About the role

This coordinator role sits within our Mass Participation team in our Income Generation directorate. The role supports participants in mass participation events – both organised by third parties including the London Marathon or bespoke Shelter events that you will have responsibilities for.

The main objective of the co-ordinator role will be to deliver challenge and bespoke events, from planning and set up, pulling together financial budgets to meeting supporter recruitment and income targets through to the delivery of event day and evaluating results.

This role will give you the exciting opportunity to work on our busy third-party programme, enabling delivery of events including London Marathon, London Landmarks Half Marathon and the Hackney Half and support the development of new bespoke products.

This role is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience across a variety of mass participation events with the chance to be involved in event delivery, supporter stewardship and volunteer management for some of the most prestigious events in the charity calendar.

About you

You will enjoy collaborating and communicating with a wide range of stakeholders, and have experience designing and working across customer journeys with multiple touchpoints. You will bring strong attention to detail and a proactive, solutions-focused approach to your work.

You will have a proven track record of delivering against financial targets, with experience in monitoring performance and reporting on progress.

Good time management and organisational skills are important for this role as there’s a lot to do, it’s important to be able to manage your time effectively. In your first year

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Development Manager to join our Development Team at an exciting point in the Library’s growth.

About Pathfinders Neuromuscular Alliance

Pathfinders Neuromuscular Alliance is a user-led charity run by and for people with muscle-weakening conditions. We provide advocacy, peer support, information, training and campaigning to help disabled people live with greater confidence, connection and control.

We are developing a new service model to help adults with neuromuscular conditions identify practical needs relating to equipment, adaptations and wider day-to-day transitions, and to connect them to people with relevant lived-experience expertise.

Purpose of the Role

The Outreach and Practitioner–Evaluator will help Pathfinders identify adults with neuromuscular conditions who may benefit from practical support around equipment, adaptations and wider day-to-day challenges.

The role is not primarily to provide complex specialist advice directly. Instead, the postholder will:

• build relationships with services and organisations to identify potential clients
• hold structured conversations to understand people’s needs
• offer initial information, practical resources and signposting
• connect people to Pathfinders’ lived-experience specialists where more specific insight is needed
• support the development of reusable lived-experience resources, including short videos, blogs and written guidance
• collect routine feedback and help document and evaluate the service

Pathfinders’ lived-experience specialists are people with direct personal experience of neuromuscular conditions and of specific issues, transitions or practical solutions. A key part of this role is helping people access that expertise.

The role is to help people make sense of what might help, what routes may be available, and who they may need to speak to next. It is not to guarantee that equipment will be obtained, but to improve people’s understanding, preparedness and access to relevant expertise and pathways.

Main Responsibilities

1. Outreach and relationship-building

• Build and maintain relationships with clinics, hospices, charities, networks and other relevant services.
• Travel regularly to external settings to identify potential clients and raise awareness of the service.
• Confidently approach professionals, families and individuals to explain the offer and encourage engagement.
• Help create practical referral and engagement routes into the service.
• Prioritise outreach activity in line with project aims and agreed target regions.

2. Needs identification and support coordination

• Hold 1-to-1 conversations with adults with neuromuscular conditions and, where appropriate, family members or supporters, to identify practical needs relating to equipment, adaptations and wider day-to-day challenges.
• Provide initial information, signposting and relevant resources within agreed boundaries.
• Recognise when an issue would benefit from connection to a Pathfinders lived-experience specialist and facilitate that connection.
• Recognise when an issue requires statutory or clinical input and support onward referral or escalation where appropriate.
• Work with Pathfinders staff to help ensure people are connected to the most appropriate source of practical or professional support.

3. Working with lived-experience specialists and resource development

• Work with freelance lived-experience specialists to identify practical solutions, insights and examples relevant to the issues raised by service users.
• Support and encourage lived-experience specialists to share their expertise in accessible ways.
• Help coordinate and develop practical resources based on lived-experience knowledge, including short videos, blogs and written guidance.
• Contribute to ensuring these resources are accessible, organised and responsive to recurring needs identified through the service.

4. Documentation and evaluation support

• Maintain accurate records of outreach activity, contacts, needs identified, resources shared, onward connections and follow-up.
• Support the collection of routine feedback, including post-support forms and short follow-up conversations.
• Use agreed templates and systems to document contacts clearly and consistently.
• Share reflections and emerging themes with the team to support ongoing learning, evaluation and service development.

5. Teamworking and service development

• Participate in regular supervision, planning and reflective review meetings.
• Work collaboratively with the Chief Executive, Advocacy Officer, freelance lived-experience specialists and external partners.
• Contribute to the refinement of service processes, boundaries and referral pathways.
• Support dissemination of learning through briefings, webinars or other outputs as required.

• Regular travel across England is required, typically around once per week, with priority given to areas closest to the postholder’s base in the first instance. 
• Some travel may involve overnight stays.
• The postholder must have access to and use of a car for work purposes, although train travel may be used for some visits.

About the role
 
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to improving care for critically ill patients in the NHS and beyond. Our National Clinical Audits (NCAs) use accurate, complete and valid data to provide hospitals with reports, which benchmark them against their peers, for use in improving the quality of the care they provide. The ideal candidate will utilise their experience, knowledge and skills to make a significant impact across data processing and reporting.
 
You will work across our NCAs, including the Case Mix Programme (CMP), auditing adult critical care, and the National Cardiac Arrest Audit (NCAA), auditing resuscitation team response to in-hospital cardiac arrest. You will manage the participation of an allocation of units/hospitals, supporting audit staff in the collection, submission and processing of high-quality data, and running accurate reports to time and target.

It is essential that you have a proactive attitude, with excellent customer service skills and the ability to handle a large number of contacts. You must be able to communicate, both verbally and in writing, and adapt to different audiences with varied needs and skillsets. • Leave: We recognise our staff work hard and need the appropriate time out to stay motivated. You will ensure that employee records, systems, and processes are maintained to a high standard, working with the team and other colleagues to deliver a positive employee experience.

You will have administrative experience and knowledge of HR systems or other similar systems. This role offers a mix of office-based and home working, with two days per week in the office and the remainder worked remotely, the office is close to King Cross and Euston stations. We’re looking for a creative and organised Design Officer to join our Marketing team on a FTC until August 2027. This is an opportunity to play a key role in helping people recognise The National Lottery Community Fund and understand the difference our funding makes to communities across the UK.

Working closely with the Brand Manager and colleagues across Communications and Engagement, you’ll help create clear, accessible and engaging design materials for a wide range of channels. From templates, presentations and reports to campaign assets, event materials and branded guidance, your work will help us tell our story consistently and creatively.

This role would suit someone who has a flare for design and enjoys balancing hands-on design delivery with brand stewardship, working with different teams, managing varied briefs and finding practical creative solutions in a busy organisation.

You might start the day reviewing new design requests from colleagues, then spend time creating branded assets for a campaign, presentation, report or event. Later, you may be advising a team on how to apply our visual identity, updating a template, or working with an external designer to make sure commissioned work is on brand, accessible and delivered on time.

You’ll be expected to balance hands-on design delivery with brand guidance, helping colleagues produce communications that are clear, consistent and engaging.

 

Key responsibilities may include:

• Create high-quality design materials for internal and external communications, across print and digital channels.
• Manage and prioritise design requests, agreeing realistic timelines with colleagues.
• Support the Brand Manager in maintaining the consistency and integrity of the Fund’s visual identity.
• Provide practical design advice to teams across the UK, balancing brand consistency with creative flexibility.
• Design quick-turnaround assets in-house, including presentations, social media graphics, reports, event materials and branded documents.
• Brief and work with external designers, freelancers or suppliers where additional support is needed.
• Ensure design work is accessible, inclusive and appropriate for the intended audience.
• Work closely with communications, content and country teams to support integrated campaigns and projects.

We’re looking for someone with strong practical experience in graphic design, ideally with at least five years’ experience in a design role or similar creative environment. You’ll be confident creating high-quality design work across a range of formats, including digital, print, presentations, reports, social media, campaign materials and event assets.

You’ll need a good understanding of brand identity and be able to apply guidelines consistently while still bringing creative thinking and flexibility to your work. You should be comfortable managing multiple briefs, prioritising your workload and working to deadlines in a busy organisation.

The ideal candidate will have:

• At least five years’ experience in a graphic design role or similar creative background.
• A strong, up-to-date portfolio of design work that you are able to talk through.
• Experience creating materials for both digital and print channels.
• Good knowledge of design software and tools, such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva or similar.
• An understanding of accessibility and inclusive design principles.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to produce clear, polished and accurate work.
• Experience working with brand guidelines and maintaining visual consistency.
• Good communication skills, with the confidence to advise colleagues and respond constructively to feedback.
• The ability to manage competing deadlines and work with colleagues across different teams.
• Experience briefing or working with external designers, freelancers or suppliers would be helpful.
• This role can be based anywhere in the UK. You will be expected to travel at least once a month for team meetings, and occasional additional travel may be required to support projects, events or collaboration with colleagues.
• A relevant design qualification, certification or equivalent professional experience would be welcome, but we are most interested in your practical experience, portfolio and ability to create accessible, effective and brand-aligned design work.

We’re looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Urban Conservation Lead to lead our nature conservation work at Creekside. Working with staff, volunteers and partners, you’ll help protect and enhance urban habitats while strengthening connections between communities and local wildlife.

This is a strategic role in a small, committed team, coordinating conservation projects, managing funded programmes and supporting partnerships that help sustain our work and impact.

This is a part time role of 24.5 hours per week (3.5 days) and flexible working arrangements will be considered and discussed at interview. There will be some evening and weekend commitments for which TOIL is given.

Full Time Salary: £34,000 full‑time equivalent, pro rata. Other benefits include 22 days annual leave in addition to bank holidays and a Christmas closure period, and 3% employer pension contribution.
