About the role

This is a new role which will help to deliver a pilot strategy to grow long-term sustainable income by enhancing Breast Cancer Now’s on-the-ground presence locally.

Joining the relationship fundraising team and working closely with the high value partnerships team, this role is responsible for cultivating new long-term relationships and, in turn, driving fundraising income.

Uniquely, the post holder will help to implement a large-scale trial to further grow Tickled Pink, an award-winning partnership between Asda, Breast Cancer Now and CoppaFeel! which has raised over £100m. The goal is to grow both engagement and future income by directly supporting colleagues across Asda stores in their local area.

In addition, this role will establish and grow a portfolio of supporters in the northwest by cultivating relationships with new and warm supporters including individuals, clubs, societies and local companies. It will also line manage two community fundraisers based in Scotland. 

What’s special about this role is that you’ll be working alongside a supportive, innovative and fun team which has delivered continued growth in fundraising over the last five years.

The is the first time the charity has had a community fundraiser locally based in the northwest. It is one of five new roles being introduced as part of the pilot, and the goal is that they all become permanent. 

About you 

You’re a pro at cultivating long term relationships with a variety of new supporters to generate income, and have great community fundraising experience working with individuals, local companies and clubs and societies.

We are looking for a part time Membership Officer to work 2 or 3 days a week, alongside our existing part time Membership Officer. Together, they will lead on administrative support of our membership functions. Reporting to our Office and Events Manager, the post holder will be responsible for the administrative functions that support the smooth running and ongoing success of the organisation around membership.

This is an interesting and varied role that acts as a first 'point of contact’ for the people we work with (such as Member Institutions, Registrants and queries from members of the public), as well as managing the administrative aspect of memberships, such as setting up new Registrants on our CRM system. The role also involves longer term project work such as overseeing the CPD audit and improving and growing membership processes.

JUSTICE is looking for a motivated and organised Communications Officer to help us build a fairer UK justice system. The postholder will translate complex legal issues into compelling, clear writing, and believe in the power of communication to change minds and build broad support for change.

The postholder will communicate JUSTICE’s work to our key audiences using press, digital media, and printed publications, and will report to the Head of Communications. Responsibilities include working with journalists to gain coverage, managing our website and social media accounts, and producing printed materials. You will play a key role in communicating our work and improving engagement with our members and supporters. 

JUSTICE is a law reform charity working to build a fairer UK justice system within everyone’s reach. Over our 68-year history we have transformed the legal landscape for the better, led by evidence, expertise, and a focus on practical solutions. APAP provides direct, face to face support for people in housing crisis. We are the only service of our kind in the local area, offering immediate respite and casework support for people experiencing or at risk of homelessness. 

APAP day centre service is currently open three days per-week offering respite, food and somewhere safe to be for anyone facing street homelessness. It provides advocacy and casework services to those who are vulnerably housed or homeless, supporting them to address their individual crisis and the underlying causes. We also provide a small year round night shelter provision. 

The Community Fundraising and Partnerships Coordinator will be responsible for developing and nurturing relationships within the local community to support APAP’s fundraising efforts, including schools, local businesses, faith and community groups. A key feature of this role will be developing increased year-round community engagement and fundraising, leading into the planning and delivery of at least one annual fundraising campaign. Katherine Low Settlement’s work with older people 

Katherine Low Settlement has worked with older people since its conception in 1924.They are a core part of the community that we continue to work with. We provide, often in partnership, a range of projects and activities for older people including health and wellbeing; creative arts; intergenerational work; connecting people and trips/outings. 

Our services include Battersea Bites, Age Well and Core social activities and digital inclusion.

We work with people 50+ to: 

• Encourage active and independent living 

• Reduce isolation and loneliness 

• Improve well-being and prevent ill-health

Key Objectives for this Role 

Oversee the day-to-day running of our Battersea Bites Programme that includes a lunch club for people 50+ that runs on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays and a healthy eating session on Mondays. This includes leading in the planning, shopping and preparation and provision of meals, the responsibility for the day-to-day running of the kitchen including overseeing a team of volunteers and ensuring compliance with relevant Health & Safety and Food Hygiene requirements. 

Roles & Responsibilities 

Planning 

• Plan and develop a monthly lunch service menu, a month in advance, using creative license to provide nutritious, varied, and satisfying meals that meet diverse dietary requirements (e.g., allergies, cultural needs, vegetarian/vegan options) while strictly adhering to Health & Safety and food hygiene regulations. 

• Develop ideas for Battersea Bites Healthy cook and eat/ other sessions with the Age Well Team.

• Handle purchases and expense tracking using the Soldo card, ensuring full compliance with the bank card usage policy, and submitting all receipts and records promptly and accurately for financial oversight and reporting, for which training can be provided.

• Create several themed menus throughout the year which will engage members. For example, a Summer Lunch, an Afternoon Tea, etc.

• Support the planning of the older people’s lunch club with older people themselves

• Support the Elders team to welcome and support new members to feel part of the programme. 

Delivery 

• Complete a weekly food shop either online (we currently use Asda delivery service) or locally, buying fresh ingredients weekly which fall within the financial budget. 

• Prepare, cook and serve healthy meals, ensuring dietary needs are met 

• Undertake stock control such as stock rotation, ensuring all food items are labelled with expiry dates and disposed of when necessary. 

• Ensure all equipment is ready and set up for the lunch club service. 

• Ensure the security of the kitchen and store cupboards to provide a safe working environment. (Our cupboards are locked.)

• To ensure routine day-to-day as well as specialised cleaning of kitchen equipment, work surfaces, kitchen floors and storage areas. 

• Keep accurate and up-to-date records, including the health and safety folder containing opening and closing checks. Training can be provided.

• Ensure your hygiene and cleanliness are of the highest standard, and those of anyone entering the kitchen, including volunteers, are suitably dressed and uphold the same standards 

• Be part of and work closely with the Elders Team at KLS 

• Support elders who attend the club so that the sessions are safe and enjoyable for them.

• Inform the Manager (or in their absence the Head of Service) of any concerning incidents, compliments, complaints or accidents (including safeguarding issues).

• Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills by quickly and calmly addressing kitchen challenges and ensuring smooth meal preparation under pressure.

• Take part in the monitoring and evaluation of the programme under the guidance of the Managers of the 50+ programme

• Coordinate with staff and volunteers to ensure efficient meal service.

• To attend any relevant training sessions to ensure that you are fully equipped to perform your role effectively

• To actively assist in the continuation of our high food hygiene rating

• Have acquired or are willing to Level 2 and Level 3 Food Hygiene Certificate

Coordination of Battersea Bites Volunteers 

• Form and build positive working relationships with volunteers who work within Battersea Bites. 

• Take responsibility for coordinating individual volunteers and respond effectively to their feedback, and report any concerns to the Core Manager.

Blue Ventures is a marine conservation organisation that puts people first. We support coastal fishers in remote and rural communities to rebuild fisheries and restore ocean life.

Our work began two decades ago in Madagascar’s remote coastal communities and is growing globally.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a central role in a growing global movement that seeks to end destructive bottom trawling practices and champion the rights of small-scale fishers.

The Transform Bottom Trawling Coalition is a global movement uniting small-scale fishers, coastal communities, and environmental groups against the most destructive form of industrial fishing. Together with over 120 members, we are advocating for:

• Protecting coastal water: Creating Inshore Exclusion Zones and Preferential Access  Areas to keep bottom trawling out and give small-scale fishers priority access.

• Safeguarding marine life: Ensuring bottom trawling is prohibited in Marine Protected      Areas (MPAs) to protect marine animals and plants.

• Supporting fair subsidies: Ending subsidised bottom trawling and supporting a fair transition.

• Stopping expansion: Preventing bottom trawling from expanding into new, untrawled areas.

You will be responsible for providing expert advice across the coalition, driving research and knowledge creation, and ensuring the coalition remains at the forefront of scientific, policy, and advocacy developments. Are you a detail-driven finance professional with the skill for keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes? We’re looking for a Finance Manager to join our dynamic team and play a key role in ensuring the integrity and efficiency of our financial operations.

Reporting to the Head of Financial Operations, you’ll be at the heart of our finance department—overseeing everything from general ledger accuracy and treasury management to accounts payable/receivable and VAT returns. You’ll help maintain high standards of professional competence, support internal and external audits, and lead on monthly controls and reconciliations.

The Children’s Trust is the UK’s leading charity for children with acquired brain injury, providing expert rehabilitation, education, therapy, and care at our national specialist centre in Tadworth, and to children and their families across the UK, via our Brain Injury Community Service.

Rehabilitation of Offenders

The Role

We are seeking a dynamic and technically astute Project Manager to join our Projects team. This role will oversee projects that use artificial intelligence and emerging technologies to improve education access, equity, and outcomes across the three pillars of Theirworld’s work: Best Start in Life, A Safe Place to Learn, and Skills for the Future.

The successful candidate will support the development and delivery of innovative pilots, including projects that explore how AI and technology can equip children and youth with the competencies, digital fluency, and adaptive skills needed to thrive in a rapidly changing world. You will manage local partnerships, steer experimentation, and ensure robust learning cycles that contribute to Theirworld’s pilot-to-scale strategy.

This role is ideal for someone who seeks greater depth of knowledge, impact-driven, and excited to shape how emerging technologies can accelerate educational equity in low-resource settings.

This role is for maternity cover but with the possibility of extension.

Main Responsibilities

Project Management

• Manage a diverse portfolio of education projects across Theirworld’s three pillars – Best Start in Life, A Safe Place to Learn, and Skills for the Future, with an emphasis on those leveraging AI and emerging technologies.

• Oversee programme planning, budgeting, delivery, reporting and learning for projects, ensuring milestones are met, partners are supported, and learnings are captured.

• Lead on the implementation of projects that apply digital or AI driven solutions to improve learning outcomes, particularly within the Skills for the Future pillar.

• Ensure all projects are inclusive and aligned with Theirworld’s cross-cutting vital areas: gender, inclusion, climate, health & nutrition, and peace & security.

AI for Future Skills

• Identify and manage projects that apply AI tools to build transferable, digital, and job-relevant skills for youth.

• Explore and test the potential of AI to personalise learning, support educators, and close skills gaps in marginalised communities.

• Ensure ethical, context sensitive, and inclusive use of AI in education projects, especially for girls, children with disabilities, and crisis-affected learners.

Partner Management and Grant Oversight

• Lead relationships with local delivery partners, edtech companies, and civil society organisations to co-deliver impactful projects.

• Draft and manage contracts and reporting templates; support partners with MEL frameworks aligned with pilot-to-scale goals.

• Conduct partner check-ins, manage grants, track spending, and ensure timely reporting and adaptive learning.

Learning and Contribution to Strategy

• Document and disseminate learnings and emerging insights on AI in education.

• Contribute to Theirworld’s knowledge assets and participate in knowledge sharing platforms and global convenings.

• Support scale strategies by contributing to replication toolkits and packages based on pilot results.

Cross-Team Collaboration

• Collaborate closely with colleagues across Theirworld, including development, campaigns, advocacy, communications, and research teams, to ensure alignment, maximise impact, and foster shared learning.

• Actively contribute to cross-organisational initiatives, helping integrate projects into wider strategic objectives.

• Engage with our Development and Fundraising team to identify and support the cultivation of potential funders and supporters for the project pipeline 

• Provide additional support to the Director of Programmes and other team members as required to ensure the smooth delivery of projects and organisational priorities.

Experience, Skills and Character

• 5 - 7 years of experience in education, edtech, or AI-for-development projects.

• Proven project management experience delivering initiatives in partnership with local organisations, NGOs, or tech providers.

• Strong understanding of education systems, future skills development, and how technology (especially AI) can support them.

• Confident managing project budgets, reporting cycles, and monitoring frameworks.

• Deep commitment to equity, inclusion, and ethical innovation in education.

• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

Your role

Supervise the delivery of Eikon’s volunteer mentoring services to children and young people in allocated schools across Surrey. Supervise a team of Volunteer Mentors ensuring parity of our offer in Schools to Children and Young People. Ensuring the highest standards of case work, effective practice and safeguarding are maintained.  Providing regular review and assessment of caseloads, with guidance on how to progress provided to the team of Volunteer Mentors.

Responsibilities

· Plan, resource and oversee the delivery of the volunteer mentoring programme, to ensure that the service is offered to young people at the right time and that young people are at the heart of the programme.

· Develop and maintain key relationships within schools in Surrey to deliver the volunteer mentoring programme.

· To identify trends and gaps in provision, then work with Service Delivery Manager on ways to improve our Volunteer Mentoring service

· Supervise a team of volunteer mentors in line with Eikon's policies

· Induct, train and develop volunteer mentors, ensuring a high-quality service with safe and effective practice is delivered in accordance with all other best practice guidelines

· Work in collaboration with the Designated Safeguarding Manager and Service Delivery Manager to ensure all volunteers are competent to supervise safeguarding issues

· Support volunteer mentors with all safeguarding issues and liaise with the Designated Safeguarding Manager and Service Delivery Manager where appropriate.

· Understand and act when safeguarding issues need to be escalated, always following safeguarding and child protection procedures 

· Support volunteer mentors to ensure accurate recording of all individual engagements, ensuring supervisory review of notes, follow up action where appropriate and feedback provided as necessary

· Support volunteer mentors in ensuring outcomes and impact are agreed, reviewed and recorded for mentees using the Eikon Impact Measurement tool

· Ensure case management is undertaken to a high quality, including ensuring systematic case note review processes are followed, providing evidence of change and celebrating progress with CYP

· Ensure all data and information is uploaded onto all relevant databases

· Provide accurate and timely mentoring programme data reports, for internal management

· Keep up to date with good practice, legislation and policies that have an impact on service delivery at Eikon

· Always apply safeguarding and child protection procedures 

· Work as part of a team and attend team meetings, training events and participate fully in 1:1 sessions and clinical supervision if required

· Work co-operatively and under the management of The Eikon Charity staff

· Work within Eikon’s internal policies, safeguarding and data protection regulations

The Role

Theirworld is seeking a proactive and collaborative Manager to support the development, delivery, and learning of education projects and innovation initiatives.

This role will work closely with the Director of Programmes and the wider Projects team to support the design and coordination of pilot projects that test bold, locally driven ideas across Theirworld’s three core pillars: Best Start in Life, A Safe Place to Learn, and Skills for the Future.

The ideal candidate will bring experience in project management and delivery, innovation support, and strong coordination skills. They will work with diverse stakeholders, including community-based organisations, youth leaders, education NGOs, and policy makers to identify promising solutions, facilitate Theirworld’s accelerator programme, and gather insights to inform our broader strategy. The postholder will also contribute to knowledge sharing, event coordination, and organisational learning, helping ensure that new ideas are captured, tested, and amplified.

Main Responsibilities

Project Management

• Lead the planning and delivery of pilot innovative education projects, both internal and external, ensuring alignment with Theirworld’s strategic pillars and cross-cutting vital areas (gender, inclusion, climate, health & nutrition, peace & security).

• Coordinate project timelines, grant delivery, budgeting, reporting cycles, and partner check ins to ensure successful implementation.

• Support the team and local delivery partners with testing and pivoting through ongoing feedback mechanisms to strengthen impact and learning.

• Ensure project documentation, monitoring frameworks, and learning processes are maintained to inform potential scale.

Innovation Management

• Manage the day-to-day coordination and delivery of Theirworld’s Education Innovation Awards, including recruitment, onboarding, programming, and follow up with winning teams.

• Support the development and implementation of innovation focused interventions, tools, and methodologies across programme areas.

• Support in the coordination of internal innovation and contribute to the identification and advancement of high-potential concepts.

• Contribute to mentoring, capacity strengthening, and scale-readiness support for partners and youth-led initiatives.

Community Engagement and Collaboration

• Build and maintain strong working relationships with grassroots innovators, youth-led organisations, and education-focused non-profits.

• Ensure inclusive engagement practices, enabling meaningful participation of local communities, educators, and youth in programme design and delivery.

• Work collaboratively with other Theirworld teams (Campaigns, Communications, Advocacy, Research) to ensure cohesion and integration across programmes.

Learning and Knowledge Sharing

• Document insights, lessons learned, and emerging practices from pilots and projects

• Support the creation of learning reports, and briefs that contribute to Theirworld’s growing body of knowledge.

• Coordinate and support convenings, events, or workshops that engage internal and external stakeholders.

Cross-Team Contribution

• Actively participate in team-wide meetings, strategic planning, and internal initiatives to support programme delivery and organisational learning.

• Engage with our Development and Fundraising team to identify and support the cultivation of potential funders and supporters for the project pipeline 

• Provide flexible support to the Director of Programmes and project colleagues on cross-cutting tasks, event coordination, or strategic priorities as needed.

Experience, Skills and Character

• 3–5 years’ experience in project and innovation management, education, or international development.

• Experience supporting or delivering accelerator, innovation, or grant programmes (especially within the non-profit sector).

• Strong interest in education access, inclusion, and the role of innovation in system change.

• Excellent organisational, time management, and multitasking abilities.

• Good communication skills with strong written and verbal English skills.

• Collaborative team player, with experience working with diverse communities and youth networks.

• Curiosity and commitment to continuous learning, iteration, and experimentation.

• Familiarity with digital learning, edtech, or grassroots innovation is a plus.
