About the Role

We're looking for a proactive and skilled Communications and Fundraising Coordinator to lead the delivery of our comms and fundraising strategies. You'll work alongside a passionate team of staff and volunteers to grow our impact and help drive support for DLAG’s life-changing work.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment and wants to play a vital role in strengthening local communities.

Responsibilities

• Develop, schedule and deliver marketing plans and social media campaigns
• Prepare and distribute fundraising and donor materials (e.g. newsletters, raffle collateral, digital campaigns)
• Administer JustGiving and Enthuse platforms for campaigns and events
• Coordinate the production of marketing assets with volunteer graphic designers
• Create monthly impact reports and manage marketing dashboards
• Oversee the CRM/database — adding donor, school and corporate contacts
• Support event planning and donor recognition activities
• Line-manage the Volunteer Fundraising Administrator and Newsletter Editor
• Report directly to the Director and work collaboratively with the volunteer marketing team
• Research areas of greatest need in our three boroughs to ensure we continue to reach out to these communities

We have an exciting new opportunity for a Director of Governance, Risk and Compliance — a key leadership role within the organisation, and part of the Senior Leadership team.

About the Role

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer and working closely with senior management, the Executive Leadership Team and Board of Trustees, this role provides leadership across Governance, Risk and Compliance functions. You’ll oversee a skilled team covering:

• Risk

• Information Governance and Cyber Security
• Group Legal function

You’ll lead on maintaining and evolving our Risk Management Framework, ensure we meet legal and regulatory requirements, and provide assurance to the Executive Leadership Team and Board of Trustees.

You’ll also help embed ethical standards and good governance practices across the organisation, supporting sound decision-making and high levels of accountability.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone with a strong understanding of the core responsibilities set out in the job description here and the leadership experience to deliver them.

You will need to demonstrate:

• Experience leading Governance, Risk and Compliance functions in a complex organisation.
• A strong grasp of Risk Management, including setting risk appetite and reporting to Board level.
• Knowledge of governance frameworks and best practice in Board and Committee management.
• Familiarity with regulatory and legal compliance across key areas (e.g. charity law, data protection, information governance, cyber).
• Experience working directly with Executive teams, Trustees or Boards, with the ability to provide independent insight and challenge.
• A collaborative leadership style, with experience managing multidisciplinary teams.

Healthwatch City of London are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced communications and engagement officer to ensure that the patient and service users voice is at the heart of Health and Social Care decision making.  The successful candidate will drive engagement with the local community, creating visibility of our work to residents and partners. We are looking for an experienced money advice caseworker to join our friendly and hard-working team to deliver a high-quality debt advice service for local people in Southwark.

This role will provide in-depth debt advice casework and wrap around support for vulnerable local people.

You will have:

• Recent and ongoing paid or voluntary experience of managing your own caseload of money advice and income maximisation cases.
• Ability to write detailed up to date case notes, letters and reports as required in plain English.
• Ability to manage a challenging caseload, meet targets and prioritise work in the face of competing demands on your time.

We are delighted to have been awarded funding by the National Lottery to deliver a third phase of our incredibly popular Women Off to Work (WOW) programme. Since 2017, WOW has supported hundreds of local women from predominantly Global Majority communities through holistic training and pathways into work programme.

Role: Finance & CRM Administrator

Reporting to: Financial Controller, with a dotted line to the Directors/Fundraising team

Purpose of job: To work with the Finance and Fundraising teams to provide excellent finance, CRM & other systems administration. This will support income generation, research, data capture and information security throughout the Museum. Responsibilities include maintaining financial records, managing and maintaining a CRM database of contacts, supporting other digital systems, and some general administrative duties including IT support.

Who we are looking for

Are you looking to take the next step in your arts finance, administration or fundraising career?

The Foundling Museum is transforming how digital systems underpin the foundations of this small but mighty Museum and charity. The position of Finance & CRM Administrator sits at the heart of this continued transition, following the successful implementation and migration to Shopify, Xero & Beacon CRM which began in 2023.

This new role is essential to the success of the Finance & Fundraising teams, in providing effective finance and CRM administration support. The Finance and CRM Administrator will support income generation activities including fundraising and venue hire, as well as playing a vital role in keeping the Museum’s accounting systems working effectively.

This includes processing all types of financial transactions on Xero and maintaining records on Beacon. You will work as a key part of both teams supporting the Museum’s strategy through the provision of high quality financial & other data, and the maintenance of the underlying systems.

Essential

· Excellent financial, administration & analytical skills

The Foundling Museum tells the compelling story of Thomas Coram’s Hospital for foundlings, the UK’s first ever children’s charity, now named Coram, and its first public art gallery, now the Foundling Museum.

Inspired by three great 18th-century activists - Thomas Coram, William Hogarth and George Frideric Handel - our mission is to inspire change and transform lives through the power of the arts. We believe in creative action that brings past and present together, to stimulate imaginations and enrich lives.

Examples of our work include:

· Art projects which explore how our historic story of care still resonates today by addressing stigma and supporting mental health. We do this by working in a connected way, establishing collaborations with local health and community partners.

· ‘Tracing Our Tales’, our flagship training programme for care-experienced young people which was named Learning Programme of the Year at the 2022 Museums and Heritage Awards. Supported by our Learning Team, trainees learn art or creative writing skills in weekly sessions led by dynamic artists and poets, to build a creative portfolio.

· Exhibitions, collections and displays, ranging from tiny, touching identifying tokens left by mothers with their babies, to composer George Frideric Handel’s will. Around the Museum, you’ll find works of art by contemporary artists like Yinka Shonibare CBE RA, Tracey Emin and Michael Craig-Martin, as well as 18th-century artists William Hogarth, Thomas Gainsborough and Joshua Reynolds.

As The Childhood Trust’s Volunteer Manager, you’ll be responsible for volunteers across the organisation.

Your role will include oversight of the corporate and community volunteers who take part in our Transforming Spaces programme. You will work closely with colleagues in the fundraising team to create a positive and inspiring experience for corporate volunteers. 

Key to this role will be working with the Head of Volunteering and Community Programmes to embed volunteering across The Childhood Trust. You will lead on developing a diverse and inclusive volunteer base of skilled and specialist individual volunteers, fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment where they feel valued and connected to the mission.

We are delighted to be supporting a specialist healthcare charity in their search for a temporary Digital Marketing Officer to join their Communications team. This is a full-time role based onsite in London, running for 4-weeks in the first instance.
