This role sits in our Finance & Commercial Directorate on the Finance team. About the role
You’ll lead our finance function, line managing two team members, and overseeing all aspects of financial operations. Reporting to the CEO, Executive Team(ET), and with the Finance and Commercial Director (FCD) support the preparation of papers for the Board on the numbers, with narrative, detail and analysis where appropriate.
You will maintain accurate financial records and systems that meet charity accounting standards and the requirements of the Statement of Recommended Practice (SORP).
You will produce timely, clear, and insightful monthly management accounts and financial reports for our executive team and board of trustees, supporting evidence-based decision making. You’ll also ensure our balance sheet is up to date, financial controls are robust, and all financial transactions are managed efficiently and with integrity.
This is a key leadership role in ensuring we continue to manage our resources effectively, enabling us to deliver our mission now and into the future.

About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Insights and Evaluation team at Dementia UK supporting the organisation to build the evidence base for Admiral Nursing through collecting and sharing evidence on the effectiveness of the Admiral Nursing model.
As the Insights and Evaluation Officer, you will be responsible for overseeing and maintaining the team’s systems and folders, ensuring key resources remain organised and up-to-date. Additionally you will act as the main point of contact for enquiries within the team. Actively managing the team’s inbox and coordinating meetings and projects, providing essential administrative support.
You will also be involved in coordinating data collection processes and assisting with the team’s survey function. This will include supporting basic analysis of evaluation data, collating and cleaning survey data and contributing to the production of reports and other key documents.
To succeed in this role, you will need experience in providing administrative support, including managing shared folders and systems. Strong organisational skills are essential, along with the ability to prioritise and handle a diverse range of responsibilities independently. How are staff supported to work remotely?
VoiceAbility has a small number of offices. Employees including the People team are homebased for Administration and meetings will be held online as well as in person on occasion for which travel will be required.
When you need to travel for work, expenses will be paid (mileage or public transport costs).
VoiceAbility offers the usual regular manager one to ones, and Staff forums. We hold regular Team meetings with a mix of virtual and in person approach.

The Opportunity

About the Role
As Head of Fundraising at Coventry you will be leading a team of Fundraisers at an incredibly exciting time for the Charity as they look to grow and diversify income streams. About you
To be successful in this role you must have;

The post will be based in our office at Swan St but will require travel across Greater Manchester with special focus in and around the Salford area. In addition, occasional travel to other cities including possible overnights may be required.

You understand the barriers to accessing healthcare faced by people who are experiencing homelessness and can form professional relationships with peer advocates and Homeless Health Peer Advocacy clients, all the while following relevant guidance and safeguarding procedures.
