Responsibilities of our Health & Safety and Environment Administrator: 

- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Health, Safety & Environment team 

- Manage shared inboxes, responding to or escalating enquiries as appropriate 

- Coordinate meetings, training and site visits, including scheduling, logistics and action tracking 

- Collect, collate, organise and report on Health & Safety and Environmental data 

- Support the continuous improvement of systems, processes and documentation

About the Health & Safety and Environment team: 

The team is a multi-tasking team that undertakes most Health and Safety tasks in-house, working closely with most other teams within Cats Protection. The team is made up of a head of department, senior officer, environment and sustainability lead, administrator and 4 regional officers who cover the whole of the UK. The team deal with the Cats Protection retail outlets, Cat Centres, accident investigations, DSE, branch volunteer enquiries and more.

What we’re looking for in our Health & Safety and Environment Administrator: 

- Experience of providing administration support to a health & safety or environment team 

- Experience of handling and collating health & safety and/or environmental data, including tracking and reporting on utility consumption and energy usage 

- Experience working with a range of internal stakeholders and responding to queries 

- Experience managing shared inboxes, calendars and coordinating meetings 

- Strong organisational, communication and collaboration skills 

- Proficient in all Microsoft Office programmes 

- Proactive attitude to problem solving and managing administrative tasks

Description

The Survivor Support Fund ("the Fund") has been established by the Archbishops' Council to provide short to medium-term support to people who have experienced Church of England-related abuse and who are facing an urgent and immediate need for assistance as a result.

Funding decisions are made by an independent panel drawn from a variety of backgrounds, including professionals and those with lived experience of abuse, and chaired by a person independent from the Church. We are now seeking to establish this panel.

The Fund has three priorities: signposting to statutory agencies, local resources and relevant charities; grant for therapeutic support; and grant for basic needs.

The Fund will be easy to access, and aspects of the design of the Fund were co-produced with victims and survivors. Based on findings from consultation and co-production, the Archbishops' Council approved a Terms of Reference that set out the criteria and parameters of the Fund. Panel decisions will be regularly reviewed to ensure fairness and equity in all applications.

Panels are held as often as needed - it is anticipated that this will be fortnightly. With a pool of panel members, frequency of meetings will vary on volume of applications, and it is anticipated panel members will attend a meeting every one to two months. The Panel meetings will be conducted online via Microsoft Teams.

Decision Panel meetings are expected to last up to about an hour and a half, depending on the number and complexity of discussions required. Panel members are required to review panel papers before meetings.

Panel members will be supported by the two Panel Secretaries to the Fund (staff members of the National Safeguarding Team).

Panel members can come from backgrounds of different faiths or no faith.

Remuneration

Panel members will be recruited as consultants at a rate of £125 per panel meeting, including preparation, meeting time and any correspondence after meetings. The contract will be for three years.

Panel members will invoice the Archbishops' Council on a monthly basis and be responsible for their own tax arrangements.

A note on data protection

As an organisation, we have to comply with data protection law. Under such laws you will be a data processor on behalf of the Archbishops' Council, and we will be sharing sensitive and confidential data with you as panel member.

The role of data processor comes with responsibilities and obligation which you must accept if you wish to act as panel members. For example, you cannot use, share or alter information shared with you for the purpose other than your role as a panel member of the Fund. This is to protect panel members as well as the applicants who come to the Fund. We will provide mandatory training to ensure panel members understand their responsibilities.

Panel members will be required to complete a Basic DBS check and provide two references. These processes must be completed ahead of their first panel.

Panel members will also be required to undertake mandatory training, including:

• Church of England National Safeguarding Basic Awareness training (1 hour and 15 minutes)

Role Purpose

Manages the creative development and production of Trussell's visual media content, including photography, film and animation, building stronger connections with our supporters, partners and donors to increase funding, campaigning, and other forms of support for our work. Responsible for capturing and editing for a range of channels, scheduling activities and liaising with external and internal stakeholders in support of Trussell’s communication objectives.

Key Responsibilities

· Image quality and production
Oversees the production and quality of all images, film, animation and short-form content to showcase the work of Trussell and our food bank community, both through hands-on delivery and commissioning agencies and suppliers.

· Elevate and apply brand styles
Edits, amends, and enhances material for bespoke projects with particular attention to brand, tone, house style, accessibility and channel fit, to ensure key messages are delivered in an impactful way.

· Create compelling narratives and solutions
Creates, develops and repurposes required assets for content needs, working collaboratively with the Content team, and acting as an expert to advise and guide the production of compelling narratives, repeatable formats and creative solutions.

· Support with consultancy expertise
Provides consultancy assistance to departments across the organisation and food banks in the network to spot content opportunities and develop and use content to communicate effectively with target audiences.

Leads creative projects and related processes in house or with external suppliers, from brief to delivery, including production schedules, storyboards and concepts to meet budget and requirements.

Role: Project Manager 

We are seeking a highly organised, proactive, and enthusiastic Project Manager to coordinate our TeenTech events and activities. You will be working within a highly experienced team (including lead project managers) and the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in delivering and co-ordinating impactful projects that engage teenagers and schools across the UK. 

Main Responsibilities 

• Co-ordinating school/college participation in our activities. 

• Supporting the planning, execution, and delivery of TeenTech festivals, events and projects from inception to completion. 

• Monitor project progress, reporting regularly to project leads. 

• Develop and maintain timelines, project documentation, and risk assessments. 

• Promote TeenTech initiatives via events, presentations, and communications. 

• Evaluate project impact and implement continuous improvements. 

Person Specification 

• Proven experience in project management, ideally within education, youth engagement, or STEM fields. 

• Exceptional organisational and communication skills. 

• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders. 

• Experience in managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines.

Location & Working Arrangements 

• This role is open to UK-based candidates who have the legal right to work in the UK. 

• The position is primarily home-based (remote), with attendance required at in-person events throughout the UK. 

• The successful candidate will be expected to travel to approximately 12–18 events annually. Depending on the event location, this will usually involve an overnight stay. 

• Terms: 12 month contract. There may be an opportunity to extend.  

• Working pattern: Part-time role, flexible working (30 hours) per week. 

• Salary: £30,000–£32,000 FTE (pro rata 0.8FTE).

This is a varied and rewarding role, offering the opportunity to make a genuine and lasting impact on the welfare of cats, volunteers, and colleagues.

What we’re looking for in our Surveyor: 

- Flexible regional portfolio covering the South East of England and a small number of outer London properties. Applicants should live within a reasonable travelling distance of the region

- Level 6 or higher professional surveying qualification and current membership of a professional institution

Responsibilities

Finance & Board Administration

• Financial Oversight: Manage invoice creation, process team expenses, have a good understanding of our overall budget, and pull monthly budget reports from Sage for budget holders.

• Reporting: Prepare core financial reports for the board (budget vs. actuals, projections, cash flow charts) and support fundraising financial queries.

• Board Support: Coordinate quarterly board meetings, manage agendas/slides, take action notes (utilising AI tools), and track the risk and action logs.

Operations, HR & Governance

• HR Support: Manage employee onboarding/offboarding, set up equipment, update personnel databases, and prep monthly payroll, working together with our People & Culture team.

• Compliance & Governance: Ensure Companies House records, CIC documentation, insurance policies, and GDPR compliance are strictly up to date, supplier contracts management.

• Team Culture: Plan team-building events, manage co-working events, and coordinate team gifts and milestone cards.

Data Integrity & Digital Championship

• Digital Champion: Act as the internal expert for HubSpot and Wrike, providing staff training and sharing tips on leveraging AI for productivity.

• Centralised Knowledge Wiki: set up and maintain an internal knowledge Wiki (Confluence), maintain up-to date information, assure everyone on the team has access to information they need

Support to Co-directors and PV UK team:

• Week-to-Week and Ad hoc support: preparing budget queries, business cases, liaising with the external provider for bookkeeping / accounting etc.

• Further support: creating monthly and quarterly reports in HubSpot

Qualifications

• Exceptional administrative skills to manage everything from HR onboarding and wellbeing scheduling to high-level Board preparation and Director support.

• A strong eye for detail to proofread and edit internal and external communications, ensuring different pieces of content meet grammar, tone, and branding standards.

• Ability to maintain meticulous data integrity in our CRM for programme and fundraising activities.

• Prepared to embrace being a ‘Digital Champion’, helping team members to learn and embrace platforms we use such as Wrike / Hubspot / Gemini.
