Responsibilities

· Develop and maintain training materials, including manuals, eLearning modules, and instructional videos, ensuring they reflect the latest system updates and compliance requirements.

· Schedule and manage training sessions effectively to maximise participant engagement and learning outcomes.

· Deliver training sessions to a diverse audience nationwide using various methodologies such as in-person workshops, webinars, and self-paced online courses.

· Foster a knowledge-sharing community among users to encourage collaboration and problem-solving.

· Undertake any other tasks as required to support the digital projects team and training initiatives.

Location: Based in Lewisham, across various homes, hospitals, wards, and supported living accommodations

Salary: £27,000

Shift Pattern:  37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 09:00 - 17:00. Please note that this is a 12 month fixed term contract.

About the role

This role is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting those who struggle with complex needs, substance use, and dual diagnosis. We are looking for someone who can work flexibly to support residents and participants who struggle to engage with the support available to them through various providers. You will be at the heart of engaging our participants to regain motivation and the strength to step down from acute psychiatric wards and other supported living, by empowering them with the relevant skills and knowledge to support their journey. You will support them towards achieving their personal goals including independent living. You will be based across various homes, hospitals, wards, and supported living accommodations based around Lewisham.

You will provide pathways, support, and appropriate interventions that will enable successful resettlements, and deliver to achieve more safer, integrated communities for our stakeholders. The areas of support will include: Prevention, Transition, Activities of Daily Living (ADL), Support, and Social Inclusion. 

This role will work alongside South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust (SLAM) who provide the widest range of NHS mental health services in the UK. They also provide substance misuse services for people who are addicted to drugs and alcohol with 4,600 staff serving a local population of 1.3 million people.

• Support a caseload of participants, contribute to the development of support plans, risk assessments and reviews.
• Positively promote the pathways available towards independent living within the community. Ensure participants understand what tools and resources are available to them to regain independence.
• Participate in, and encourage R&Ps to participate in the running and development of projects, initiatives, training and volunteering.
• Recognise signs of deteriorating mental health and initiate appropriate interventions to prevent a crisis.
• You may need to attend external appointments when required.
• Admin duties will vary, this includes maintaining confidential records in a timely manner using

About the role 

Mission Without Borders is seeking an experienced Salesforce Support Specialist to focus on three key areas; Salesforce Administration, training, and process documentation. 

As a Salesforce expert and product champion, the post holder will work closely with our existing Salesforce Support Specialist to be the first point of contact for Salesforce support and training across all staff in all 18 countries. They will triage incoming tickets, provide support, fix problems, make configuration changes, and work closely with our Salesforce Developer and Product Owner to manage change requests. 

With significant stakeholder engagement, they will help to develop a staff training programme for all countries and deliver both routine and ad-hoc training for new employees, new processes, feature changes, and upgrades. 

Process documentation will need to be created for new, modified, and existing Salesforce/business processes along with details of third-party integrations and submitted change requests. 

The role sits within the International Salesforce team, led by the Salesforce Developer and Product Owner. The team’s purpose is to be guardians of the organisations data and processes, supporting the rollout, maintenance, and extension, of our Salesforce platform and services. The Salesforce Developer and Product Owner reports to the International Chief Information Officer (CIO), who is responsible for leading MWB’s digital transformation and ensuring the successful implementation of several new digital, IT, and Salesforce initiatives. 

Who we are looking for

About the role

Big Green Heart is looking for a trainer to help expand our practitioner base. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with teaching experience to use their professional skills in the charity sector in the vitally important area of mental health. Accredited practitioners may charge for their own practice, working with individuals or in partnership with schools, churches, and community projects. They will practice under license from Big Green Heart. 

The role of the trainer is to teach and train practitioners in the methodology of Big Green Heart and to bring individuals through to accreditation. This will be done regionally and online.

It is hoped that the trainer will continue to oversee the developing work of the practitioners in a mentoring role, either individually or in groups, whether in person or online. This will be an evolving role developed in partnership with the Founder/CEO. 

Key information

FT / PT: Part time

About the role

· Assist the Fundraising department in planning and delivering national and large-scale fundraising activities.

As Head of Operations & Governance, you will be responsible for overseeing the back-office operations of the charity. You will be a key point of contact for the team and support the Executive Director to ensure smooth, efficient and compliant operations.

You will be a senior member of the team, responsible for ensuring that PINF operates within its legal and regulatory framework, including in relation to charity, corporate, tax, employment and data protection regulations. The role involves liaising with the Chair, Board of Trustees, Executive Director, legal advisors and regulators to support best practice in financial management, governance, risk management and compliance.  

Duties and responsibilities 

• Financial Management 

• Ensure consistent delivery and quality of finance operations, including transactions processing, which will involve managing a bookkeeping service.

• Prepare and monitor annual budgets, management accounts and project budgets.

• Lead on the financial aspects of fundraising, contract management, and funder reporting. Including managing restricted and unrestricted funding. 

• Oversee the process of preparing statutory accounts, including liaising with accountants and auditors.

• Maintain internal controls and policies to protect assets, prevent fraud, and ensure business continuity. 

• Participate in the Finance & Fundraising Committee and support the Treasurer to plan and deliver meetings. 

• Prepare financial reports for board meetings and engage in board discussions.

Requirements  

• A professional qualification in finance, management, law, or a related field and at least five years’ experience relevant to this role.

• Deep understanding of good governance and best practice in the charity sector.

• Understanding of relevant laws relating to employment, data protection and running a charity. 

• Sympathy to the aims and objectives of PINF. 

• Full professional proficiency in English. 

• Right to work in the UK. 

Skills and attributes 

• Experience of managing charity finances and budgets (Essential). A related finance or accountancy qualification would be desirable. 

• Experience of managing operations in a comparable charity or business, with both strategic and day-to-day operational responsibilities.

• Developing processes and procedures and making improvements for efficiency and impact. 

• Experience of working closely with trustees, non-executives or senior leadership teams.
