About the role
The Trusts and Foundations Advisor works strategically within the Partnerships and Business Development team to maximise impact and income by building high value partnerships and securing five, six and seven figure grants.
You will be responsible for building new relationships with prospect donors as well as providing exceptional stewardship of existing donors, and will collaborate closely with other teams in the wider division to create excellent proposals.
You will be expected to develop a strong pipeline of highly engaged Trusts and Foundation Funders committing to multi-year pledges to maximise income and impact, and build relationships based on trust and openness using the support of senior staff and Multi-Country Cluster based colleagues.
You will work collaboratively within the team and beyond, sharing expertise and ideas to create strong cultivation plans and proposals, and you will be expected to think critically about existing processes, aiming to create, adapt and deliver innovative ideas, initiatives and networks to secure impactful and meaningful support for Christian Aid’s programmes.
You will develop relationships with potential donors and partners and represent Christian Aid at appropriate networking events such as conferences and external meetings.
About you
We are looking for a confident fundraiser with significant experience of securing five and six figure gifts from Trusts and Foundations. You will demonstrate a clear understanding understanding of the Trusts and Foundations landscape and market trends, and will be able to employ a wide range of Trusts and Foundations fundraising approaches and strategies.
As a fundraiser, you will have significant experience of responding to the requirements and demands of funders, and demonstrable experience of producing in-depth, motivating and inspiring proposals and funding reports.
You will be able to demonstrate highly developed negotiation and influencing skills, and demonstrable experience of successful networking with internal and external senior stakeholders.
You will be able to demonstrate exceptional written and verbal communication skills across your work.

The charity supports people bereaved by gambling-related suicide, raises awareness of the devastating consequences of gambling disorder, and works to prevent gambling-related suicide. They are now recruiting for a Specialist Family Support Manager, a pivotal position for the organisation that will deliver evidence-based therapeutic support for bereaved families. This is a permanent, full-time role that will be based remotely (although travel will often be required due to service needs). As Specialist Family Support Manager, you will work as part of a dedicated, tight-knit team, delivering tailored, therapeutic interventions to families bereaved by gambling-related suicide. You will build consistent, compassionate relationships with families, supporting them to navigate investigations, inquests or research processes linked to gambling harms, ensuring they feel informed, represented and supported. You will ensure that all clinical practice adheres to safeguarding, risk management and professional standards, maintaining accurate and confidential records. You will also work across the wider organisation, providing clinical input into the design of training modules (including training for NHS clinicians and social care professionals) to raise awareness of gambling-related suicide.

What the job involves
Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in men and it’s harming too many lives. At Prostate Cancer UK, one of our top priorities is funding research that leads to real change. It’s vital we do our best to make sure this research makes a meaningful difference to men’s lives, and that’s where you come in.
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Senior Research Officer to help us deliver our funding schemes and patient and public involvement work. This role sits in the Research Funding Team and will provide us with additional support during an exciting time while we implement a new grants management system. You’ll work across all our grant funding schemes, ensuring we are following best practise in research funding.
You’ll take responsibility for a small portfolio of active research grants, providing support and guidance to the researchers leading them. You’ll be a main point of contact for grant applicants, supporting them as they apply to us and will be responsible for running peer review. Using your understanding of research funding and administration, you’ll help make sure our funding schemes run smoothly and to time. You’ll work with colleagues to support patient and public involvement in research both in our review process and through our Patient Representative Network who help researchers make sure their work is focussed on the needs of men with prostate cancer.
This role is a fixed term to cover an internal secondment for 12 months.
What we want from you
We’re looking for a Senior Research Officer who is passionate about research and has a desire to develop knowledge of prostate cancer. You’ll hold a biomedical degree (or a degree in a related subject), or with equivalent experience gained in research funding, administration or the wider research sector.
You’ll already have a good grasp of how grant funding works and, ideally, some experience of research administration and peer review. Confidence in interpreting complex scientific information is important, as you’ll be using this knowledge to find the right people to peer review the grant applications that are submitted to our schemes.
You're also an accurate record keeper with a keen eye for detail and excellent time management skills. You're assured and clear in your communication, both written and verbal, and you're able to respond to a wide range of inquiries from researchers while always adhering to data protection and confidentiality best practices. Experience of using Symplectic’s Grant Tracker would be an advantage but is not essential.

We’re excited to be recruiting for a Production Manager (Maternity Cover) to join our Content & Editorial Team, within the Brand, Campaigns and Communications Dept at WWF-UK.
In this pivotal role, you’ll lead on production services across a wide range of multimedia content including video, photography, infographics, and animation. You’ll manage UK and overseas productions, oversee budgets and contracts, and ensure all content is produced safely, efficiently, and to the highest professional standards. You will line manage the Post-Production Technical Manager role, supporting - priority setting, work planning, stakeholder engagement/negotiation, as well as pastoral care and professional development.
You’ll bring the following skills and experience, helping us drive forward our mission to restore nature and tackle climate change.
· Proven experience and excellent track record in Production Management, working within the Creative Industries, Media or NGO sectors.

JOB PURPOSE
Start Network staff travel extensively to low, moderate and high-risk countries and the Travel and Security Advisor will play a crucial role in helping the organisation to fulfil its duty of care obligations to its staff. The Travel and Security Advisor will proactively assist and advise Start Network staff throughout the travel process and liaise with external parties such as UK-based security consultants, the organisation’s insurance broker and overseas Host security personnel.
As the in-house specialist in this area, the Travel and Security Advisor will lead on the development and implementation of tools and frameworks that support staff in navigating security and risk, particularly as we continue to grow as an organisation. They will be responsible for ensuring that staff and other stakeholders are clear about Start Network’s travel and security management policies and processes.
This is not a 9-5 role and the postholder will be expected to work unsocial hours and weekends at times on a Rota basis to accommodate time zone differences and travel itineraries.

The Royal School of Needlework (RSN) is the go to place for the art of hand embroidery. Based at the historic Hampton Court Palace, we offer a range of courses, from leisure classes to degree-level education, and are home to the renowned RSN Embroidery Studio. Our mission is to keep the art of hand embroidery alive and thriving through education, innovation, and heritage.
Fragile Threads has been generously funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund, with thanks to National Lottery Players. It is a multi-stranded and innovative, narrative-led programme exploring biodiversity loss, textile heritage, and cultural expression through embroidery. With multiple partners, community engagement projects, and a major public exhibition planned for 2027, this is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passionate interest in culture and creativity, particularly in the applied arts.
You’ll be key to delivering the Fragile Threads corporate development income strategy, identifying and driving vital new business as well retaining longer term support from priority sectors. To achieve this, you’ll need to find innovative ways to engage organisations and identify opportunities to maximise income from the relevant sectors
Key Responsibilities:
Identifying and approaching potential corporate partners
Work closely with the Fragile Threads Project Lead and the RSN Fundraising Team to:
- Identify, research and deliver a pipeline of targeted new business that delivers maximum impact for Fragile Threads, particularly the exhibition, whilst meeting the RSN’s organisational objectives
- Work with senior external stakeholders to deliver effective stakeholder engagement plans, leveraging internal relationships where needed to increase partner commitment and visibility
- Create compelling and persuasive and audience-tailored partnership propositions / proposals
- Research, shape and deliver tailored partnership proposals and presentations to potential collaborators, including corporate partners, funders and creative contributors, drawing on an understanding of client and audience needs and project priorities.
- Liaise with the RSN Fundraising Team to ensure consistency across the organisation in approaches to potential corporates.
- Excellent networking and relationship building skills.
- Bring an understanding and enthusiasm for arts, craft, and design particularly in heritage or textile-related contexts and reflect this in the way the project is communicated and developed.

Project development

- Help identify potential funding sources and contribute to proposals and applications.
- Help shape and support team members to produce written and visual assets such as creative briefs, case studies, project packs, microsite content, and social media material.
- Track expenditure and resources in collaboration with the Project Lead and Project Manager ensuring that project activity stays on track and within scope.
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date tracking of partnerships and communications.
- Maintain accurate, up to date supporter records and data on the CRM system and any relevant pipeline management tools, for analysis and reporting purposes.
- Maintain clear records and contribute to evaluation outputs for internal and external review, and legacy purposes
Person Specification
