A little bit about the role 

Location: ​National, hybrid. If London-based, 2 days a week expected in our London Office.

Contract:​ Full Time, 6-month fixed term contract. ​

Salary: £50,242.40 (£53,747.68 with London office allowance) plus competitive pension

The Contract Governance team helps Frontline deliver its mission by supporting the governance of Approach Social Work and other strategically important work, making sure decisions are clear, risks are understood, strategic partnerships work well, and colleagues have what they need to deliver lasting change for children and families.

This role is placed at a senior-manager banding to reflect the level of responsibility, autonomy and judgement required. This includes leading significant areas of contract governance, working with senior internal and external stakeholders, and deputising for the Principal Contract Governance Manager where appropriate. As part of the role, this may include line management responsibility for members of the Contract Governance team during periods of absence, parental leave or increased team need.

Some key responsibilities include:

• Leading key areas of contract governance for Approach Social Work and other strategically important contracts where relevant.
• Leading or supporting DfE-facing contract governance activity, making sure Frontline is well prepared for important discussions, updates and decisions.
• Preparing clear papers, briefings, updates and recommendations for senior colleagues and governance groups.

A little bit about you 

We are looking for an experienced contract governance or programme management professional with a strong track record in complex, regulated or government-funded environments. You will bring solid experience of contractual frameworks, risk management and senior stakeholder engagement, with the credibility to lead DfE-facing governance activity confidently. You will be a skilled communicator, who is able to prepare clear papers and briefings, bring together evidence and data, and translate complexity into practical next steps.

You will have excellent communication skills, be able to build relationships with people and be willing to learn. This role is a varied one that collaborates with colleagues and supporters daily. That could be working with our innovation team to maximise marketing opportunities to our Inspire product members, ensuring our website content is a powerful call to action, or working with our supporter journey team to plan an exceptional welcome journey for new gifts in Wills enquirers. Support and deliver mentoring programmes in Bexley and Greenwich across a different programmes. Working with young people who need support, one to one and/or group Bexley Targeted and startwell programme. Co-ordinate enrichments activities and residentials for startwell and Bexley.

Plan and deliver Premier league inspires programme in schools. Work closely with risk and violence reduction manager to highlight schools and young people that should be on the programme.

About the role

At SEA, all our work is grounded in evidence and shaped by the lived experiences of victim-survivors. As Research Officer, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality, survivor-centred research on economic abuse as part of a major new three-year project funded by the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC).

Working closely with the Senior Research Officer, colleagues across SEA, academic partners and external stakeholders, you will support research exploring coerced debt as a form of economic abuse and the responses to it across systems and services. The role will involve qualitative and quantitative research activities, including data collection, analysis, stakeholder engagement, and producing accessible and impactful research outputs.

Your work will help strengthen understanding of economic abuse and inform policy, practice and systems change on coerced debt that improves responses for victim-survivors.

About you

You are a skilled researcher who is passionate about conducting high-quality research which can create real-world impact for victim-survivors of economic abuse.

You will have the ability to sensitively work with victim-survivors to learn about their lived experiences of economic abuse , including coerced debt, as well as the ability to conduct research with professional stakeholders.

Using your research skills, you will be able to analyse data, and will be able to demonstrate a good understanding of economic abuse in the context of intimate partner abuse, including of how perpetrators can misuse systems to enact abuse. You will be able to demonstrate an ability to deliver research projects in a timely manner and to communicate findings clearly to a range of stakeholders.

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Partnerships and Advocacy Manager to strengthen The Politics Project’s influencing and partnerships work, with a focus on Democracy Classroom - a non-partisan network of organisations across the youth, education and democracy sectors. You’ll lead the implementation of the new Democracy Classroom strategy, and grow the network’s impact and reach in the build up to the next general election and the implementation of votes at 16.

You will play a central role in expanding and activating the network - supporting over 100 partner organisations to collaborate effectively, share learning, build trust and increase their collective impact. You will be a key player in keeping the sector informed, connected and ready to respond to key moments in democratic engagement, from elections to policy changes.

You will take on a highly relational role, working closely with the team to manage and nurture a complex network blending multiple sectors. You will collaborate with the Director to manage shared relationships across the Democracy Classroom network, building more ownership over time. You’ll help position Democracy Classroom as an important conduit between the sector and major stakeholders like government departments and funders.

This is a dynamic, outward-facing role that blends strategic thinking with hands-on coordination. You’ll work closely with the Head of Communications and Networks, the Democracy Classroom Programme Coordinator and colleagues across The Politics Project to make sure partners feel supported, valued and part of a shared mission.

The Politics Project is based in London, and the post holder will be expected to work from the office at least two days a week. The role may require occasional UK travel and some evening/weekend work, for which time off in lieu will be given. The role has a six-month probation period. The hours of work are 37.5 hrs per week. This is a fast-paced role in a friendly, supportive and growing team.

Key responsibilities

Partnership management

• Build, nurture and deepen relationships with more than 100 civil society partners, helping each partner see themselves as part of a growing and collaborative sector.

• Identify and recruit new organisations into Democracy Classroom, leading our onboarding process and helping new partners make the best of Democracy Classroom.

• Facilitate partner input into planning, shared problem-solving and decision-making.

Advocacy and influencing

• Plan and deliver Democracy Classroom meetings, training and networking events.

• Represent The Politics Project and Democracy Classroom externally as a confident ambassador for our collaborative, non-partisan approach.

• Develop and deliver partner communications to ensure consistent, clear and timely updates.

• Act as the main point of contact for Democracy Classroom partner queries, support and collaboration.

Monitoring and reporting

• Track partner engagement and feedback to support continuous improvement.

Living Wage Foundation 

The Living Wage movement began in 2001, after Citizens UK brought together communities in East London to discuss poverty and low pay. The campaign grew in momentum and soon required a mechanism to recognise employers who wanted to join the movement, which saw the establishment of the Living Wage Foundation in 2011.

Purpose 

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced digital communications professional to join the Living Wage Foundation team as our Digital Communications Manager. The ideal candidate would have demonstrable digital communications skills and experience, on top of an enthusiasm for engaging supporters across our social networks, website and email communications. The candidate will be tech savvy and have experience managing social media, using a website CMS and other digital tools that will support engagement with the real Living Wage and other key areas e.g. Living Hours and a Living Pension, across multiple stakeholders.  They’ll also be an effective storyteller with an understanding of how to transform stories into impactful online communications.   

As part of a busy department of communications specialists spanning media, digital, you will play a critical role in shaping our digital engagement strategy through our website, social media channels and email marketing. As well as leading the team to expand our reach and build brand awareness through creative content, you will also have a keen eye for analytics and work with our partner agencies to deliver effective campaigns across paid social media ads, Google Ads and website management.  

The person in this role will line manage a Communications Officer who will offer digital communications support. The ideal candidate will be a patient and kind people manager who enjoys supporting the personal development of team members This role will work closely with Citizens UK colleagues, including the Citizens UK communications team on cross-organisational priorities.  You will report to the Senior Communications and Marketing Manager at the Living Wage Foundation. 

 This role will play an integral role in shaping the wider communications strategy.  You will be working as part of a passionate communications team, with a strong commitment to the Living Wage campaign.  

Main Responsibilities 

Working as the Digital Communications Manager, reporting to the Senior Communications and Marketing Manager, your main responsibilities will include: 

Social media: 

• Lead the team in the use of social media to increase brand awareness and impact; generate innovative approaches.   

• Oversee Communications Officers to monitor, manage, create and schedule content on our social media accounts, tailoring content to different channels and audiences.

• Establish systems for monitoring and evaluating key performance indicators and delivering to time and budget. 

• Manage paid advertising strategy on social media, overseeing relationship with external agencies. 

Website: 

• Work with developers to maintain and update website CMS alongside Operations team, support the team in creating news and blog content and help upskill colleagues to create content for the website.  

• Support on development of a members’ dashboard area to improve processes and enhance the accreditation experience. 

• Use insights and analytics to monitor the success of the website e.g. Google Analytics. 

Materials development and dissemination: 

• Ensure all work is completed within brand guidelines.  

• Roll-out a content strategy to support the digital communications and marketing strategy, taking responsibility for resourcing the workplan for the wider team and contractors. 

• Manage our newsletter and mailing lists with Living Wage Employers; looking for opportunities to improve content and impact.

• Basic design and video-editing support of communications and marketing collateral. 

• Support the wider team and employers with ad-hoc marketing requests and digital materials to support their work plans. 

Situational awareness and research: 

• Lead the team in conducting stakeholder analysis; identifying and segmenting audiences and their positions and interests.  

• Confident to test and learn from new digital and marketing approaches. 

• Identify new ways to communicate effectively with our internal employer network, by building understanding of our key audiences and employer journey.

Strategy development:  

• Participate in development of the communications strategy, contributing tactical and creative ideas around implementation, ensuring it is integrated with wider communications and campaigns strategies. 

• Shape digital engagement and marketing strategy, ensuring that plans deliver against the influencing goals; evaluating effectiveness of the strategy and adjusting as required.  

• Work with wider teams to support the development of tailored digital communications strategies  

• Manage limited budgets for the digital growth strategy. 

Reputational and risk management: 

• Appropriately manage and mitigate risk on our digital channels; developing processes and messaging when necessary.

• Demonstrate awareness of potential reputational risks and proactively develops appropriate protocol and messages, including expected professional fundraising standards.  

• Effectively represents the organisation with senior stakeholders  

External relationships: 

• Collaborate with Living Wage Employers and supporters to create engaging content and further Living Wage visibility online.

• Manage external relationships with agencies, designers and other contractors to resource digital communications work, ensuring quality and brand consistency. 

Campaigns and events management:  

• Develop creative digital marketing campaigns that promote our brand and further engagement objectives. 

• Create a digital strategy for Living Wage Week, including creation of the employer digital pack, overseeing delivery by Communications Officers.

• Provide digital support and advice for organisational campaign and event priorities.

• Establish systems for monitoring and evaluating key performance indicators and delivering to time and budget.  

Internal comms and knowledge management: 

• Identify gaps in our internal knowledge management in digital practices and strengthen these with clear processes and documents to drive best practice amongst wider team.  

• Provide digital support and advice to colleagues across numerous projects; this might include trainings on the use of digital platforms and trends, in order to build internal capacity and best support their work. 

• Act as a brand ambassador for the whole organisation.

Role and Resonsibilties

This role oversees the securing and reporting of our Trusts and Foundation income, including working closely with colleagues to develop relevant, impactful and deliverable funding proposals and coordinate the stewardship of key trust and foundation relationships.

The role works closely with all colleagues to ensure a joined-up approach to income generation across the charity and our different supporter groups. 

Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience in preparing and submitting successful funding applications and proposals to charitable trusts and foundations, with a track record of securing five and six figure gifts, ideally within the refugee’s sector. You will have experience of working with, and applying for funding from, some of the larger grant organisations.

You will be experienced in identifying suitable prospects, developing pipelines, and managing funder relationships, adopting a strategic approach when working with colleagues across the organisation.

Location and Hours

This is a hybrid role, with at least one day per week worked on site at our Brixton office and/or Deptford workshop, and the remaining hours worked remotely.

The role is part-time (0.6 FTE), equivalent to 3 days per week, and can be worked flexibly across either Monday–Wednesday or Tuesday–Thursday. Some occasional evening and weekend work may be required.

 Role and Responsibilities

This role will suit someone who can adapt or work in a fast-paced environment, who can prioritise activities based on the expected amount of income they generate.

As Fundraising Officer, you’ll play a key role across a wide range of fundraising activities, including supporting Trusts and Foundations grant applications, managing our challenge events programme, leading DIY fundraising initiatives, assisting with individual giving appeals, delivering supporter events, and ensuring high-quality donor stewardship. You’ll work closely with colleagues to engage supporters, drive income, and maintain accurate records in Salesforce.

Skills and Qualiifcations 

We’re looking for a proactive Fundraising Officer with strong digital skills and experience using fundraising platforms such as Raisely. You’ll have a track record in campaign delivery, event management, and donor communications, with excellent copywriting skills and the ability to adapt messages for different audiences. Previous fundraising experience is essential, along with the ability to take initiative and work independently to achieve results.
