This is an exciting opportunity to join Dementia UK’s IT team as our Senior IT Support Engineer. In this pivotal role, you will provide advanced technical expertise across our IT infrastructure, ensuring the delivery of a robust, resilient and secure technology environment that underpins the charity’s nationwide operations.

Acting as a senior point of technical escalation , you will take ownership of 3rd line incidents, service requests and problem investigations, ensuring these are resolved in line with ITIL best practice and within agreed SLAs. You will play a key role in strengthening our infrastructure by analysing root causes, implementing permanent corrective actions, and driving continuous improvement across our IT services.

A significant aspect of the role will involve monitoring and maintaining cloud infrastructure, supporting key Microsoft 365 services, and contributing to network stability and security across the charity. You will also help design, implement, and automate solutions using tools such as PowerShell and Azure CLI, ensuring repeatable and secure operational processes.

To succeed in this role, you will hold a degree in a relevant subject or hold equivalent industry qualifications. You will bring substantial experience in 3rd line support within Microsoft-focused environments, including Azure infrastructure, M365 administration, and modern identity and security technologies. You will demonstrate excellent communication and collaboration skills, a solid understanding of IT service change management processes, and practical experience using ITSM tools.

If this sounds like the right opportunity for you, join us and help make a real difference in the lives of those affected by dementia.

We would love to hear from you!
