About the role
We’re seeking a PPIE Manager to lead and strengthen patient involvement across mitochondrial disease research. As an equal partner in the LifeArc Centre for Rare Mitochondrial Diseases, The Lily Foundation leads the programme’s patient and public involvement strategy.
While the initial priority for this role is delivering the PPIE strategy for the LifeArc Centre, as a permanent member of the team, you’ll be responsible for building a sustainable involvement infrastructure that extends across all Lily Foundation research workstreams.

The Financial Wellbeing Coach is a new post that will play a key role in strengthening the financial resilience of nursing and midwifery professionals. Our Information & Support Hub is at the centre of that mission to create a world without limits for people with epilepsy. As an Initial Contact Assessor, you will be the welcoming first point of contact for anyone reaching out for help, understanding, support or reassurance.
At Epilepsy Action we recognise the power of collaboration and teamwork, so our team members with hybrid contracts can expect to work a minimum of 40% at our office in Leeds. On average this is 2 days a week, normally on Mondays and Thursdays, for full-time employees. The expectation to collaborate face-to-face is driven in part by your role and the activities you need to do which may vary from time to time, so you will need to work in a flexible way to help us create a world without limits for people with epilepsy
What you will do
Every day is different, but your purpose stays the same: help people feel supported from the very first moment they get in touch.
You will:
- Respond to emails and webforms by providing basic epilepsy information and signposting to our range of support services.
- Answer calls to our helpline encouraging people to open up about their situation so you can assess their needs and level or urgency. Using call handling skills to keep the conversation focused and on track.
- Enable people to access our range of support services by making timely referrals or signposting to external organisations for support where the primary need is not epilepsy related.
- Responding compassionately, while maintaining professional boundaries.
- Identify and responding to safeguarding concerns appropriately in line with our procedures.
- Keep accurate, confidential records, contributing to meaningful insights and real impact.
- Play a key role in promoting our services, reaching out into online communities where epilepsy is discussed to raise awareness of the support available.
- Work alongside our wider services team to help every person feel supported on their epilepsy journey with us.

The Role
Reporting to the Associate Director of Technology, this role is responsible for ensuring the organisation’s infrastructure is fit for purpose and that the service desk delivers a responsive, high-quality service to users.
About You
We are looking for someone with experience of working in a technology management role with strong communication skills and the ability to work professionally with integrity across multiple teams.
The role will require:
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft technologies, including Office 365
- Good awareness of technology security and cyber threats

The Role
You’ll lead the Association’s work in East of England, focusing on what matters most to stroke survivors and ensuring this work has real, measurable impact. In this influential role, you’ll build strong relationships across health and social care, Local Government, and the wider stroke community. Influencing local policy and practice, and overseeing the effective delivery of high-quality stroke support.
Key responsibilities will include:

About You
You’ll have:

- Senior level experience influencing policy change, ideally in health and social care, at a regional or national level.
- Substantial experience of holding senior-level relationships with partner organisations, ideally in health and social care / the NHS using strong negotiation skills and political judgement.
- Proven experience of leading high performing teams and large geographically distributed teams of paid staff and volunteers, with a strong track record of growing and developing staff and teams.

Crisis Skylight Merseyside offer direct services to people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. Alongside our frontline service offer, we develop and lead strategy and partnership projects to deliver positive change for homeless people in Merseyside.

About the role
As a Reception/Administrator for the Skylight, you will play a key role in supporting the Skylight team to support individuals that are homeless or at risk of homelessness. You will ensure that the Skylight runs effectively and efficiently. You will deliver the right processes and support for your colleagues to have an effective and impactful role in supporting Crisis members to prevent and end their homelessness.
You will be the first point of contact for anyone contacting the Skylight Centre and will provide a positive welcome to Crisis, being an ambassador for our services.

As a Reception/Administrator as part of the front of house team you will:
· Cover all reception responsibilities providing a safe and welcoming area for Skylight staff, clients and volunteers, providing effective Information and Guidance (IAG) to the vulnerable client group.
· Be responsible for the official opening/closing of the office in line with the H&S policies.
· Assess members at reception upon presentation and take appropriate action as to whether it is safe for them or others to access the service at that time utilising a trauma informed approach in line with confidentiality policies and procedures.
· Provide efficient and effective administrative and logistical support to the Crisis Skylight team, ensuring that all systems and structures contribute to the delivery of high-quality services to members and the smooth running of the office.
The key to success will be your ability to collaborate constructively and effectively as part of the Crisis team.

· Experience of providing customer service and advice within a reception environment, with a commitment to deliver the highest standard of customer care.
