About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and values-driven Operations Lead to play a key leadership role within The Launchpad Collective. This is an exciting opportunity for a confident, organised, and proactive individual who is motivated by social impact and committed to improving the lives of refugees.

As Operations Lead, you will oversee the smooth running of the organisation, manage people and departments, and support the senior leadership team to ensure our programmes are delivered effectively and sustainably. This role requires someone with several years’ experience in operational management and people leadership, who thrives in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

About the role
We are recruiting for a Philanthropy Manager (Major Donors) to join on a full-time basis, working 35 hours per week on a permanent contract.

This is a home-based role, though you will be required to frequently travel to attend donor meetings and some team-based meetings and training (travel expenses will be covered by the Society). You must reside in the UK, have the correct right to work documents to work in the UK and able to reliably travel to London on a regular basis.

As Philanthropy Manager you will help us to reach our goal of securing £5+ million a year from Major Donors by 2027.

In this role, you will work with the Major Donor Lead to forge new relationships, grow our prospect pipeline and build connections with sector specialists (such as wealth managers). This role will give you the chance to deliver meaningful impact on the lives of people affected by dementia.

About you
Joining us, you will have a proven record of securing major gifts from philanthropic individuals. You will have an entrepreneurial approach and be able to demonstrate how you have secured new opportunities and built lasting relationships and long-term income.
  
You will be a confident and engaging communicator, adept at collaborating with stakeholders internally and externally. You must understand the motivations of social impact investing for supporters and be curious and highly motivated about ending the devastation caused by dementia.

This role provides a great opportunity for an established fundraiser to grow our pipeline, an area that we know has huge potential for growth. You will get the opportunity to work on a variety of interesting and vital programmes of work that provide help and hope for everyone affected by dementia.

What you’ll focus on:

- Forging close relationships with philanthropists.
- Managing a portfolio of donors, to provide our supporters with best in sector stewardship.
- Building networks with philanthropic ‘intermediaries’, such as private wealth managers and family offices.
-  Cross-team working with our Insurance United Against Dementia and Sport United Against Dementia development boards, to grow our philanthropic networks.

The Finance Manager role will make a significant difference to how we manage our finances, at an operational and strategic planning level.  We are looking for an individual who is excited by the prospect of transforming our financial governance and management. 

Role overview:

The Finance Manager will work closely with the CEO, Treasurer, and bookkeeper to manage daily financial functions, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive financial performance - including budgeting and forecasting. 

• Contract and working conditions: This is a fixed-term role (initially 18 months) which we envisage will transition to a permanent position. Hours will initially be 17.5 hours per week with remote and flexible working arrangements. Candidates must have the right to work in the UK and be based in the UK.

• Strategic responsibilities: The Finance Manager will support financial target delivery, ensure robust financial systems, and align financial processes with organisational growth and strategy. 

• Operational duties: Responsibilities include preparation of management accounts and all financial reporting, cash flow forecasting, grant management, VAT and tax compliance, audit support, and process improvements. The role also involves liaising with external suppliers and stakeholders and overseeing payroll and pension scheme implementation and management.

• Governance and compliance: The Finance Manager will ensure adherence to the requirements of the Companies Act, Charities Act, and HMRC regulations, ensuring we prepare and submit our statutory accounts on time.  You will coordinate the annual audit, review internal controls, and report financial risks to the ESPE leadership.

• Leadership and collaboration: The role includes providing financial guidance to coordinators and teams to support informed decision-making. 

• Required experience and skills: Candidates must be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA/AAT/ICAEW) with at least three years experience in financial or management accounting, preferably in a professional body or learned society. Proficiency in accounting software, and having significant knowledge and understanding of VAT (ideally across Europe), analytical skills, communication, and project management skills are essential. 

• Personal attributes: The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, resilience, collaborative skills, ability to manage multiple priorities, and alignment with ESPE’s mission. You should be proactive, enjoy challenge, be capable of working under pressure, and skilled in influencing and strategic thinking. Must be willing to travel to Europe as required (2-4 times per annum).

About the role

You’ll use your quality improvement expertise to support health & care professionals with projects and programmes, equipping them with the latest tools, resources, evidence and data to develop and improve services for people with Parkinson’s.

You’ll support the development of a vibrant national network, working in collaboration with the Professional Engagement team and the regional clinical leads. Data Analysis, Systems and Reporting

• Develop and maintain robust and accurate data systems and monitoring processes, ensuring compliant archiving to support data integrity.

• Lead the preparation, quality assurance and secure management of Alexandra Rose’s programme data, ensuring it is accurate, consistent and compliant with GDPR and data sharing requirements.

Essential Qualifications and Skills

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior High Value Fundraising Manager to join our Relationship Fundraising team at Help for Heroes. This senior role will shape and lead one of our most strategically important income streams—ensuring we continue delivering life-changing support for veterans and their families.

This senior role is perfect for a confident relationship fundraiser with experience securing major gifts, running high-value campaigns, and delivering impactful special events.

You’ll lead the development and delivery of our high-value giving strategy delivering in excess of £1.2m over the next 12 months, including the £17m No One Left Behind campaign, major donor income, and a new 3-year Special Events strategy. With responsibility for a talented team, you’ll build a strong major donor pipeline, secure 5- and 6-figure gifts, and deliver exceptional supporter experiences.

You’ll collaborate across the organisation to shape compelling proposals, develop high-value communications, support our 20th anniversary plans, and ensure strong financial management and reporting.

Job purpose

The Digital Marketing & Content Manager will lead on creating and delivering high-quality digital communications across Iswe and the Global Citizens’ Assembly. You will work closely with teams and partners across regions, using insight and analytics to enhance reach, visibility and engagement.

Key responsibilities

1. Strategic contribution & prioritisation

• Contribute actively to the development and refinement of Iswe’s digital communications strategy, bringing insight from audiences, analytics and the wider context.

• Exercise judgement about what content, channels and campaigns will have the greatest impact at different moments, particularly during high-profile events.

• Translate broad organisational priorities into clear, focused digital communications plans, even where direction is initially high-level or evolving.

1. Content creation & production

• Draft, edit and publish clear, engaging content for websites, newsletters, social channels, campaigns and events.

• Produce and edit multimedia content including short-form videos, interviews, animations and motion graphics.

• Oversee the rapid turnaround of video packages and social media assets during key event moments

• Work with regional partners and teams to document and share community and assembly participant stories in respectful, accurate and culturally appropriate ways.

• Write accessible copy that brings data insights, participant experiences and research findings to life.
