The role
This is an exciting opportunity to play a central role in ensuring learning and evidence informs decisions and contributes to the foundation’s strategy. Sitting at the heart of the organisation, this person will support the foundation’s learning and evaluation work, overseeing learning and feedback processes, commissioning research, and sharing what the foundation’s learning with different audiences.

This person will lead on conducting both qualitative and quantitative analysis, translating complex information into clear, practical insights that influence real decision-making. The ability to draw out key themes, identify patterns and make thoughtful recommendations will directly support how the foundation delivers its strategy.

The person
The successful candidate will be naturally curious, analytical and will share in the overall vision of the foundation. They will enjoy exploring data, asking questions and presenting insights that can make a genuine difference. They will bring substantial experience of research and analysis in addition to having the ability to work confidently across both qualitative and quantitative methods. This experience will ideally have been gained in the grant making, philanthropic, charity or not-for-profit sectors.

This person will be a strong communicator both verbally and in writing and will be able to translate complex findings into clear, compelling narratives that others can easily digest and act on. Comfortable working with a wide range of stakeholders both internally and externally, this person will be a great listener and facilitator, able to curate open and reflective conversations.

Highly organised and self-motivated, this person will be able to manage competing priorities and see projects through to completion methodically in addition to being confident using data tools and systems to produce high-quality, accurate work to tight deadlines. IT savvy across all MS packages will be essential in addition to experience of Salesforce and data visualisation/analysis software being very useful indeed.

To provide a Customer Call Centre as the "first point of contact" within Look Ahead for customers, staff, contractors and external agencies for rent, housing benefit, service charge, repairs, complaints and customer support queries.

What you'll do:

• As a member of the Customer Call Centre be the first point of contact for customers and staff
• throughout the organisation on all enquiries
• Deal with enquiries on Housing Management, Maintenance and Customer Support
• Receive and action maintenance requests for owned, managed or leased properties
• Receive, log and transfer complaints received in accordance with Look Ahead's policy and procedure
• Data entry into IT systems and databases for reporting and performance indicators
• Support of administration functions within the team

Essential:

• Educated as a minimum to GCSE English and Maths or equivalent

• At least two years experience in working in a call centre, property and/or customer services environment

Mile End Young Peoples service provides support and housing in Tower Hamlets that are either leaving care or affected by youth homelessness. You will be expected to deliver positive outcomes for all our young people and support them to reach independence, keep safe and maintain their tenancy's. Aside from support workers delivering support there is a strong element of housing management associated wit this role, for example managing rents, raising/monitoring repairs and health and safety.

Operations Coordinator (maternity leave cover)​

We are recruiting a fixed term Operations Coordinator (maternity leave cover) to join our team. This role will be responsible for coordinating our Finance and HR administration as well as providing Executive Assistant support to the Director.

Suitable candidates will:

• be passionate about supporting young people to make safer choices about drugs and alcohol,
• have experience of Finance and/or HR coordination, with excellent organisation skills
• have excellent time-management, attention to detail and be a skilled and effective communicator, both in writing and orally, with a range of people and agencies
