As Associate Director of Fundraising Strategy and Performance, you’ll work closely with teams across Development and stakeholders in Gardens, Science and Marketing & Commercial Enterprise to align goals, develop compelling fundraising propositions, and enable performance-driven decision making. Additionally, you will lead the implementation of the Directorate’s strategic plan, manage one team member, and play an active role in the Senior Management Team.

We are looking for a motivated major gifts fundraiser to join our small fundraising team to support our ambitious goal to raise £20 million in support of the Be the Spark campaign.

This role is perfect for a collaborative self-starter who wants to make an impact, working at all levels of the organisation to maximise the relationships that will enable the Ri to succeed. You will be used to managing a portfolio of donors or high value clients and be comfortable working with donors at the highest levels.

About the role

As Trusts Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving the growth of Crisis’ income from charitable trusts, foundations, and lottery funders. This is a relationship-driven role that blends strategic planning with hands-on delivery. You’ll produce persuasive proposals and reports, developing strong relationships with funders and trustees, and collaborating across Crisis to communicate our impact through compelling cases for support. You’ll also manage a healthy prospect pipeline - driving forward new relationships while ensuring the team meets its income targets and continues to grow its supporter base.

Job Purpose
The Head of Community will work with the Director of Services on strategic and operational planning and provide operational leadership for the range of Community services delivered by Age UK East London.

The purpose of this role is to:

• Take responsibility for the delivery of Age UK East London’s Community Service offer, ensuring its delivery requirements are met and we are responsive to new opportunities.
• Ensure that older people who are supported by the Community team also benefit from the range of AUKEL services and those provided by other local partners.
• Be an active member of our SLT, working with senior leaders across AUKEL, contributing your experience and expertise to problem solve, spot and develop opportunities as well as make an impact on our overall organisational development
journey.
• Build responsive and accountable relationships with a wide range of stakeholders including commissioners, partner providers, senior health and social care professionals.
• Motivate and inspire a frontline staff and volunteer team, using excellent communication skills and a strong understanding of key issues affecting older people.
• Ensure the services are meeting all KPI’s for quality and delivery, overseeing data management and analysis to ensure compliance and insight that supports future development and demonstration of impact, taking a continuous improvement
approach.
• Ensure service staffing and delivery arrangements are optimal, including by assessing which services need allocated staff and which would be better delivered by a central team.
• Ensuring processes and good practice is embedded in case recording, reporting and data collection.

Key Tasks

Coordination and Management of service

• Line manage service managers and coordinators, and oversee the good management of all service staff.
• Ensure services are delivered in line with contractual requirements

• Ensure the team is fully conversant with the organisation’s CRM and that this is used effectively to record and manage casework and evidence of outcomes and impact of the service

This new role will support the fundraising team, working closely with the Head of Fundraising, to provide full administrative support across all functions of the department. We are looking for someone committed to making a difference to our work and interested in developing a career in fundraising. Commercial Financial Accountant

Are you an experienced financial professional? Pilgrims' Friend Society is expanding, and we need a Commercial Financial Accountant to work across the organisation with a Commercial mindset while aiming to achieve charitable impact. Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Commercial Financial Accountant will be responsible for managing and completing relevant projects.

Our focus is providing a loving and caring environment for our “family members” (our residents) and maintaining the Christian ethos that is important to many of them.

• Growth and renewal plans
• Organisation Governance which will involve Company and Charity governance including projects that simplify the group structure

This role is available on a permanent contract and part time basis (25 or 30 hours a week). The salary range is between £35,000-£40,000 FTE. This is a predominately office-based role, where you will attend the charity’s office in Redbridge (on the Essex/London border), with the opportunity to work from home 1 day a week. The charity is set in a beautiful 5 acre woodland on the edge of a park.
 
Within this Senior Finance Officer role, you will oversee all aspects of the charity’s financial operations and support with strategic decision making.
 
This key role involves managing financial systems (including Sage), processing income and expenditure, preparing monthly management accounts, and supporting with the annual audit process. You will monitor budgets, forecasts, and fund allocations, while ensuring compliance with charity and tax regulations. The role also includes preparing financial reports for Senior Management, Trustees, and Funders, supporting grant and restricted fund administration, and collaborating with the Fundraising and Office Admin teams on payroll, reporting, and financial planning. You’ll also help continuously improve financial procedures and reduce financial risk for the organisation.
 
To be successful in this role, you will be AAT qualified or part-qualified ACCA/CIMA or have equivalent finance qualification. You will have experience in a similar finance role, ideally in the charity or non-profit sector.
 
You will have experience in supporting financial reporting for externally funded projects, preparing charity accounts. You will have an understanding of charity finance, including restricted/unrestricted funds, knowledge of SORP, and charity accounting standards. You will have a strong attention to detail, and confidence in analysing and presenting financial data.
 
You will also have experience using Sage accounting system and Microsoft Excel. You will have excellent communication skills and ability to develop/maintain relationships with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels. You will also have the ability to manage time wisely and work to deadlines.
