Bluesci operates across the borough of Trafford from four Wellbeing Centres, offering arts, cultural and volunteering opportunities, social prescribing, talking therapies, and group support. We partner with Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Trust (GMMH) to deliver Trafford Neighbourhood Mental Health Service and with Trafford Libraries to co-deliver library services from two of our centres. Bluesci at Night offers a safe, welcoming space for people 365 nights a year, and we also provide Smoking Cessation Support.   

Peer support Workers hold a key position in the Trafford Living Well service, working with individuals and groups, to help people to reach their individual recovery goals.

Peer support workers support individuals to establish greater control over their lives, helping to identify aspects of life that give meaning, hope, value and purpose whilst recognising that everyone’s recovery is a uniquely personal process.

As an integral and valued member of the multi-agency team, the post holder will support team members by role modelling and using lived experience of mental health services to shape the service's quality.

Working across the whole secretariat, from campaigns to communications to fundraising, this role is critical in the running of the organisation and supporting the aims of the coalition.

The Membership Engagement Manager will ensure TCC effectively supports its membership to become more than the sum of its parts, playing a pivotal role in strengthening and expanding our coalition by building and facilitating meaningful relationships with member organisations, both new and existing. Member Engagement & Support

• Serve as the primary point of contact for member organisations, addressing inquiries and providing support to enhance member satisfaction.

• Develop and implement strategies to increase member engagement, including organising events, webinars, and networking opportunities, including regular All Coalition Meetings and Annual Movement Gatherings.

Role purpose

To manage the programme’s policy activity and provide support and expertise to help ensure effective delivery of the programme’s strategy to influence policy change. Working closely with internal and external stakeholders, the role will plan and deliver activities to help ensure Trussell’s analysis and arguments are taken up and the organisation’s policy recommendations are reflected in decisions made by UK government, in line with the programme goals.

Plan and deliver policy influencing activities to strengthen Trussell’s ability to secure policy change. Job Description

The Head of Delivery & Partnerships is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing the 
successful implementation, quality of outcomes, and retention of DFN Project SEARCH programmes 
across the UK, the Republic of Ireland and Iberia, in line with our franchise agreement from Project 
SEARCH . This role leads the Delivery & Partnerships team, ensuring strategic alignment, excellence 
of delivery, and sustained impactful partnerships.
You will play a pivotal role in driving programme quality, ensuring retention, maintaining model 
fidelity, and ensuring high-quality outcomes for interns. Additionally, you will oversee the growth of 
our number of programmes, in line with our strategic regional and national plans. You will also 
contribute to the strategic direction of the organisation, working closely with cross-functional teams 
to maximise DFN Project SEARCH’s impact.
Regular travel throughout the UK will be required, with occasional travel to other areas of our delivery. 
In addition, occasional international travel may be required, for example to the annual conference in

The role
The Domestic Abuse Prevention Worker will undertake individual and group sessions with men and women who are participating in our Domestic Abuse Prevention Programmes (DAPP) or Domestic Abuse Interventions. The purpose of this role is to deliver sessions that support a perpetrator to address and change their behaviour, ensuring they develop their understanding of domestic abuse, as well as it’s impact on others. You will conduct comprehensive needs and suitability assessments. You will support the delivery of face-to-face and online sessions, including two evening group sessions per week. 

As a Domestic Abuse Prevention Worker, you will work with people on awareness raising, developing their motivation to change, ensuring accountability, and prioritising the safety of their partners/ex-partners and any children involved. The Domestic Abuse Prevention worker will work closely with the victim/survivor integrated service to review risk, develop safety plans, and improve outcomes for all parties involved. 

As part of the role, you will be working with some perpetrators of domestic abuse that have been served a DAPOs. This role will include travel and delivery across Greater Manchester. 

About you

You’ll have a deep understanding of the nature of domestic abuse and its effects on clients and children, as well as the reasons behind abusive behaviours towards intimate partners.

Your knowledge extends to the range of statutory and voluntary agencies that clients and their children may encounter, and you are aware of the impact of domestic abuse on children and parenting, including the additional needs of clients from BAMER communities. 

You will have experience in working with clients on issues of domestic abuse, providing one-to-one and group support and advice, managing your own workload and administration, and assessing the risk and safety of your clients and those connected to your client. You will have handled safeguarding disclosures and referrals, and you communicate clearly with a range of people both over the telephone and in person. 

You will be organised, able to use your initiative, and work effectively as part of a multi-service team. Your administrative skills are strong, and you are adept at using a computer to maintain effective systems. 

Flexible and willing to work evenings, you can travel independently. Additionally, you will have an understanding of trauma-informed practices, risk mitigation, and safeguarding. Experience liaising with social workers and other professionals, and in related areas such as substance misuse, child protection, or family support, is desirable. 

Fluency in an additional language and skills in group work are also advantageous. You stay updated with best practices and new initiatives.

This is an opportunity to use your clinical, audit and quality improvement experience to influence the safety, effectiveness and consistency of services that support people affected by gambling harms.

As Clinical Audit and Improvement Manager, you will lead GamCare’s clinical audit programme and play a key role in helping teams understand what is working well, where improvements are needed and how learning can be embedded in practice. Working within the Quality and Safety Team, you will use audit findings, service data, feedback and lived experience insight to produce clear reports, practical recommendations and improvement plans that support continuous improvement across our clinical services.

You will work closely with Quality Leads, Service Managers, clinical teams and People and Organisational Development colleagues to make sure learning is shared, understood and applied. This will include planning and delivering audits, thematic reviews and evaluations; developing quality improvement tools and governance resources; supporting preparation for external audits or quality reviews; and designing training, workshops and Model of Care learning sessions that help colleagues apply best practice with confidence.

This is a role for someone who can combine analytical rigour with a collaborative, supportive approach. You will help turn evidence into action, supporting teams to reflect, learn and improve while keeping the needs and experiences of people affected by gambling harms at the centre of decision-making.

About you

You may already be working in clinical audit, quality improvement, service monitoring, clinical governance or service development within health, social care or the voluntary sector. You will bring experience of working in clinical services, ideally within addiction or mental health, and of delivering interventions such as psychosocial interventions, CBT or motivational interviewing.

You will be confident interpreting service data, audit findings and quality metrics, and translating them into reports, recommendations and learning that are clear, constructive and useful. You will understand how to engage busy clinical and operational teams, build trust and support reflective learning without losing sight of standards, risk and accountability.

This role will lead the development, setup, and delivery of individual locations within our new hyper-local Early Diagnosis Programme designed to improve bowel cancer awareness and timely presentation in communities most affected by health inequalities. Central to the role is establishing strong partnerships - working with local cancer alliances or health boards, primary care, community pharmacies, employers, and community and faith groups - to create tailored, locally driven plans.

The post holder will oversee the design of bespoke 12-month delivery plans for each location, selecting and coordinating relevant Bowel Cancer UK interventions and ensuring all activity is grounded in local insight and evidence.

This role will be critical in delivering the first phase of the Early Diagnosis Programme, generating learning, refining the model, and laying the foundations for potential future scale-up across the UK.

• Lead and deliver local early diagnosis programmes by developing tailored, evidence-based 12‑month plans to improve bowel cancer awareness and early presentation in targeted communities.

Working under the guidance of the Programme Manager and closely with the rest of the Learning & Capacity Building team, the Programme Assistant will support and coordinate the delivery of high-quality capacity building and training interventions in line with UK-Med’s vision for our digital, in-person and simulation-based training capability.

The ideal candidate for Programme Assistant is someone passionate about Learning and Development and capacity building for humanitarian programming with excellent attention to detail, strong administration skills as well as skills in training coordination and effective communication. The role requires an organised and consistent approach to meeting team priorities and deliverables.

As our Safeguarding Lead, you will play a central role in strengthening safeguarding practice across the Motor Neurone Disease (MND) Association, helping ensure the right support is in place at the right time.

Key Responsibilities 

• Lead the development and delivery of the MND Association’s safeguarding strategy
• Provide expert safeguarding advice and support for staff and volunteers
• Oversee responses to serious safeguarding incidents, including reporting and learning
• Lead the Association’s Safeguarding Board and annual action planning
• Work in partnership with senior leaders to ensure safeguarding awareness at all levels of the organisation
• Maintain and review risk management and reporting, safeguarding policies, ensuring compliance and best practice
• Develop quality assurance frameworks, audits and case reviews
• Strengthen safeguarding culture through training, engagement and clear standards

About You 

• Significant experience in a senior safeguarding role and working within multi-agency safeguarding environments
• Strong knowledge of safeguarding legislation and multi-agency working
• Experience managing complex safeguarding incidents and reviews
• Ability to provide safeguarding KPIs, reporting, data and risk analysis
• Confident communicator who can challenge constructively
• Proven ability to provide positive safeguarding outcomes for  
• Skilled in analysing data to drive improvement and risk mitigation

Desirable

• Experience in a charity or voluntary sector setting
• Social Work or other relevant qualification

Regional Officer for Safeguarding– South East Region (London & South East Districts)

Home based, part time (17.5 hours per week)

We are seeking a part-time Regional Officer for Safeguarding (ROS) to join our Connexional Safeguarding Team. In this role, you will take the lead on safeguarding matters within your designated area, providing expert advice, guidance, and oversight to ensure compliance with safeguarding policy, procedures, and relevant legislation.

You will manage safeguarding casework, undertake and support risk assessments (including those relating to DBS concerns), contribute to the delivery of safeguarding training, and advise churches and circuits on best practice. Working collaboratively with Regional Safeguarding Officers, District Chairs, and District Safeguarding Groups, you will help promote and strengthen effective safeguarding practice across the region.
