Individual Giving Officer

We are looking for an Individual Giving Officer to join an ambitious and highly motivated team responsible for delivering an ambitious and growing Individual Fundraising programme.

Position: 000022 Individual Giving Officer

Location: Home-based, UK, Nationwide. However, occasional travel will be required as part of this role (may include team meetings or other work-related meetings) 

Hours: Full-time, 35 hours per week

Salary: Circa £35,600 per annum (inner London weighting £3,950 per annum or outer London weighting £2,457 per annum may be applied in accordance with where you live)

The Role

Working alongside other officers, you will report to either the Individual Giving Lead responsible for our cause-related products or the Individual Giving Lead responsible for our gaming products. Due to the demands of the role we are looking for someone with a willingness to work flexibly with regard to working patterns when required, to support the needs of the team and the ongoing success of the programme.

You’ll be:

• Using your fundraising and marketing experience and skills to create successful campaigns and complex supporter journeys to help us grow our income and supporter engagement. (Working collaboratively with our Digital and Social Teams, as well as external media agencies).
• Helping deliver on our multi million annual plans to retain and recruit new supporters using the most effective techniques and channels, including Face to Face.
• Enthusiastically managing and delivering a range of fundraising and engagement campaigns and communications to develop and maximise support from our loyal supporters via multiple channels, including telephone, mail, digital, and SMS.
• Comfortable with figures and spreadsheets, as you’ll be diving into the data and managing campaign costs.
• Responsible for maintaining and reporting accurate campaign results and  reviews.
• Always looking out for new opportunities, using our sprint pipeline methodology (testing, solving, learning from experiments) before scaling.
• Ensuring our campaigns are fully compliant at all times.

About You

We’re looking for an individual who:

• Has great experience and knowledge of fundraising, direct marketing and project management, and can bring a real enthusiasm to the team. This role has a specific focus around supporter acquisition which includes face to face, paid digital, direct mail, telemarketing and eMarketing.
• Is fantastic at organising and prioritising a busy workload and knowledgeable of project management. Loves attention to detail and can work on several projects at once whilst thinking outside the box, as things can change quickly!
• Loves data and insight and enjoys applying that insight to campaign testing.
• Is a great all-round communicator, with both internal and external audiences.

About the role: 

A front door is not the finish line. For people moving on from rough sleeping, accommodation can be the first real point of safety in years — but keeping it, trusting support and preparing for independent housing takes skill, patience and persistence.

As Lead Support Worker in our Rough Sleeping Accommodation Programme, you will support people accepted into RSAP move on accommodation to settle, sustain their tenancy and build the confidence, skills and connections they need to move forward. You will work with people who may be navigating trauma, poor mental health, substance use, offending histories, isolation or long periods of exclusion from services, offering support that is practical, consistent and rooted in their strengths.

You will take a lead role in referrals and assessments, develop high quality support and risk management plans, and work closely with housing, health, social care, criminal justice, substance use, mental health and community partners. From helping someone manage rent, bills and repairs, to advocating when systems become a barrier, you will be part of turning accommodation into a stable platform for longer term independence.

This is a role for someone who can combine warmth with tenacity. You will need to build trust, hold boundaries, stay calm when progress is uneven, and bring creative energy to complex situations. Role Purpose

The Relationship Fundraiser will support the Philanthropy Manager to secure and increase income through the charity’s Philanthropy strategy.

The post holder will support with developing a robust pipeline of prospects and will be responsible for managing a portfolio of new and existing major donor relationships. You will be creative and analytical and provide first class research, administration, relationship management and database skills and provide excellent donor stewardship.

About the Role

The role of the Senior Manager, High Value Events is to lead the planning and execution of high value fundraising and engagement events.
