ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a creative and dynamic person with a proven track record in creating, delivering and managing digital content across social media platforms to develop, implement and manage strategies to grow our online presence and raise our profile.

You’ll have demonstrable experience across a wide range of social media platforms with the ability to craft engaging content to build a rapport with your audience while continuing to uphold our brand and professional values. You will be managing multiple accounts held by the charity.

You will have experience of using third party management tools to create, plan and schedule content, analysing reach and engagement, and using analytical tools to help make informed decisions about our digital marketing strategies. You will regularly report back to the management team feeding into our wider strategy discussions, making recommendations on future campaigns. 

You will be part of a wider communications team, working alongside the PR & Communications Manager, reporting to one of the trustees, fostering an organisation-wide approach working with all colleagues to ensure a planned, structured and collaborative approach to our communications and marketing planning.
As a small charity, flexibility is key to meet the needs of our shifting priorities and in between delivering and managing social media content – your primary focus –  you will additionally support wider marketing activities with creation of digital content to support charity advertising, support the development of our online (web) content and more general activities across the communications team. While there will be some level of existing experience, training will be provided for anything bespoke.

As part of the role, you will help our UK-based volunteers to develop local social media activities and support them as required. This may involve making recommendations in their approach, supporting content creation and upskilling them to gain confidence in using social media.

The role is remote and the successful applicant can work from a location of their choice, making optimum use of video conferencing and online collaboration tools to connect with the wider communications team.

Some UK travel within the role is expected with the charity reimbursing reasonable UK travel costs where agreed up front and on behalf of the charity. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Own and lead social media execution, from planning through to delivery across multiple accounts and multiple platforms
• Develop content and strategy for new (to IA) and new-to-market platforms
• Develop and deliver relevant content that drives awareness, engagement and conversation in line with IA’s aims and objectives
• Work closely with communications peers, wider staff and volunteers to deliver meaningful campaigns which aligns to IA’s purpose and support model

• Co-develop policies relating to your area of responsibility to ensure the management of online risks, suitability to content, data protection and safeguarding

PERSON SPECIFICATION

ESSENTIAL

• Experience in developing and implementing social media strategies and content in a similar role for at least 12 months 
• A thorough working knowledge of a wide range of social media platforms
• Third-party applications to manage social media content across a range of platforms in addition to regular reporting and provision of management information to help the team make informed decisions to support the wider charity’s wider digital marketing strategy. 
• Development of engaging and creative digital content
• Experience in social media moderation
• Working with and maintaining effective stakeholder relationships including our trustees, staff, volunteers and external medical professionals
• Digital marketing experience

• Familiarity with UK data protection regulation 

DESIRABLE

Interviews will be two-stage for successful candidates. About the Role

As a passionate professional in the identification, development and management of a wide range of relationships in support of our programme partnership, you will ensure the Career Ready programme in Renfrewshire and West Dunbartonshire continues to thrive, which includes securing charitable donations from supporting partners. You will work closely with our Programme & Partnerships Manager for Glasgow, in support of our work growing there.

Operation Christmas Child UK (OCC) has implemented a strategic volunteer ministry, investing in teams of volunteers who will multiply themselves and hugely extend the reach of OCC’s mission.

OCC is the world’s largest shoebox appeal where Samaritan’s Purse, together with local churches here and overseas, distributes from the UK 1/4 million gift-filled shoeboxes annually to children in need overseas and in so doing demonstrates God’s love in a tangible way while sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ.

A resourceful and energetic Regional Manager is needed to recruit, select, equip, and lead teams of volunteers throughout the greater West Midlands area and Wales. You will be passionate about developing others towards highly effective ministry, teamwork and increased personal competency. You will also directly engage churches to participate in OCC in areas not yet covered by Connect volunteers.

You will be confident to take initiative with people and projects and also have good administrative and organisational skills. You will also enjoy envisioning the numerous volunteers who participate in the OCC shoebox appeal each year.

You will enthusiastically support the Christian purposes of OCC and Samaritan’s Purse and be committed to the value of well-equipped volunteers and to developing them further. Candidates will have proven people and project management and administrative experience in the workplace and be educated to A levels or ideally Degree level.

This role is based in region and so prospective candidates should currently live in the region and provide their own transport for which defined expenses will be paid.

This is an exciting new role for the organisation which will focus on engaging with communities and recruiting and training volunteers to deliver peer support services for those living with lupus. As Community Services Coordinator you will work as part of a small, tight-knit team, and will facilitate co-production sessions with stakeholders across the lupus community, enabling beneficiaries to design and shape community-based services. The role will involve providing direct support to service users, producing regular reports, and supporting and managing volunteers to provide service resourcing. The organisation is particularly interested in developing their support offering across Northern Ireland and require someone who understands the health landscape and is confident to engage with a range of stakeholders to develop their offering.

Time Commitment and Remuneration

This role is part time with a commitment of approximately 2-3 days per year, including time spent preparing for meetings.  Meetings will usually take place via MS Teams but may on occasion be held at the GOC Offices in London or other suitable venues.

Members are paid up to £185 per meeting. This is taxable and subject to National Insurance (NI) contributions. This is in line with our member fees policy and member fee schedule.

The Role

Magic Breakfast’s mission is to champion and provide nourishing breakfasts that help children and young people learn and thrive. The latest research suggests that 2.7 million children are at risk of hunger, meaning one in five children don’t have enough to eat. JOB PURPOSE 

As Magic Breakfast continues to expand its reach to support growing numbers of children and young people across the UK, increasing our fundraised income is essential. To help drive this growth, we are seeking a full-time Partnership Development Manager to join our high-performing team and secure new, strategic, multi-year corporate partnerships. 

The purpose of the Partnership Development Manager role is to work closely with the Partnership Development Lead to shape and deliver our new business strategy. The role will focus on identifying, cultivating and securing new strategic, multi-year corporate partnerships, developing tailored and compelling propositions for prospective partners, and collaborating cross-functionally with Brand and Marketing, Operations, Volunteering, and other departments across the Charity to successfully bring these partnerships to life. 

Experience securing five- and six-figure partnerships is a plus, but most importantly, we’re looking for a confident, creative, and outgoing self-starter. Someone who is comfortable building relationships, pitching with conviction, and passionately championing our mission to win new strategic partners. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:  

Pipeline Development and Cultivation:   

• Build and manage a pipeline aligned to Magic Breakfast’s funding priorities, including restricted, unrestricted, and Gift-in-Kind opportunities, working closely with the Prospect Research Manager. 

• Secure meetings with prospective partners through creative outreach, networking, phone calls, and LinkedIn. 

• Cultivate prospects to conversion, tailoring messaging, approach, and engagement to each organisation. 

• Maintain accurate records in the database and ensure all risk screening, due diligence, and compliance with ethical and regulatory standards are completed. 

Planning, Pitching & Partnership Delivery 

• Research and understand each prospect’s strategic priorities to define mutually beneficial partnership opportunities. 

• Develop and deliver engaging pitches, proposals, and costed partnership plans. 

• Collaborate internally and with prospects to agree partnership vision, objectives, and KPIs. 

• Ensure contracts are appropriately prepared, explained, approved, and filed. 

• Facilitate smooth handovers of new partners to Account Managers or the Small Corporates team. 

General:  

• Work closely with the Partnership Development Lead and the wider team to contribute to the new business strategy, annual planning, and budgeting. 

• Collaborate with the Partnership Development Team to share ideas, troubleshoot challenges, embrace our test-and-learn culture, and support collective prospect development. 

• Maintain accurate forecasting in Salesforce, updating weekly to reflect progress and pipeline activity. 

• Monitor trends in corporate giving and competitor activity to identify opportunities and inform proposals.

• Build strong, collaborative relationships across the organisation to support partnership development.

• Actively participate in team meetings, supporting colleagues and sharing insights. 

• Represent Magic Breakfast at occasional external events. 

• Undertake other duties relevant to the role and adhere to all Magic Breakfast policies and procedures.

• Results driven: Motivated by targets with a relentless drive to convert opportunities into lasting partnerships that ensure Magic Breakfast can reach more children at risk of hunger.

• Technical proficiency: Confident using Microsoft Office and other IT tools to support presenting, reporting, and forecasting. 

Knowledge and experience  

• Corporate partnership expertise: Understanding of corporate acquisition strategies, donor motivations, and the cultivation process to secure high-value, strategic partnerships. 

• Proven track record: Experience developing and managing significant partnerships to maximise income and long-term impact. 

• Target-oriented: Comfortable working to financial targets and delivering measurable results. 

• CRM & data management: Skilled in using a CRM e.g., Salesforce to record, track, and analyse prospect information. 

• Sector knowledge: Familiarity with the UK charity landscape, fundraising trends, techniques, and best practice to inform partnership development.

The Charity Director is the leader of our charity and is the most senior paid role within AVPB.  The successful candidate will play a central role in shaping the organisation’s present and future.

We are looking for a Charity Director who provides leadership that encompasses income generation, fundraising, oversight of our programme quality and delivery, leads and supports our support staff, volunteers, and facilitators and will works closely with the Board of Trustees.
