We are now seeking a Digital & Data Transformation Manager to provider leadership for our digital systems, data automation, cybersecurity protocols and AI adoption.

The role

As Digital & Data Transformation Manager you will have an ability to influence in digitisation, data and IT and work cross-organisationally with Care/Housing operations, Finance, HR, suppliers, Trustees and Executive leadership. Our need is to co-create the digital strategy, influence ways of working and problem solve at a practical level. This role will lead and add momentum to the digitisation of Keychange. The process has begun and this role will coordinate and add cultural sensitive impetus to the change.  We want to multiply the gains already made to continue the transformation of the organisation. 

The focus of the role includes:

• Digital and data transformation, including identifying emerging digital technologies that can support or enhance our operations and the development of a digital organisational dashboard
• Digital and data management, including data protection governance, data security and data management
• Operational delivery, including oversight of our outsourced IT contractor and technical management of our intranet development

This is a management role with real impact – both within Keychange and ultimately in the lives of people we support.

 About you

We are looking for a values-led manager who brings:

• Experience in leading the development of digital systems, information governance, cyber-security improvement or digital transformation in a charity, care, housing, education or public sector environment
• Strong supplier-management skills
• Working understanding of cyber-security governance
• Ability to explain technical and governance issues clearly to non-technical and non-IT colleagues
• Ability to work at both management and practical implementation levels

You will be someone who combines strategic digital and data management with high standards of support, and who leads with integrity, humility and purpose.

Responsibilities

Finance & Board Administration

• Financial Oversight: Manage invoice creation, process team expenses, have a good understanding of our overall budget, and pull monthly budget reports from Sage for budget holders.

• Reporting: Prepare core financial reports for the board (budget vs. actuals, projections, cash flow charts) and support fundraising financial queries.

• Board Support: Coordinate quarterly board meetings, manage agendas/slides, take action notes (utilising AI tools), and track the risk and action logs.

Operations, HR & Governance

Qualifications

• A strong eye for detail to proofread and edit internal and external communications, ensuring different pieces of content meet grammar, tone, and branding standards.

• Ability to maintain meticulous data integrity in our CRM for programme and fundraising activities.

Alongside this, you'll support the delivery of a portfolio of special events, helping to create exceptional experiences that inspire support for Brain Research UK's mission.

You'll work across supporter stewardship, event delivery, fundraising development and reporting, making this a broad and varied role with excellent scope for career development.

About You

We're looking for someone who is organised, enthusiastic and naturally people-focused. You might already be working in community fundraising, events or supporter engagement, or perhaps have developed transferable relationship-management skills in another sector and are looking to bring them into the charity world.

Most importantly, you'll be someone who enjoys building lasting relationships, has excellent communication skills and is motivated by delivering outstanding supporter experiences. You'll be comfortable managing multiple priorities, confident working independently and excited by the opportunity to help grow an ambitious fundraising programme.

Role details

Location: Home working anywhere in the UK, with occasional UK-wide travel, early starts, late returns and approximately five overnight stays per year.

Salary: £44,672–£49,456 per annum, plus London Weighting of up to £3,655 pro rata where applicable. We also provide up to a 6% pension contribution and life assurance.

About the role

This role will work closely with Campaigns and Advocacy colleagues to deliver our new digital and communications strategy, helping to professionalise our communications and digital, and mobilise and inspire the public to take time, money and voice actions that support us and the youth led campaigns we help make happen.

You will work closely with colleague across the organisation to deliver inspiring, impactful communications, driving support for SOS UK and engagement with young people.

This role would suit a mid-career digital or communications generalist, with skills in email marketing, web and social media, including short-form video (e.g. Instagram Reels or TikTok).

We are excited to be collaborating with a much loved charity to support them with finding an Events Manager to develop and lead on all fundraising events - planning, logistics, delivery, review, analysis and growth. The role will include leading and delivering all challenge, 3rd party, Hospice led and flagship events, including mass participation, London Marathon, Gala events and community engagement.

This is a hybrid role based at a peaceful countryside site in Essex, with 3 days a week in the office.

The Role:
Lead, develop and provide hands on delivery of existing and new income generating events

Be an active and positive member of the Fundraising Leadership Team (FLT)

Work with the FLT and Marcomms team to continually deliver and develop events, effective communications income through engagement with existing and new stakeholders.

Deliver an ambitious annual fundraising events six figure income target

Deliver hands on end-to-end activity in the delivery of events, working with colleagues and delegating where appropriate

Manage and report on all activity, risk, income and expenditure, as required and to meet all stakeholder expectations

The Candidate:
Experience of effectively leading and delivering end to end project management

Experience of working in a charity fundraising environment

Demonstrable experience of being responsible for personally delivering six figure annual income from successful event fundraising.

Demonstrable experience of collaboration to secure significant income

Demonstrable experience of setting, managing and delivering income targets, expenditure budgets and reforecasts.

Have a valid UK Drivers License.
