Job Purpose:

The Fundraising Manager (Grants & Trusts) will be responsible for developing and implementing a successful fundraising strategy focused on trusts, foundations, and statutory grants. They will identify new funding opportunities, build relationships with funders, and write compelling applications that align with St Bride Foundation’s mission and strategic priorities.

This role is crucial in securing core funding, project-specific grants, and capital funding, enabling us to expand our heritage, learning, and community engagement programmes.

This role will be closely involved in projects that, under our new vision and mission, aim to transform SBF into a contemporary institute serving the creative industries, researchers and the wider public. The role will suit someone with a passion to take on challenges with the aim of creating a cultural hub fit for the 21st century.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Grant & Trust Fundraising

• Develop and implement a revenue and capital fundraising strategy, identifying compelling propositions and packages, and setting and securing agreed targets.
• Research and identify trusts, foundations, and grant opportunities aligned with our mission.
• Develop and manage a pipeline of funding prospects, ensuring a strategic and proactive approach to fundraising.
• Write and submit high-quality, compelling funding applications for core, project, and capital funding.
• Track and meet application deadlines, ensuring compliance with funder requirements.
• Work with the Board of Trustees to establish and manage a Fundraising Committee.

2. Relationship Management & Stewardship

• Build and maintain strong relationships with grant funders, trustees, and key stakeholders.
• Prepare engaging impact reports, updates, and presentations for funders.
• Ensure timely and effective stewardship and recognition of funders, increasing long-term support.
• Building internal relationships to developing an understanding of the work/projects and funding needs.

3. Strategy & Income Growth

• Develop and implement a trusts and grants fundraising strategy, setting targets and KPIs to maximise income.
• Work as part of the Senior Management Team to align funding applications with strategic priorities.
• Identify opportunities for multi-year funding and partnerships that provide sustainable income.

4. Compliance & Reporting

• Prepare regular reports on fundraising activities, including progress towards goals, donor acquisition, and retention rates.
• Ensure all grants and funding received are managed effectively, with clear budgeting and financial reporting.
• Maintain up-to-date records of applications, funding received, and reporting deadlines.
• Work collaboratively with the Senior Management team to ensure effective grant delivery and reporting.

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

• Several years of proven experience in trusts and grants fundraising, with a track record of securing funding from foundations, trusts, and statutory bodies.
• Strong research and prospecting skills, identifying the right funders for key projects.
• Excellent writing and communication skills, able to create compelling grant applications and reports.
• Experience in relationship management, with the ability to engage funders and maintain long-term partnerships.
• Ability to manage multiple applications and deadlines simultaneously.
• Strong understanding of budgeting and financial reporting for grant-funded projects.
• Knowledge of the charity sector and fundraising best practices.
• Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a small team.

• Experience securing capital or heritage funding (e.g., National Lottery Heritage Fund).

About the role

The Group Work Facilitator will play a pivotal role in delivering the CouRAGEus Project, an initiative designed to support Black and Global Majority young women, LGBTQ+ youth, and disabled young people. The role involves facilitating safe, inclusive, and empowering group work sessions that foster emotional resilience, healthy relationships, and self-advocacy.

The Facilitator will provide a trauma-informed, culturally responsive space where participants can explore issues such as mental health, well-being, consent, and social justice. The RJP is to provide independent assurance that the work of racial justice is being carried out effectively by the Church, in accordance with agreed plans and wider best practice.

The RJP Panel, albeit a critical friend, maintains its independence, offering rigorous scrutiny and challenge to the Church in its work on racial justice including examining progress against strategic and delivery plans. It shall produce an annual report to be laid before the General Synod. 

The RJP are looking to appoint an experienced independent Chair who will provide excellent leadership, direction and independent scrutiny and challenge to the Church of England and bring external expertise from holding a highly senior role.

They will be able to demonstrate how they have researched and negotiated partnerships and/or submitted funding applications, providing excellent stewardship and creating meaningful partnerships that lead to long term support and therefore sustainable income.

Essential

• Experience of creating and delivering a High Value strategy
• Experience of the full fundraising pipeline, including researching, cultivating and securing multi-year 5 or 6 figure donations from Trusts, Foundations or Corporate Partnerships (experience of both income streams a plus)
• Excellent relationship building skills up to a senior level
• Ability to project manage the delivery of partnerships including impact reporting
• Experience working in a CRM and analysing data to inform decision-making (Microsoft Dynamics experience a plus)
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
• Able to collaborate with a team of various disciplines or work independently as required
• Enthusiasm for the issues we work on

Desirable

• Line management or mentoring experience
• Working understanding of admin processes relating to fundraising
• The ability to demonstrate a commercial mindset
• An understanding of GDPR in relation to fundraising

We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Administrator to support the smooth running of our Programmes and Operations. This role is essential in ensuring that our logistics, partnerships, and communications run efficiently, allowing us to reach and support more young people. You will work closely with suppliers, referrers, and our internal team to coordinate key aspects of our programmes.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Programme & Operations Support

• Support the coordination of OSH’s residentials, events, and programmes, ensuring logistics run smoothly.

• Arrange bookings (e.g. facilitators, venues, catering, transport) to ensure contracts and payments are managed efficiently.

• Assist in staff recruitment and volunteer management with recruitment, interview scheduling, onboarding, inductions, organising meetings and receiving feedback.

• Manage resources in our lock up (based in Hornsey)

Administrative & Organisational Support

• Maintain accurate records, databases, and documentation to ensure compliance and efficiency.

• Handle general inquiries via email and phone, acting as a key point of contact for external stakeholders.

• Support the team with minute-taking in meetings.

Partnerships & Referrals

• Communicate with referrers (such as youth groups, schools, social workers, and community organisations) to ensure young people are referred and engaged in our programmes.

• Support with phoning participants and referrers to support them to complete sign up forms where necessary

• Track and monitor referral processes, ensuring smooth communication and follow-ups with referrers to maximise participation at our events

• Maintain good relationships with external partners such as venues, facilitators, transport companies and other organisations we work with. 

Finance & Compliance Support

• Assist with financial administration, such as processing invoices, logging donations, and tracking expenses.

• Ensure OSH meets data protection and safeguarding requirements, keeping records up to date.

Other duties

• Getting involved in OSH events in the evenings and at weekends, including residentials. These are overnight trips from 2 to 5 nights

IDEAL EXPERIENCE

• Strong organisational and administrative skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks.

• Experience in the charity, youth, or refugee/migrant sector.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Confident in communicating with external partners, suppliers, and stakeholders.

• Proactive, with the ability to take initiative and problem-solve.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining records.

• IT proficient, including experience with email, spreadsheets, and document management.

• Knowledge of financial administration (e.g. processing invoices).

• Understanding of and commitment to data protection principles and maintaining confidentiality. 

• Ability to speak in other languages relevant to our community, including Arabic, Pashto, Farsi, Tigrinya, Amharic, and Oromo.

We are looking for a driven, ambitious and motivated fundraiser to join Rambert School.

They will work closely with the Head of Development and will generate the School’s philanthropic revenue from both existing and new sources, with a focus on Trusts and Foundations, primarily for student scholarships and bursaries, capital projects, and academic and creative initiatives.

The Sanctuary (Crisis Café) is a service for all residents experiencing emotional distress. The café is weekdays during the evening and at weekends in the afternoon. We provide initial support meetings both face to face and via the telephone, workign with clients to resolve immediate distress, and explore coping mechanisms. We then coproduce support plans with clients and offer 121’s, counselling, peer support groups and workshops as well as a social place to be.  

The support worker will be experienced in working with people in distress or who have mental health issues, highly organised and have excellent people skills.  

Mind in Enfield and Barnet is a fast-growing charity in North London providing much needed therapy, wellbeing support and advocacy services to people with mental health problems. 

An exciting opportunity has arisen for two Community Care Coordinators to support some of our most vulnerable users of emergency services. These roles have been developed to further support our service users alongside our statutory partners at North Middlesex NHS Foundation Trust Emergency Department, to increase their wellbeing, confidence, social integration, and independence.

The successful candidates will be responsible for working with service users during periods of crisis and support them through their journey of recovery to ensure that they are receiving the support most beneficial to them. This will be achieved through a person-centred approach to ensure that the views of service users are central to the planned support they receive.

The successful candidates will take a lead in working with service users to assess needs/barriers preventing clients from recovery, working with them to create a personal action plan, and monitoring and evaluating outcomes and progress.

Independence will be encouraged through self-management and recovery.

The roles will involve working in the community and with the wider team as well as our partner organisation North Middlesex NHS Foundation Trust Emergency Department to ensure that the community is kept up to date with the services that we are offering and the strong reputation of Mind in Haringey as a leading provider of mental health services in the borough is maintained.

This is a part-time position (20 hours per week), between the service hours of 9am-5pm (Monday-Friday)

About the Service

This service sits within our Complex Needs and Community Services and are informal drop-in group for Refugees and Asylum Seekers. The groups centre on improving the emotional wellbeing and mental health of refugees and asylum seekers, providing these individuals with a safe space to connect with peers. To help these individuals engage with diverse creative activities and develop their confidence and self-esteem whilst helping them integrate into Hertfordshire and the UK.

Service Objectives

• To provide advice, information, onward referral and holistic support to clients with mental ill health.
• Support to build social networks and reduce isolation whilst settling into the Hertfordshire community this includes building a sustainable and empowering peer support network and building confidence and self-esteem.
• To ensure that the safety and wellbeing of the client is monitored and reviewed regularly.
• To remain a source of independent support for all clients.
• Embed a person centred and solution focused approach in all aspects of the role.
• To work in a trauma informed way including awareness of the 6 principles of trauma informed practice, putting the clients emotional and practical needs at the forefront of this work.

Key Responsibilities:

• The purpose of this post is to promote and facilitate our Flourish peer support groups.
• To play an integral role in instilling HMN’s values through the Flourish refugee and asylum seeker service.
• Promoting and facilitating the Flourish groups
• To work as a team.
• To play a key part in the development and delivery of quality of support services.
• Planning and preparing for each weekly session, establishing the session aims, materials required and anticipated outcomes for people attending.
• Ensuring refugees and asylum seekers feel safe and supported within the group.
• Ensuring diversity across weekly sessions for service-users. 
• Liaising with translators and booking them where required to meet the needs of the groups.
