The Lessons from Auschwitz (LFA) Project is a course for students in post-16 education delivered throughout the UK. The project has taken over 49,000 students and teachers to the former Nazi concentration and death camp Auschwitz-Birkenau. The project aims to increase knowledge and comprehension of the Holocaust and to signal what can happen if prejudice and racism become acceptable. Students then pass on the lessons they have learnt to their community. The project has been described as ‘life changing’ and can leave an unforgettable emotional and educational mark on participants.
As a Project Coordinator you would run specific courses and have ownership over their administration from start to finish. Joining this team would be an opportunity to help deliver a project that is used as a benchmark for excellence in Holocaust education worldwide.

Age UK Croydon have an established befriending service providing one-to-one befriending for older people in their home. We are now launching a new and exciting Gift of Friendship (GoF) Programme to run alongside this existing face to face and telephone befriending service.
The GoF programme will offer a new additional person-centred companionship service where volunteers and older people are matched to reduce loneliness and isolation together. The service is person centred and dependent on the goals of the individual which could include, going for a walk, going shopping, attending activities or helping an older person to build or regain confidence in going out and about and developing more social connections.
We are looking for excellent people skills, a strong initiative, and effective communications, including an ability to build relationships with clients and volunteers, and undertake matching in an astute and sensitive manner. You will also need excellent administration skills with high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.

Leading on operational projects, including:

Dementia UK is currently seeking two Database Officers to lead on the delivery of processes within the Database Services team.
As a Database Officer, your primary responsibility will be managing a substantial volume of data files from a variety of sources, seamlessly importing this information into our fundraising database. You will handle supporter data ensuring a high level of accuracy, while being directly responsible for running the majority of data imports as well as handling enquires coming into the Database Services shared inbox and running regular data cleansing routines.
In addition, you will be expected to maintain data management standards, assisting with the implementation of processes and policies ensuring best practice is followed. Working with the Supporter Care, Finance, and Fundraising teams to ensure income is accurately coded across all fundraising streams and maintaining the accuracy of database process guidance.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of data protection guidelines including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and will bring previous experience in using databases for data entry, maintenance, and importation. A high level of computer literacy is essential, and comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, is required. Your ability to function effectively within a team, coupled with your initiative in prioritising and organising your workload, will be key to success.
With the charity’s move from Raiser’s Edge to Dynamics 365, you will also be involved in the testing of the new database, training of end users, and the writing of new process documentation. It is an exciting time to be joining Database Services, and there will be opportunities for personal development and the acquisition of a broad base of technical skills across the work of the team.

Role Requirements
- Adheres to the Nursing & Midwifery Council (NMC) Standards of Conduct, Performance and Ethics for nurses and midwives at all times.
- Maintains clear and identified professional boundaries at all times.
- Provides a high quality of direct care, as evidenced by clinical audit, placing the child/young person and their families at the centre of all planning.
- Undertakes assessment, care planning and evaluation of children’s care needs collaboratively with families, taking action to address any issues or complications.
- Ensures individualised high-quality care is delivered at all times, that is underpinned by evidence-based practice, policy and guidance. This will involve a range of complex care such as enteral feeding, tracheostomy care and ventilatory support.
Although this role is based within The Children’s Trust School, you will be required to work on a 52-week contract.
With experience of working in a complex environment, across a large and diverse workforce, you will be exceptionally organised with a high-level of attention to detail. You will naturally possess excellent inter-personal skills, and an ability to consult and positively engage with key stakeholders across the organisation.

You will play a vital role in coordinating care and supporting the management of the House, serving as a key contact for families and the multidisciplinary team.
