We’re seeking a Senior Individual Giving Officer to join our creative and fast-paced Individual Giving team! 

This is an exciting time to join Pancreatic Cancer UK, with an ambitious 5-year strategy to double income and double survival rates so that everyone with pancreatic cancer can live long and well. We’re passionate about delivering it, but we can’t do it alone. In this role, you’ll be responsible for:

• Leading on the delivery of acquisition and retention campaigns and optimising supporter journeys.
• Supporting on the development of new income streams across a variety of channels and products including digital, direct mail and telemarketing.
• Ensuring campaigns, you lead on are within budget, regularly monitoring KPIs and supporting the Individual Giving Manager with recommendations.
• Developing and maintaining strong relationships with internal teams and external suppliers.

The Head of Finance will primarily have responsibility for planning, implementing, managing and controlling all financial-related activities. You will have direct responsibility for the finance function.

Day to day financial management of the organisation, including:

FINANCE MANAGER JOB DESCRIPTION

Role Purpose

The Finance Manager will proactively plan, manage and oversee the financial strategy, operations, and compliance of our dynamic and growing organisation. The role contributes directly to the organisation’s strategic planning and has hands-on oversight of financial transactions, operations, compliance and reporting.  

As the Finance Manager, you will be a member of the Executive leadership team working closely with the CEO on matters of financial strategy and business development - contributing to strategic decisions and providing financial guidance.You’d also be supported by the Finance Manager Assistant and the Bookkeeper.

Main Objectives

• Provide leadership, in-depth knowledge and financial expertise to support the organisation’s strategy, business development and operations. 
• Manage the day-to-day financial operations including payroll, payments, controls and cash flow to ensure sound financial management and accuracy around all financial routines and procedures. Also ensure compliance and accurate reporting.
• Lead on and manage financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting - working closely with the CEO.
• Lead on enhancing procedural efficiencies and streamlining in finance operations.
• Prepare statutory and management accounts. Manage the annual financial audit and implement recommendations.

Financial Planning

• Lead on financial planning, budgeting and forecasting.

Financial Management

We have recently launched our new CRM based on Microsoft Dynamics 365, and are looking for a CRM Manager to join an end user Charity in Central London. The Charity has a direct front end CRM user base of around 30 staff. It also has a power platforms bespoke portal for between 64-120 regional staff to login to, who contribute to the membership programme, creating new memberships and managing the renewals process which happens each year. It also has a power portals Donation portal which directly integrates to Dynamics 365 and Business central. This role is to support our internal staff (30) and external Staff (120) with the day to day activities ensuring business processes are fit for purpose and seek out possible improvements in the long term roadmap.

Key Functional Areas

• Data architecture– Lead on the review and structure of data on CRM.
• Systems Governance - Ensuring system best practices are followed, producing dashboards to identify common errors to follow up with users offering tailored training for common issues.
• Training and Support - training of new members, ongoing training and refreshing areas where common issues are found in regular training sessions all staff and portal users can attend.

Work Location/Hybrid Working Pattern

This role will be based at our Head Office in central London. Mothers’ Union operates a hybrid working model. Job Title: Recovery Worker (Night Shifts)

Location: In service based in Camberwell, SE5 7HQ (Queens Road Peckham is a 23 minute walk or a 13 minute ride on the 36, 136, 171 and 436 and Elephant and Castle station is a 8 minute ride on the 343) 

Salary: £27,000

Shift Pattern: 37.5 hours per week working Monday to Sunday on a rolling rota which covers 21:00 - 08:00. Rotas will typically be 2 nights on, 2 nights off, 3 nights on, then 2 nights off. Bank holiday working permitted if rota falls on this day. You may also be required to work flexibly in the week to attend day meetings and training sessions.

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Recovery Worker to join our team which aims to deliver support to male residents aged between 18 and 65. You will be at the heart of providing person centred support in a residential setting to our residents who have mental health issues, often alongside drug and alcohol dependencies. You will provide tailored support to help our residents to improve their quality of life, and achieve their personal goals through providing flexible support. The service offers our residents two years supported living with 24 hour medium to high levels of support to help residents maintain stability in the community and reduce hospital admissions. 

You will work directly with our residents to support them to overcome their personal barriers and challenges to achieve positive outcomes. You will do this through one to one support sessions, group sessions and activities, and general support with their daily living.

The role further includes:

• Supporting residents with taking their correct medication
• Carrying out various welfare checks on residents during the night

• Experience working within a residential setting
• Experience working with people with multiple and complex needs, ideally in mental health

• IT ability to use our online CRM systems and Microsoft programs daily
• Previous experience in creating co-produced support plans, key working, and care plans

• A qualification in NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent is extremely desirable

Role Details

We are looking for someone with a passion to improve healthcare for babies born premature or sick, through the leadership of Bliss’ major practice improvement programme, the Bliss Baby Charter.

The Baby Charter is a national accreditation programme being undertaken by most neonatal units in the UK. It aims to improve outcomes for babies born premature or sick by encouraging neonatal healthcare professionals to involve parents in the care of their baby. This is known as Family Integrated Care, or FICare.

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience: 

•Strong experience of planning and delivery of services for clients, customers, service-users or beneficiaries.
•Strong understanding of supportive line management, helping direct reports to achieve their objectives, to learn and develop in their roles
•Demonstrable experience of building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and the ability to influence and negotiate effectively.

About the role

You will lead on the delivery of a portfolio of virtual and DIY fundraising events, including our Facebook Challenges and growing Swim It campaign, with the objective of raising over £6m for people living with cancer.

You will be responsible for recruitment through paid and organic marketing and providing a sector-leading stewardship journey to ensure our supporters feel engaged and inspired from the moment they sign-up, working collaboratively with both internal and external stakeholders to achieve this. You will also be responsible for line management of 1 direct report, supporting them to inspire a high level of performance.
