Blue Cross is seeking an experienced and ambitious Head of Philanthropy to lead and make an active contribution to our High Value Fundraising project, a key initiative designed to grow our future income. This 12-month fixed-term role will focus on delivering high-impact fundraising activity while managing and inspiring a talented Philanthropy team.

You will support in the delivery of the 2026 Philanthropy plan across trusts, foundations, and high-net-worth individuals, with a particular focus on the High Value Fundraising project. Leading high-value fundraising activity, you will manage your own portfolio, create income pipelines, develop key performance indicators, and work closely with internal and external stakeholders to maximise philanthropic support. You will ensure the charity’s Case for Support remains current and compelling and deliver high-standard donor reporting.
This is a home-based role with a contracted base site. Travel to your base site is considered normal commuting, while travel to other Blue Cross locations or partner sites will be reimbursed.

Essential Qualifications, Skills, and Experience
- Extensive experience developing strategies that increase income from major donors and institutional funders, including personally securing five- and ideally six-figure donations
- Proven experience of meeting and exceeding ambitious income growth targets
- Experience of building and managing funder relationships
- Strong financial monitoring, target setting, and reporting skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication, including the ability to analyse and present data tailored for different audiences
- Highly developed influencing and negotiation skills
- Track record of leading, managing, and inspiring a team, encouraging innovation and improving ways of working
- Experience working at senior organisational levels and managing relationships with Directors, CEOs, and Boards

Support Coordinator
We’re looking for an innovative, passionate and professional individual with excellent communication and organisational skills to join the Stroke Recovery Service based in the North Lincolnshire area.
This is an exciting opportunity to work with stroke survivors and their families to support them following a stroke.
Position: S11333 Stroke Support Coordinator
Location: Home-based, North Lincolnshire. However, frequent travel will be required as part of this role (this will include the need for regular home visits and may include team meetings or other work-related meetings)
Hours: Part-time, 21 hours per week

The Role
The service aims to identify and address the needs of stroke survivors and carers across the stroke pathway, by providing a range of innovative support solutions, supporting them to meet their desired outcomes.
Reporting to the Stroke Service Delivery Coach, the Stroke Support Coordinator will:
- Making introductory calls to stroke survivors and carers, identifying their needs and their desired support pathway through the service.
- Delivering an effective service in line with case management principles ensuring that confidential and accurate records are kept on the CRM database.
- Organise and deliver community engagement activities such as awareness events and service presentations to promote the service and raise awareness of stroke and its risk factors
- Provide personalised information, advice and support using a person-centred approach through a variety of contact methods including home visits.
- Working collaboratively with other professionals and organisations involved in the care of stroke survivors and carers to ensure the best possible support is provided throughout the stroke pathway.

The post holder will have experience/background in:
- Providing person centred support.
- Working to improve outcomes for individuals/communities
- Using technology and IT systems to support your work and keep timely, accurate records.
- Working collaboratively with other professionals in a variety of settings.

About the Role
As Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) Officer, you will support the design and implementation of evidenced-based projects. Key Tasks
Volunteer Engagement and Support
· Develop and grow the engagement in branches & SIGs and support volunteers to build new groups and networks.
· Build strong relationships with each branch and SIG community, providing administration support for their meetings and activities.
· With support, develop and deliver our annual in-person Volunteer Awards and annual in-person Volunteer Forum event.
· Work with the Communities and Events Manager to develop and deliver branch events and SIG conferences.
· Engage our volunteers with regular virtual ‘keep in touch’ meetings and other activities designed to maximise their satisfaction in their volunteer role – and share best practice across the networks.
· Create regular communications to engage and update our volunteers.
Community Development
· Support our communities with the development of their annual budgets and help them develop ideas for new, year-round activities to maximise member engagement and volunteer satisfaction.

Operational Support
· Ensure our CRM is kept up to date with current volunteer details for each community.

We’re hiring a Fundraising Officer at WeSwim, this is a relationship-led fundraising role with real ownership and influence.
At WeSwim, we support disabled adults to swim in welcoming, inclusive volunteer run clubs across London. For many of our swimmers, the water offers a new freedom, easing pain, building confidence, and opening up new ways to move and connect. Our work is powered by community, care and people who believe swimming should be accessible to everyone.
We are looking for a Fundraising Officer to lead our community fundraising and individual giving efforts and help shape the future of WeSwim’s income.
We already have a strong community of swimmers and volunteers who care deeply about WeSwim. In this role, you’ll work with the community to create more fundraising activitym supporting our members to fundraise in ways that feel achievable, inclusive and meaningful. You’ll be the main point of contact for community fundraisers, creating simple tools and resources that help people feel confident getting involved.
You’ll also work closely with the CEO to develop and grow WeSwim’s individual giving and monthly donations, helping to transform our mix of income over time.
You’ll build thoughtful supporter journeys, create simple and engaging fundraising resources, and help deliver campaigns that clearly show the impact of WeSwim’s work. No two weeks will look the same, but every week will be purposeful and people-centred.
This is a part-time role (15 hours per week) with a high level of trust, autonomy and collaboration. It’s ideal for a proactive fundraiser who enjoys building relationships, thinking creatively and taking ownership. Someone who wants to be close to the ground and see their work make a tangible difference in a small charity.
