We’re looking for someone who can inspire and collaborate, building strong, positive relationship. As one of our regionally dispersed Community Fundraiser’s, you’ll be joining a busy team, where you will manage relationships with our key supporters with the primary purpose of generating income across a geographical area, through community fundraising activities.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering income targets across the region by building strong relationships with individuals, local companies, community groups and volunteers, in line with our community fundraising strategy. You will also be responsible for the management and support of local third-party events in your region and in providing excellent stewardship to those supporters.
This role is home-based with regular travel across the region. There will also be regular travel to Diabetes UK offices for meetings.
This role will only be suited to candidates living within the Eastern Region (Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, Norfolk, and Suffolk).
You’ll be able to demonstrate a track record of meeting income targets through relationship fundraising. You’ll be experienced in building and maintaining relationships with supporters and colleagues. A proactive person, you’ll be self-motivated and able to work independently with a solution focused approach. As an experienced fundraiser, you’ll be confident working towards income and expenditure targets and reporting on financial progress. It is desirable that you have managed and secured corporate partnerships and have event management knowledge, though training will be provided.

About the role
We are looking for a Training & Youth Participation Officer for our UK Safeguarding on Transport Project. This is a Hybrid role with some home working and requires frequent travel and overnight stays across the UK.
As a Training and Participation Officer you will be responsible for the delivery of face to face and online training to various stakeholders and groups within the transport community ensuring that our partners and colleagues become our ‘eyes and ears’ in responding to and reporting safeguarding and vulnerability concerns. The NGO was founded in 1993, as the UK network for organisations working in international development. The Role
We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Digital Marketing Officer to support our Marketing & Communications Manager. In this role, you will be involved in the development and delivery of a variety of digital marcomms campaigns, with a specific responsibility to support the Fundraising Team in their goal to increase donor engagement, retention and acquisition.

Role Purpose
You will be responsible for building and maintaining partnerships with hyperlocal, local, and national businesses, stewarding the organisations to become Mustard Tree’s partners, and for us to be their ‘Charity of the Year’, donating to and fundraising for the charity.
You will manage an existing caseload of these valued partners, with the opportunity to proactively create new relationships and partnerships, contacting through multiple channels, creating content, and hosting, touring, and presenting to businesses.
In addition to corporate partnerships, you will manage the recruitment and stewardship of Mustard Tree’s events fundraisers, being responsible for the administration, making sure all places are filled, planning the events, and helping all participants hit their fundraising targets.
Main Duties
Corporate Partnership
- Steward a cohort of existing Corporate Partners through email updates, calls, social media activity and booking monthly check-ins, as well as sharing infographics, case studies, events information, and newsletters when useful.
- Proactively build new relationships, ultimately securing new donors, partners, and ‘Charity of the Year’ organisations. Make it clear and easy for donors to understand what we do, how they can help, and the impact they will have.
- Host, tour, or present at a minimum of four organisations per week.
- Manage inquiries, emails, and queries relating to partnerships, corporate donations, volunteering, and events, ensuring timely responses.
- Manage the partnership inbox and work with the Fundraising team on our corporate bookings calendar.
- Work with the Fundraising and Volunteer Coordinator to plan and book Social Value Days for partners and prospective partners.
- Collaborate with the Fundraising and Communications team to develop and publish copy, advertisements, social media content, and create WordPress pages relevant to Corporate Partnership and Events.
- Host Corporate Partners for their volunteering inductions and debriefs and follow up with a thank-you email the same week.
- Manage data entry and administration surrounding partnerships, including communication, contacts, setting targets, and funds raised, through software and our CRM, for example.

Events Fundraising
- Manage our existing events portfolio of The Great Manchester Run, Tough Mudder, Trafford Abseil, October Half Marathon, being responsible for their success.
- Investigate and develop new events to complement our 12-month calendar.
- Empower organisations to plan independent fundraising events and create a fundraising toolkit to support this.
- Support the running of our October Fundraising Dinner
- Work with the Fundraising Manager to project events income and build a 12-month fundraising pipeline.
General Duties
- Supporting the Fundraising Team et al, including administration, cover, and events attendance when required.

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Senior Finance Manager with a locally-led charity dedicated to ensuring the rights of children in west Africa on a permanent, full-time basis. As Senior Finance Manager you will lead the charity’s financial operations and play an important part in strengthening their financial systems and processes. About the role
At Young Lives vs Cancer, we have our own unique role to play in reaching the North Star. We know our strengths and where we can have the most impact to best support children and young people with cancer. Within our new strategy ‘The Time is Now’ we set out four strategic ambitions, the first stating we will continue to be a major service delivery provider: offering high quality, impactful services. We are proud to lead the way in delivering high-level, psychosocial support and accommodation services throughout cancer treatment, end-of-life, and bereavement and we want to ensure our investment in this area is optimised to make sure we always provide the tailored support that children, young people and families need and that our services remain relevant.
You will be joining an established operational leadership team who are committed to continuous service improvement. Service Managers play a key leadership role in the management and development of a region, which is made up of three social work teams located alongside Principal Treatment Centres which are Leeds, Newcastle and Sheffield. Your responsibilities will include delivering service standards, and compliance. You will interface with NHS stakeholder colleagues to promote effective governance and multi-disciplinary relationships with a focus on smooth referral pathways. The team meets weekly to discuss management of the overall service-this effectively allows all team members to play an active role. In addition, to your designated region you will have a lead area of responsibility-this will be Deputy Safeguarding Lead. About the role:
Respect is seeking two Helplines Advisors to provide support to male victims of domestic abuse on the Men’s Advice Line and perpetrators of domestic abuse on the Respect Phoneline.
You will support service users by phone, email and webchat, providing emotional support, practical advice, information on the available options, and signposting to other services. As well as work with male victims and perpetrators of domestic abuse in ways that support them to increase safety and reduce harm, as described in the Models of Work and relevant policies and procedures.
About you:
- An understanding of the nature of domestic abuse and its effects on victims, in particular male victims
- An understanding of the help-seeking barriers for male victims of domestic abuse
- An understanding of the reasons why perpetrators use abusive behaviours towards partners in relationships
- Experience of providing information, advice, and support by telephone, email and webchat in a helpline environment
- A commitment to anti-discriminatory practice and an approach that centres survivors, in particular Black and minoritised survivors.

The Role
To undertake all aspects of warehouse duties, ensuring effective, safe and efficient distribution of food each day. You will have responsibility for coordination of our food stock, from goods-in to picking, dispatch and stock rotation and will be expected to drive vans, and Fork Lift Trucks (training provided). Working closely with the wider team and volunteers, you will also support the monitoring and utilisation of warehouse space, stock, deliveries and collections to ensure food reaches its destination amongst our members safely, on time and in full.
Key duties and responsibilities:
1. Operations
- Undertake all warehouse duties, ensuring effective, safe and efficient co-ordination and distribution and of food
- To work to performance indicators so that stock is accurate and delivery routes are efficient to allow the organisation to grow
- To ensure that all work areas – both inside and outside the warehouse - are clean, organised and safe to work in
- Follow all H&S and Food Safety standards set out in the FareShare policies and procedures to ensure the safety of all our colleagues & visitors, and the safe receipt of food by all our members.
- Undertake van/Fork Lift Truck driving duties to ensure effective, efficient timely and safe delivery & collection of food, in line with compliance standards
- Ensuring great customer service in delivery
- Loading and unloading, sorting for, and following deliveries, ensuring safe lifting, and carrying
- Keep vehicles refuelled, maintained, operational and clean and tidy, ready for the next delivery run
- Refer van “issues”, in a timely manner to Transport Department to ensure minimum disruption to service delivery
- Undertake all checks and procedures from pre-delivery to post-delivery
- Ensure lock up, parking and storage of vans and equipment following completion of deliveries
2. Volunteer Communication & Co-ordination
- Work closely with the volunteer teams a diverse group ranging from regular and long-term, volunteers, placements (e.g. Job Centre) to business people having just a 1-day volunteering experience – to ensure that all shift duties are covered and teams work effectively
- Provide leadership and guidance to volunteers, ensuring they follow all policies and procedures, high standards of accuracy are maintained and their volunteer experience with FSM is a satisfying one.
- Work closely with the Warehouse Manager, Volunteer Manager & wider staff team with the recruitment, training and development of volunteers in the context of our commitment to Equal Opportunities
- Participate in end of day reviews and planning for the next day’s activities
- Maintain excellent relations and communications with volunteers, staff, food suppliers and charities, at all times
3. Standards
- Ensure compliance with relevant Health & Safety, Food Hygiene and other standards applicable to the building, vehicles, refrigeration equipment, our staff and volunteers. carrying out risk assessments as required
- Uphold and develop high quality customer care towards & communication with our Community Food Members (CFMs)
4. Administration
- Ensure that food movements are accurately logged on the electronic stock management system
- Carry out depot administration, including running reports, correspondence with member groups, updating volunteer records
- Ensure that relevant administrative matters are dealt with in a timely way, for instance food safety traces & customer complaints.

Desirable Experience

- No major endorsements on license such as DR, DG or IN. Successful candidates will have a full clean UK driving license (6 points or less will be considered)
- Previous multi-drop experience is preferred however not essential.
- The role requires manually loading stock into a van (up to 20/30kg) and unload each delivery
- A good geographical knowledge of the County and surrounding area would be helpful.
