Responsibilities of our Community Fundraising Officer:

• This role supports the delivery, growth and reach of community fundraising in a defined geographical location and supports the development and delivery of a local fundraising strategy in line with the organisation’s broader income generation objectives.
• The Community Fundraising Officer will establish, implement, develop and maximize all community fundraising opportunities, increase income, deliver exceptional supporter stewardship and exemplary volunteer management, working collaboratively with the Community Fundraising Hub Manager and Community Fundraising Volunteer Team Leader to build on past successes and develop a diverse pipeline of community fundraising events and activities that respond to local audience needs.
• The role will also build and develop exceptional fundraising relationships with supporters and volunteers within the defined geographical location to harness the power of our local footprint and raise income and awareness

About the Department/Role

This role as The Bishop's PA reports to the Bishop of Guildford, but will report functionally to the Bishop's Chaplain who is ensuring the bishop's office is running smoothly during an interim period.

Your role will be to provide tailored accommodation support to women under probation supervision in the community, helping them to find and keep a home and reintegrate into their local communities. You will collaborate closely with the women’s key worker and Service Users to develop plans using a strengths – based approach to help them achieve their goals and reach their full potential. The caseload will fluctuate and service users levels of need will vary.

About You

You will have considerable experience and knowledge of housing law, debt advice and the main issues relating to homelessness and criminal justice for women with multiple and complex needs. You have experience of delivering services for women, advocacy to external stakeholders on behalf of clients, managing caseload and ideally, working in a criminal justice setting.

Our Someone Like Me peer support service ensures nobody has to face breast cancer alone. We match people affected by primary breast cancer, as well as their family and friends and those who have inherited an increased genetic risk of developing the disease, with a trained volunteer who’s had a similar experience and can offer support by telephone or email.

In this role, you’ll contribute to service delivery through sensitively and efficiently arranging Someone Like Me calls, whilst working with the Services Manager, Someone Like Me, to coordinate day-to-day management of the service. This will include managing a small number of staff members. You’ll also be involved in organising the recruitment, training, and support of volunteers involved in the delivery of the service.

About you

You’ll be passionate about supporting people affected by breast cancer and helping us to improve the support we provide.

You’ll combine excellent organisational, prioritising and communication skills with the ability to work well with people who may be experiencing high levels of distress. You’ll also have experience of managing staff or volunteers, be supportive and motivated to helping us achieve our aims of supporting people affected by breast cancer.

The Chief Operating Officer (COO) will be a key member of HCPT’s Senior Leadership Team, responsible for the effective delivery and high performance of all operational and business support aspects of the charity’s work. This includes oversight of the quality and efficiency aspects of all that we do in planning and execution of pilgrimages, safeguarding, compliance, finance, HR, and infrastructure. The COO will ensure that HCPT’s operations are safe, efficient, and aligned with our Catholic ethos and mission of inclusion and care, and that our performance is optimised to deliver excellence, which is:  THE BEST pilgrimage experience we can offer as defined and measured by our beneficiaries and volunteers.

This is a senior role in volunteer-led organisation and as such the successful postholder will be required to exercise flexibility with evening and weekend work to meet the business needs of the charity, given the availability of our volunteer leaders who have professional commitments during the day.

The Membership Engagement Officer (MEO) is a key role which inspires and engages our membership to be active and fulfil their role and purpose while remaining compliant with the Legion’s Membership handbook and policies. Every day will be different as this role will see you responding to the needs of the individual county of responsibility. It is a challenging and exciting post where no two days will be the same.

You will provide organisational support, advice and information to our members, and work closely with County Committees, the membership central team staff and other departments.  This a varied role which covers a range of duties from connecting and building relationships with Branches to compliance oversight and responding to membership queries.

You will be contracted to your home address. You will be expected to work both there and on a mobile basis at other locations in Devon and the Southwest Region with occasional travel (incl. for monthly team meetings) beyond this area.

This role is a Fixed Term Contract covering internal secondment, until July 2026.

Some evening and weekend work will be required, including an occasional requirement for some overnight stays.

The successful individual is not permitted to hold a membership officer role in their designated area of work and must hold a full UK driving licence.

Given the responsibilities associated with the role, it is a requirement that you live within reasonable distance of the designated area of responsibility.

About the role:

This role is based in Staffordshire (we have an office in Stafford or Stoke). The caseworker will work directly with children and young people across the area; with hybrid working an option after the 6 month probationary period.

As a CYP DA Practitioner you will be:

• Working directly and indirectly with children and young people
• Delivering services mostly through education establishments
• Working within a wider DA service for the whole family approach

You will need:

• Good communication skills
• An ability to engage, build rapport and motivate young people
• Good understanding of domestic abuse and its impact on young people
