, working 30-hours per week.

The Candidate:

• Experience in using Adobe Creative Cloud to develop creative ideas from the briefs provided and in designing visuals for social media platforms.
• Knowledge of on and offline channels and how best to navigate these to get the best outcomes.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate with clients to understand briefs and create ideas and material to be used throughout the organisation.
• Strong time management skills, you’ll be able to complete work to agreed deadlines with clients and colleagues
• Knowledge of the creative design process, art working process and creating print ready files from your design work.
• Educated to a degree level, preferably in a role related area.
• Experience managing multiple workstreams and projects whilst maintaining the quality of your work.

About the role

The Research and Projects Assistant is a new role supporting EFN’s strategic projects and research, and would suit someone looking to build their experience in these areas. The post-holder will play a key role in helping to deliver projects and research that aim to improve how environmental funding is coordinated and distributed.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working with data and information, thinking creatively, and ensuring that high-quality projects are delivered efficiently. This role involves supporting a range of projects, so being able to keep track of tasks and information will be important.

We are seeking an engaging and collaborative lead to design and deliver a sector-leading national capacity building programme while supporting the development of regional/ place-based ecosystems able to advance and grow equality impact investing.

You will work directly with investors and grant makers to embed EII in strategy, policy and practice and help pioneer a new generation of collaborative place-based initiatives that connect frontline equality organisations needs and ideas with investors and philanthropists.

Key to this role will be both generating, and capturing, cutting edge ideas and practical approaches, ensuring different parts of the equality impact investing movement share, and benefit from, others learning.

You will be skilled in training, facilitation and capability building, with the ability to translate systems thinking into practical guidance others can use. Excellent relationship-building skills, the ability to co-create and co-deliver with a wide range of stakeholders, and an understanding of equality and social justice will be essential.

The Events Assistant will support EFN to plan and deliver our annual programme of 50+ events.

Location: Working from home, ideally within 90 minutes of London by train. Regular travel to London will be required for in-person events, with occasional travel to other parts of the UK.

Salary: £30,000 pro rata

Contract: Fixed Term Contract for one year, subject to a six-month probationary period.

Hours: 0.5 FTE/2.5 days a week (17.5 hours) to include Tuesdays and with a flexible working schedule to cover events as needed. For any extended hours worked through event or travel time, time off in lieu (TOIL) will be provided.

About the role

Events are at the heart of how EFN brings its community together, creating spaces for our funder and fundraiser networks to connect, learn and collaborate. The Events Assistant will support the Programme Team to plan and deliver our annual programme of 50+ events.

EFN’s Programme Team is made up of our Scotland Lead, Funder Network Lead, Environmental Groups Lead and Head of Developing Philanthropy. Each of these roles produces events targeted at different audiences, ranging from new philanthropists and wealth advisors to funders and fundraisers. 

About you

This is a varied and hands-on role that requires strong organisational skills, excellent attention to detail, and a genuine enjoyment of bringing people together. You will be highly organised and confident in taking responsibility for the end-to-end logistics, coordination and delivery of events, ensuring they run smoothly and leave attendees feeling informed, connected and inspired.

Essential 

• Demonstrable experience coordinating events, either online or in person, from planning through to delivery.

• Excellent organisational and project management skills, with strong attention to detail 

• Confidence working with online event platforms and ticketing systems.

• A proactive, problem-solving approach; able to anticipate and solve issues .

• Excellent interpersonal skills.

• Advanced IT skills, including online meeting platforms.

The role holds responsibility for individual giving, legacies and trusts fundraising, but we don't expect you to come with it all. You'll be given the time, space and tools to develop any skills and experience you don't currently have.

What we definitely need is someone with a strong foundation in Individual Giving - that means the ability to lead on campaigns and product development, as well as confidently manage pipeline planning.

You'll take creative control and responsibility for delivering effective multi-channel fundraising appeals, including key moments in the campaign calendar, such as the Christmas. Using insight, storytelling and data to deepen relationships and grow income, you'll develop meaningful supporter journeys that recruit, retain and inspire generosity. Working closely with colleagues across communications, operations and programmes, you'll help strengthen collaboration across teams, ensuring day-to-day activity and processes support the shared goal of bringing Church Army's mission to life.

You'll also line manage the Individual Giving Officer, providing guidance and support, as well as supervising and supporting the Trusts Consultant and Legacy Consultant. This could be a perfect development opportunity for someone looking to build or grow their leadership experience.

About you

• You're already an experienced Individual Giving fundraiser with a passion and talent for exceptional storytelling, able to write compelling copy that inspires people to take action.
• You can demonstrate previous experience managing campaigns or projects end-to-end and feel confident working with data and insight to optimise results.
• You either already see yourself as a leader or have ambition to be one, with the potential and capability to lead by example and provide guidance and mentorships to others.

We really want to emphasise that you don't need to tick all the boxes to be considered, but you do need to be motivated to broaden your skillset and experience, with natural curiosity and a solutions-focused way of being.

Alignment with Church Army's Christian mission and feeling comfortable working in a faith-based environment where prayer and shared values are part of daily life is important. This role has an occupational requirement for the postholder to be a practising Christian.
