Purpose of the job:

We are seeking a results-driven and ambitious Individual Giving Manager to lead and grow our individual giving programme from the ground up. This role will deliver inspiring campaigns that boost engagement and drive unrestricted income, helping Thames21 achieve its mission. You’ll join a successful and ambitious fundraising team to support the charity’s growth.

Main duties and responsibilities

Campaigns & Income Growth

• Plan, establish, and deliver Individual Giving at Thames21 to maximise unrestricted income.
• Develop and deliver digital marketing campaigns (social media, e-newsletters) to acquire, retain, and upgrade donors.
• Design and deliver major campaigns such as Christmas/end-of-year giving and Earth Raise in Year 1.
• Produce high-impact, supporter-focused copy for appeals, landing pages, forms, and stewardship content.
• Maintain brand-consistent collateral, templates, and thank-you materials.
• Collaborate across teams to identify IG opportunities and create engaging stories backed by impact data.

• Achieve growth from five- to six-figures over 3 years

• Use test-and-learn approaches to refine campaign performance and donor engagement.

 

 

Supporter Journeys & Stewardship

• Ensure Donorfy is configured to support individual giving, maximise income, and strengthen relationships, in consultation with the CRM Manager.
• Design and implement personalised supporter journeys via digital channels (e.g. Mailchimp), with timely follow-ups and tailored messaging.
• Improve retention and upgrade rates using targeted communications and segmentation.
• Ensure high-quality donor touchpoints align with organisational messaging.
• Provide stewardship for community and sports fundraising
• Collaborate on planning and delivery of donor and supporter stewardship events and initiatives.

Data, Insight & Compliance

• Conduct audience research with Communications and Engagement teams to inform campaigns.
• Use segmented data to deliver robust analysis and guide decisions.
• Track and report on KPIs, income, ROI, and retention.
• Maintain GDPR/PECR compliance and fundraising best practice.
• Liaise with Finance on acknowledgements, reporting, and Gift Aid.
• Stay ahead of sector trends and apply new ideas to improve performance.
• Collaborate with the CRM Manager to ensure data integrity and effective segmentation.

About the role

This is your chance to make your mark as Design and Brand Manager at the Francis Crick Institute one of the world’s most iconic biomedical research centres, home to over 1,500 leading scientists and a large public gallery space with a rolling programme of exhibitions and events.

For 12 months, you’ll be the creative heartbeat of our Digital and Creative team, setting the standard for design excellence across everything from public exhibitions and scientific reports to internal signage and branded campaigns.

This is a dynamic, hands-on role that sits at the creative core of the Crick’s communications. You’ll collaborate closely with our marketing team to shape visual identities for flagship exhibitions and events, lead design projects for branded materials like brochures and reports, and create impactful internal signage and communications.

Central to the role is refreshing and rolling out our brand identity, ensuring it remains bold, relevant, and consistent across all touchpoints. You’ll manage our in-house studio, oversee science illustration and printing services, and build a trusted network of freelancers and agencies to expand our creative capacity. The role is ideal for someone with a strong background in design and brand, with a creative flare and is able to identify and seize upon strategic opportunities. What you will be doing

As a Design and Brand Manager at the Crick, you will:

• Produce on-brand, accessible and high-quality design and creative materials which meet the needs of the Crick’s varied audiences.

• Manage the Crick’s visual brand identity – including rolling out our newly refreshed brand identity – ensuring it stays fresh, relevant and consistent.

• Develop and implement internal processes for teams across the Crick.

• Manage design projects from concept to completion.

• Oversee the work of agencies and freelancers who are producing design and creative assets, from initial briefing to obtaining final sign-off.

• Produce and maintain a contact base of agencies and suppliers who can produce high-quality design work in accordance with our brand guidelines

• Be the Crick’s go-to for best practice in creativity and design, advising teams across the Crick with their creative output.

• Horizon scan for latest updates and innovations in design tools and practice in order to formulate and incorporate best-practice into our processes and templates.

About you

You will have:

• Demonstrable experience at middleweight or senior designer level – in-house, freelance or agency;*

• Strong understanding of design and brand principles – typography, colour, layout etc.

• A portfolio of original, engaging and creative ideas developed within a professional environment for successful brand design projects across various media that demonstrate an eye for detail, creativity and experience of art direction;*

• Demonstrable experience of managing, championing and maintaining a consistent brand identity within a professional environment;*

• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously;

About the role

Reporting in to the Church & Supporter Engagement Lead, the Church Engagement & Fundraising Advisor will lead and inspire a team of Church Engagement & Fundraising Officers, ensuring exceptional stewardship and engagement with churches, Christian Aid groups,
and the wider public to support Christian Aid’s values and goals.

The post-holder will oversee the stewardship of existing churches, re-engage lapsed supporters, and acquire new ones while equipping and motivating supporters to give, act, and pray against global poverty and injustice.

Some of the main responsibilities of the Church Engagement & Fundraising Advisor will include:

• Management of a team of Church Engagement & Fundraising Officers, fostering a collaborative mindset and creating an environment that promotes the exchange of ideas and knowledge.
• Build trusted relationships with churches, groups, and individuals, ensuring strong connections between teams for effective stewardship and seamless information-sharing.
• Actively identify and engage the most supportive churches across England, inspiring them to give, act, and pray with Christian Aid through tailored programmes of activity.
• Development and delivery of impactful plans to engage our existing supporting churches in key appeals and campaigns.
• Cultivate a culture of continuous learning in relation to supporter care, including communications with supporters, with a focus on Christian Aid Week, Christmas, emergency appeals and priority campaigns.
• Recruit and empower volunteers to build capacity and deliver maximum impact, modelling accountability and striving for cost-effective solutions that streamline decision-making and foster consensus.
• Representation at Christian events, conferences and festivals, aimed at raising our profile with church audiences, maintaining support with our existing churches, and growing prospective churches to support Christian Aid and maximise our impact.

About the Team:

We are seeking a proactive and ambitious Philanthropy Officer to join our team at Princess Alice Hospice. This is an exciting time to join us as we embark on a new programme of transformational change, presenting numerous opportunities to create impactful relationships with individual supporters to significantly boost our income.

The successful candidate will report to the Head of Philanthropy and pay a pivotal role in delivering and expanding our Major Gift programme, as part of our busy and highly successful fundraising team which raises over £3 million annually. This is a vital contribution to the £11.5 million needed each year to provide our free, high-quality care to our local communities.

About the role:

This role will work directly to secure income from individual supporters contributing £5,000 or more annually. Working independently and in partnership with the Head of Philanthropy, Trust and Foundation Lead and other senior stakeholders, the Philanthropy Officer will drive donor engagement and development, through focused relationship management, impactful communication and innovative stewardship.

Key responsibilities include collaborating across the Philanthropy team, with fundraising colleagues, and hospice networks to build a robust prospect pipeline and design and implement personalised supporter journeys that track and monitor progress, deepen relationships and secure income.

This role will also be responsible for engagement and communication activities to support the Philanthropy programme, including event management, group communications and appeals.

Candidates who can demonstrate excellent writing, relationship and stakeholder management in other sectors will also be considered.

Your ability to develop and manage relationships, coupled with your excellent writing and budgeting skills, makes you an ideal fit for this role. Job Role:

Team Leaders at the Centre are responsible for the day-to-day delivery by their respective team. This role will contribute to and support the Delivery Manager to achieve the overall objective of the Centre, which is to deliver services that enable our community to thrive.

The Team Leader – Energy and Financial Wellbeing will line manage a number of Advisor and Caseworkers and ensure that they deliver our services effectively and in line with our ambition. Beyond these management responsibilities, they will also engage in front-line delivery within this area. The split between front-line delivery and line management for this role will be agreed with the Delivery Manager, but we expect it to be around 50%-line management and 50% front-line delivery. The role will involve understanding Energy and Financial Wellbeing work in our context and supporting the Advisors to deliver
their objectives.

Team Leaders will promote a positive culture of collaboration, creativity and innovation amongst their direct reports and teams and support the development of innovative, inspiring and viable service propositions.

Job Role:

The Integrated Advice Service provides welfare benefits, housing, debt, financial and energy advice while also providing support referrals to other agencies at a specialist level including welfare benefits, debt, housing, immigration and legal advice.

All our advisors are expected to work across a range of contracts and support the team in its delivery of key performance indicators (KPIs). The Centre’s holistic approach means that we seek to support peoples’ multiple needs. Within all of our services, we aim to gain an understanding of our clients’ needs and support them to access a range of services and activities both at the Centre and through local partners.

The Trainer and Advisor role will provide workshops and one-to-one support to people with energy and money worries to develop the skills and knowledge to take control of their energy arrangements and related finances. This includes managing their energy usage and money in a way that works for them, making resources go further and enabling them to avoid debt and plan for the future.

This role needs to contribute to a positive culture of collaboration, innovation and inclusivity across the organisation.

Our Senior Individual Giving Acquisition Officer will develop, test, learn and grow our fundraising acquisition programme. The role is crucial in implementing our strategy to attract new audiences and donors across a wide range of fundraising products and campaigns from regular giving to virtual challenges.

This exciting role manages and supports all aspects of fundraising acquisition activity from planning and set-up to implementing end of campaign recommendations. The post holder will work closely with the Individual Giving and Legacy Manager and Head of Public Fundraising to plan how Bowel Cancer UK can acquire supporters through new and innovative campaigns and channels – taking a measured, test and learn approach.

As well as working closely with the entire Public Fundraising Team, the role will also collaborate with other key internal stakeholders and is responsible for fostering excellent working relationships with our portfolio of external agency partners.

The role has line management responsibility for our Mass Participation Officer, supporting them to flourish and develop in their role, and ensuring the successful delivery of our high profile and exciting portfolio of virtual challenges.

Required skills, knowledge and qualifications

• A minimum of 1 years experience in the youth work sector.
• A minimum in Level 2 Youth Work or working towards a qualification.
• A highly motivated, passionate and creative youth worker.
• Strong empathy and a person centred approach.
• Excellent written and communication skills.
• A strong understanding of the principles of youth work as a distinctive practice of informal education and voluntary participation.
• An informed understanding of inclusive practice, with an enthusiasm to learn more and share your knowledge.
• Confident use of Microsoft packages.
• A good understanding of safeguarding and confidentiality.
• Able to work as part of a team and to use own initiative.
• Willing to work regular evening youth clubs, stay on overnight on residentials and work the (very) occassional weekend.

Desirable

• Experience of supporting learning disabled and autistic young people.
• Knowledge of Makaton or other communication aids.
• To have a driving licence
• Ability to drive a minibus (including a D1 licence and MIDAS qualification).
• First aid and/or mental health first aid training.
