About the Role

This is an independent, target-driven role where you’ll take full ownership of sales – but you won’t be working in isolation. This is a key position for someone who thrives on sales, relationship-building and growth. 

You will take ownership of outbound sales, and proactively seek opportunities across B2B, B2C and corporate growth (standing orders, wholesale and weddings), and work to ensure our pipeline is always full and well nurtured.

This is not a passive sales role—it's about being out there, finding leads, closing deals and growing accounts.

Key Responsibilities

Outbound Sales & Business Development

• Identify and secure new B2B, wholesale, corporate and wedding clients.
• Unlock the potential of our existing client list through strategic outreach.
• Drive proactive lead generation, including cold calling, networking and LinkedIn outreach.
• Build and maintain a robust pipeline of leads, converting them into long-term contracts.
• Attend tastings, sales meetings, and events to pitch Luminary’s offering and communicate our social impact.
• Keep CRM records up to date to track opportunities, conversations and progress.

Account Growth & Relationship Management

• Strengthen and expand relationships with high-value clients and key accounts.
• Spot and pursue upselling opportunities (e.g. regular standing orders, bespoke gifting, seasonal campaigns)
• Collaborate with production, fulfilment and packaging teams to ensure flawless delivery
   

Sales Strategy & Performance Tracking

• Lead on setting and delivering monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
• Report regularly to the Managing Director on sales performance and pipeline health
• Use customer feedback and sales data to refine and improve sales strategy
   

Weddings & Corporate Events

• Respond to wedding and corporate event enquiries and develop new outbound opportunities.
• Build relationships with venues, planners and corporate gifting contacts.
• Prepare tailored proposals, quotations and tasting sessions for high-value prospects.
• Develop and implement initiatives to increase wedding cake sales

About You

• Proven track record in B2B or high-end food/hospitality sales

We are recruiting a Peer Involvement Worker to join the Involvement Team and become part of a vibrant and ambitious Lived Experience Workforce.  It is essential that applicants have personal lived experience of mental and emotional distress, and personal experience of accessing secondary care mental health services, or experience of caring for, or supporting someone who has. 1. To work alongside the Involvement Project Lead, the Involvement Administrative Coordinator, two Peer Involvement Coordinators, and the wider Involvement Team.

2. Use peer support values and principles within the context of supporting people to take part in involvement and coproduction activities.

3. Support people with lived experience of trust services through the registration process to enable them to join the Lived Experience Network.

4. Build connections with Lived Experience Members, gaining an understanding of their lived experience of services, their interests and what they may want to gain from taking part actively. Using this knowledge to support them to become involved in involvement and coproduction activities.

5. Support members in their involvement through 1 to 1 check-ins, group facilitation, and by offering support before, during and after involvement activities.

6. Through the wisdom of their own lived experience, and a respect for the diversity of perspectives and experiences, the postholder will challenge stigma and inspire hope and a belief that recovery is possible.

This post requires a creative individual with strong writing ability and a demonstrable passion for writing, as well as meticulous attention to detail and a firm grasp of grammar and plain English communication. The post holder will be able to manage various working relationships and competing priorities. • An ability to communicate complex and dry concepts in plain English and compelling copy.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to lead on planning.
• Significant professional copywriting experience, either in house or for an agency
• Proven conceptual copywriting experience, ideally gained in a multi-channel environment, across both print and digital content.
• Experience of writing in a not-for-profit context and for a Muslim audience is valued.
