Job Title: IT and Data Support Officer

Location: Based within Islington (Please note, there is no step free access). You will also work flexibly across multiple services including Elephant and Castle, Havering and central office, as well as some home working might be possible

Salary: £28,560

Shift Pattern: 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday between 09:00 - 17:00. Flexibility may be required as per requirements of the service/department

About the role

We are looking for an IT and Data Officer to join our central team, working in collaboration with our services which are our Independent Approved Premises (IAP). You will maintain and support our data systems and IT infrastructure across our services, responsible for managing CRM systems and supporting with first line IT queries which could include ticketing requests, troubleshooting, technical issues, and liaising with internal and external partners to ensure consistent and timely data reporting.

You will work across multiple projects to ensure performance metrics are accurately tracked and communicated, proactively identifying and addressing any data or system related issues. You will support with continuous improvement for the service and wider organisation.

About you

We're looking for someone who is passionate about IT and data, able to utilise this within a practical working environment. You will be confident in using various tools and software with transferrable skills. We're looking for someone who understands SIG and what we do as an organisation, with a judgement free mindset, and comfortable working within any of our services, able to build good professional relationships with our staff internally, our residents, and external partners. We look for:

• Skills in data input, extraction, and reporting
• Skills in online platforms and systems, ideally Power BI, Trello, Inform, and Microsoft Office
• Familiarity in externally used systems by Ministry of Justice is highly desirable
• Ability to translate and present technical knowledge and information to non-technical teams
• Ability to deliver training to staff at all levels in reference to use of systems and develop training videos/materials

Job description

Job Purpose

• The home and settle service works collaboratively with hospitals to support people when they are discharged from hospital to return home. You will provide temporary practical and emotional support to service users within their home and make sure they understand the care and treatment choices available to them. The service is time limited, usually up to 6 weeks, to adjust and settle back in their homes. 

Key Tasks

•  Assess the needs of service users in hospital before discharge, and in their homes, and understand what barriers and enablers there might be to moving home.
• Aid the discharge process and improve patient experience through tasks such as key cutting and co-ordinating with colleagues for the setup of the home environment.
• Provide (and/or arrange) the practical and emotional support needed to enable service users to move home and/or remain safely at home.
• Be vigilant and make referrals/signpost for additional needs that our wider team, or partners can support. E.g. for benefit checks, energy advice, carers support, befriending. 
• Help maximise service user independence by adopting an enabling approach.
• Develop a listening and caring relationship with the service user and their families/carers.
• Provide domestic practical support within the home e.g. light cleaning, washing, ironing (service user clothing only) etc.
• Prepare and service drinks and simple meals with or for the service user customer ensuring nutritional needs are met in accordance with individual support plan.
• Accompany service user outside the home e.g. hospital/GP appointments etc.
• Support customers with other tasks e.g. making telephone calls on their behalf, reading and responding to correspondence, completing simple forms (training will be provided) as directed by the customer etc.
• Ensure services provided by AUKEL in the community are safe and person centred.
• Report safeguarding concerns, in accordance with AUKEL safeguarding procedures.
• Work within AUKEL’s expectations of professional boundaries and confidentiality.
• Provide cover in the case of sickness and annual leave periods of colleagues.
• Support service user reviews, ensuring all visiting information is uploaded on to AUKEL’s organisational case management system.
• Meet with volunteers to provide support and guidance.
• Work with a range of professionals including:
• Supporting health and social care professionals with patient discharge
• Liaising with the Hospital health and social care professionals to facilitate smooth supported discharge.

Administration

• Input all records, reviews, and visiting information to service user’s case notes in a timely manner to maintain up-to-date and accurate records on AUKEL’s case management system (currently Charity Log/Call-round App).
• Report all “no access” failed visits, or changes in service users’ condition or circumstances in accordance with AUKEL’s policies and procedures.
• Ensure service user comment sheets are completed.
• Support the return of Customer Comment sheets and general feedback in respect of your own service users.

Quality

• Ensure services provided in the community are delivered in line with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) principles.
• Deliver all work in line with AUKEL quality mark standards.
• Commit to undertaking the Care Certificate, if not already held or in possession of NVQ level 2.
• Complete essential training as required by AUKEL to provide safe services.

Liaison

• Work in collaboration with other agencies providing support within the customer's home.
• Work under the direction of the service manager and project officers.
• Represent AUKEL and participate in appropriate external meetings and events to remain aware of local, regional, and national issues affecting quality and compliance issues affecting care and home support services. Head of Hospital and Home Services

As the Head of Engagement and Communications, you’ll support the Executive Director in leading AMOSSHE as a senior leader. The Miscarriage of Justice Support Service is a very unique service providing a broad range of support and advice to people whose criminal convictions are quashed by the Court of Appeal. The majority of people have been in prison for many years and need extensive help and support to begin to rebuild their lives based on their own individual needs.

One of our caseworkers is going on a sabbatical, which this role will cover, including 2 weeks of handover at the start, and 1 week at the end.

The role will support individuals in a broad range of areas including welfare benefits, housing, navigating access to GPs, mental health support, community services, and applying for grants or essentials post-release (e.g. white goods, clothing).

The role involves one-to-one contact in a way that best meets the person – for this role it will typically be by telephone and email, but it can also be in person. Clients live across England and Wales.

You will come with experience of providing advice and practical support to people with varied needs. You will have experience of working with a trauma-informed approach and have excellent people skills to build and maintain trusting relationships.

General

• Act as the main liaison for a number of SASC’s outsourced supplier relationships – finance, compliance, company benefits, tax, company secretarial and HR, IT support.
• Manage the day-to-day use of financial and HR systems and apps, such as those to process staff expenses, and ensure that they are used as intended.
• Ensure adherence to the company procedures and controls, and suggest improvement where appropriate.

Finance

• Review monthly payroll / pensions data elements.

• Review compliance data and collate information for quarterly FCA regulatory filings.
• Coordinate the provision of information as part of periodic compliance monitoring.

IT/Office Management

• Responsible for maintaining the IT equipment register (incl. laptops and mobiles) and ensuring the smooth onboarding of joiners and offboarding of leavers in relation to IT matters.
• Oversee general office duties for the London office (e.g. office supplies).
• Provide ad-hoc assistance to the CFOO as required.

• Amplify Voice 21's reputation and standing in the sector, positioning Voice 21 as the 'oracy authority' through insightful, thought-provoking communications
• Work closely with the Head of Learning to ensure effective communication of the impact Voice 21's work is having in schools across the UK
• Work collaboratively across the organisation to develop key messages for audiences, including both education and non-education stakeholders
• Lead on the refinement and maintenance of Voice 21's brand, including visual identity and tone of voice
• Lead on the management of Voice 21's external channels, including website and social media
• Evaluate and report on the effectiveness of Voice 21's communications, using appropriate research and monitoring approaches
• Work closely with the Campaign Manager to oversee Voice 21's annual campaigns, ensuring they align with our strategic objectives
• Work closely with the Events Lead to oversee Voice 21's events programme, including Oracy October and the Great Oracy Exhibition, and the development of the events function as a cross-organisational 'service'
• Work creatively and collaboratively across Voice 21, and with external partners, to develop new campaigns that meet strategic objectives
• Provide inspirational leadership to your team of four direct reports, prioritising their professional development and wellbeing
• Represent Communications and Campaigns on the Whole Leadership Team, contributing to organisational leadership, planning and performance management.

We'd love to hear from candidates with the following skills and experience:

• Proven leadership within either Communications or Campaigns, with a strong understanding of both
• Solid experience in the development of compelling and strategic key messages in education, public sector or non-profit settings
• Experience with monitoring, evaluation and target-setting regarding communications and campaigns
• Proven track record of writing to a high standard for external publication, such as reports, press releases, op-eds and blog posts
• Experience leading or supporting cross-functional teams
• Able to form excellent working relationships with internal and external stakeholders

• Experience with data-driven approaches to communications, e.g. familiarity with web analytics, campaign monitoring software, etc.

About this role…

We are looking for a Senior Practitioner to join the Martha Jones House team.

Thames Reach’s hostels are transitional spaces where a 24 hour staff team support people to move in, assess their needs, and quickly identify the best place for them to move on to next. Skilled staff teams develop personalised support plans to ensure people are ready to move on and are accessing support with their health, substance misuse, criminal justice and life skills needs

You will be:

• Overseeing the day-to-day management and staffing of a fast-paced 50-bed hostel.
• Responsible for directly line-managing the staff team; carrying out inductions, supervisions, probation reviews and appraisals.
• Reporting incidents to senior management and commissioners and ensure staff are trained and confident in incident response and health & safety protocol.
• Leading on referrals in and out of the hostel; supporting the team to focus on engaging service users towards positive move-on.
• Working closely with the Lead Manager & in-house Clinical Psychologist; fostering a culture of high performance and continual striving to improve upon successes throughout your team. 
• Developing and managing partnerships with key agencies across London. Working closely with the Lambeth Pathway Manager to support smooth & timely moves across the Pathway.

Main duties include:

• Provide first point of contact on site for Local Authority staff, occupants, Look Ahead colleagues, contractors and visitors
• Carry out day to day management of the building including managing breaches of house rules, including alerting Local Authority when tenancy enforcement action is required

The post-holder will:

• Be the main point of contact for Local Authority partner and contractors and carry out day to day management of the building and the facilities
• Manage all void processes - void inspections and void event monitoring
• Report maintenance issues and repairs

• 2 years experience of working in housing or a related field.

We’re seeking an experienced part-time Grants Manager to join a respected mental health charity on a 5-month fixed-term contract. You’ll help deliver an ambitious community grants programme supporting people affected by psychosis across South London.

Working with grassroots and racially minoritised community organisations, you’ll oversee current grants, shape the next round of funding, and ensure the charity’s inclusive approach to grant making continues to thrive.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of 20+ grassroots community grants.
• Design and run an inclusive assessment process for the next funding round.
