The Marketing & Communications team is crucial to the success of the Almeida’s ambitious vision and the strategic priorities for the team include:

• Build and manage the brand of the Almeida Theatre across London, the UK and internationally.

Key Responsibilities:
CRM:

• Lead on management of Almeida’s central CRM database, Tessitura, and act as principal point of contact with Tessitura for all system maintenance, development, and upgrades.
• Work closely with the Marketing and Development teams to maximise the use of our CRM systems and ensure they are fit for purpose and align with the goals of the organisation.
• Ensure the CRM provides an effective sales funnel and is an efficient sales process.
• Work with the Box Office Manager to set up on-sales for new productions and events.
• Update the information and content in TNEW (online booking system), working Box Office Manager to ensure a smooth sales path.

The Policy and Campaigns Officer will develop policy positions and campaigns that will help ensure that the needs, rights and priorities of those living with DMD are understood and acted on by decision makers, policy makers, parliament and government. Job Description

• To ensure that the charity’s policy and campaigning work is firmly grounded in the views and experiences of the DMD community and to ensure that they are consulted and involved in the development (and delivery where appropriate) of Duchenne UK’s policy positions and campaigns.

• matters relating to business registrants other than matters required by the Opticians Act to be referred to the Investigation Committee, the Registration Appeals, Committee or the Fitness to Practise Committee;

Time Commitment and Remuneration 

This role is part time with a commitment of approximately 2-3 days per year, including time spent preparing for meetings.  Meetings will usually take place via MS Teams but may on occasion be held at the GOC Offices in London or other suitable venues.

A daily fee of £319 will be paid. This is in line with our member fees policy and member fee schedule.  This is taxable and subject to Class 1 National Insurance (NI) contributions. It is not pensionable.

Members can claim expenses for travel and subsistence costs incurred on Council business as set out in our expenses policy.

This is a full-time role responsible for:

• Bookkeeping, and journal entries (accounting)
• Oversee weekly payroll – check rota, then check payroll with support of external payroll provider
• Bank reconciliations on Xero
• Manage posting of cash & card payments on Xero
• Credit control
• Code purchase invoices on Hubdoc
• Manage collection and storage of invoices
• Set up and maintain system to track some donation types
• HR – administer HR system
• Health and Safety – administer the H&S system
• Handle customer queries and invoice amendments
• Other general support for the organisation suitable for the skills of the role holder

Qualifications and experience (necessary) 

• Bookkeeping and Accounting Software skills
• Experience of Xero (min 2 years)
• Experience in working in a Finance role (min 2 years) 
• Attention to detail and organisational skills is a must
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Knowledge of accounting principles and regulations
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software

Experienced in dog rescue and leading a dedicated team? We are looking for an experienced Rescue Manager to join our kennel-free rescue.

Dogs 4 Rescue is the UK’s pioneering kennel-free rescue leading the rescue revolution. From humble beginnings to a multi-site operation we are leading change in our industry running a model which is far more complex than a traditional kennels.

We are looking to expand our team, so have created a new role. This is going to encompass looking after our team of dog-handlers to ensure that the whole operation works as efficiently and effectively as possible, and gives the dogs their very best lives.

Whilst this is primarily a people managing role, you will need to be comfortable around the dogs, and have experience working in dog rescue – kennel-free or kennels based.

As the role is new it can be adapted to the strengths of the successful applicant, and will evolve over time.

It is primarily a practical role, being out with the team and supervising / supporting them in their daily duties, but will also involve the inevitable paperwork that goes with management. You will be involved with logging what’s just happened, planning for what’s going to happen, and ensuring that all other stuff that needs to happen, happens…

We are seeking a flexible, reliable, and enthusiastic Support Worker to deliver and develop services for Young Carers aged 5–16. The role involves three key parts. The first is delivering engaging, age-appropriate activities that promote wellbeing, reduce isolation, and give Young Carers a break from their responsibilities. The second is providing one-to-one support to help Young Carers manage challenges, access services, and prioritise their mental and emotional wellbeing. The third is leading outreach to identify and engage hidden Young Carers. 

About The Role: 

You will work across two key age groups, 5–11 and 12–16, delivering and supervising activities, supporting events and trips, and providing behavioural management where needed. Alongside group activities, you will offer one-to-one support to individual Young Carers, ensuring they feel heard, included, and supported as they navigate the challenges of their caring roles. You will also deliver awareness training sessions, run stalls, and build partnerships in the community to identify and engage Young Carers. 

This is a part-time post (3 days per week). The regular days will be Wednesday - Friday, However flexibility is required, with regular evening and occasional weekend work.

• Experience working with children, young people, or vulnerable groups

About This Job

As Fundraising Assistant at sister charities, ACCT UK and CCFA, you will play a key role in the growth of existing fundraising and in the creation of new income streams. Stewarding fundraisers, helping to develop new and existing fundraising campaigns, building relationships internally within the cadet organisations and externally with Trusts and Foundations, corporates and major givers. You will provide administrative and operational support, including maintaining the fundraising database. Working closely with the rest of the Development team and in particular the Marketing department to ensure that both charities can provide increasing financial support to cadets and adult volunteers across the UK.
