What does this role do?
As Portfolio Investment and Benefits Specialist, you will:
- help us understand how we articulate, analyse and communicate benefits across the organisation, ensuring all our activity delivers tangible benefits and brings us closer to us delivering our aims,
- collaborate with stakeholders, including project leads and finance, to identify and monitor project budgets, assumptions and costings,
- support with prioritisation and affordability modelling of activity, as well as supporting feasibility assessment and investment decision-making,
- lead on the delivery of a benefits register for the organisation, ensuring we can monitor and report on outcomes against measurable success criteria,
- share knowledge of benefits realisation with key stakeholders, building organisational understanding and insight of benefits and how we can embed it within the organisation to make more impact.

The team supports retail outlets, Cat Centres, accident investigations, DSE, and branch volunteer enquiries.
What we’re looking for in our Health and Safety Officer:
-Lives in or around the South-West of England or South Wales
- NEBOSH general certificate (or equivalent) and membership of a relevant professional body
- Significant experience (3+ years post qualification) in a similar health & safety role, ideally in public sector, facilities, or charity setting
- Experience working across multiple sites
- Strong knowledge of health & safety legislation and best practices
- Excellent communication and influencing skills across all levels
- Able to work independently, manage workload, and perform under pressure
- Organised, pragmatic, and professional with a flexible, positive attitude

The Farming Community Network (FCN) is a UK-wide voluntary organisation and charity that aims to improve the health and wellbeing of people in farming and ‘walk with’ people at times of difficulty and change. We are recruiting a part-time Trust Fund and Legacy Development Manager. You will be reporting to the Head of Partnerships.

The Trust Fund and Legacy Development Manager will be responsible for:
Trusts:
- Lead on the development and delivery of a new trust fundraising strategy.
- Identify, research and write compelling applications to meet and / or exceed income targets.
- Oversight and management of relationships with existing and new trusts and foundations and delivering funding reports to a high and consistent standard, including evaluating impact.
- Writing and submitting high-quality bids and tailored proposals to secure charity funding from trusts, foundations, grant providers and other sources.

- Gather information from existing content and new sources to draft updates and other stewardship communications for individuals and legacy families.

Essential Criteria:
· Strong verbal and written communication skills with excellent attention to detail.
· Excellent customer/donor care experience with a proven track record of exceptional listening skills.
· Methodical and organised approach to tasks with meticulous attention to detail with the ability to plan and prioritise.
· Experience in supporter acquisition, retention, and the development of supporters.
· Experience in writing funding bids, grants and proposals and tailoring bids to requirement and working to strict deadlines.

MLC Partners are partnering with CAFOD (Catholic Agency for Overseas Development) to recruit their next Head of Finance.
CAFOD is the official aid agency of the Catholic Church in England and Wales and part of Caritas International. This is a pivotal appointment, responsible for providing strategic financial leadership across an organisation operating within a complex, international and multi-funded environment.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the Director of Core Services, you’ll lead CAFOD’s newly formed Integrated Finance Team, bringing together four key areas:
- Financial compliance & risk management
- Financial & management insights
- Financial services & business support
- Financial capacity strengthening
This is a broad leadership role combining strategy, financial stewardship, transformation and people leadership. You’ll work closely with the Leadership Team and Trustees, providing the financial insight, challenge and assurance needed to support effective decision-making and CAFOD’s long-term sustainability.
The role
Strategic Leadership
Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and scenario modelling, while helping shape and deliver CAFOD’s finance strategy and long-term financial objectives.
Executive & Board Partnership
Act as a trusted strategic partner to senior leadership, the Finance, Legal and Audit/Risk Committee and Board of Trustees, providing high-quality financial analysis, advice and assurance.
Financial Governance
Take overall responsibility for financial integrity, statutory compliance, controls and the accuracy of financial reporting across CAFOD’s UK and international operations.
Transformation & Improvement
Challenge established ways of working and drive improvements across financial systems, processes, reporting and automation.
People Leadership
Lead, motivate and develop the Integrated Finance Team, creating clear direction and building a collaborative, high-performing finance function.
About You
We’re looking for an established finance leader who combines strong technical expertise with the ability to influence, challenge and operate confidently at senior level.
- A professional accounting qualification — ICAEW, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent
- Significant post-qualified finance leadership experience
- Experience within the INGO sector is highly preferred, while experience of international development through a partnership model is desirable.
- Experience supporting Boards, Finance/Audit Committees and Leadership teams
- A track record of developing and implementing finance strategy
- Strong experience of leading, developing and motivating finance teams
- The ability to lead change and improve systems and ways of working
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- High levels of integrity, accountability and commitment to mission-driven work

We’re looking for an experienced project and business improvement professional with a proven ability to lead complex projects, engage stakeholders and successfully deliver organisational change.
You will have strong project management, analytical and influencing skills, with the ability to balance competing priorities, develop robust business cases and provide clear, evidence-based recommendations to senior decision-makers.
Working across a varied portfolio of initiatives, you will apply sound judgement and a pragmatic approach to provide the right level of challenge, coordination and project leadership. You will be adaptable, proactive and comfortable operating in a dynamic environment. A recognised project management qualification, such as PRINCE2 or APM PMQ, is desirable but not essential.

What can we offer you?
The salary for this role is £52,000 - £58,000 per annum dependant on relevant skills and experience.
You will initially be entitled to 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays. The Foundation also offer a generous pension scheme (8% employer contribution), free healthcare provision, a monthly gym subsidy, death in service benefit free match tickets and access to selected events at Wembley.

The consultant will work alongside Thrombosis UK staff who already deliver digital communications, social media, volunteer engagement and patient support.
