Purpose of the Fundraising Department

The International Fundraising Department within Greenpeace International (GPI) ensures a clear focus on global income opportunities and challenges in partnership with National and Regional Offices (NROs). The department manages global fundraising sources, contributes to and coordinates global fundraising work, provides strategic focus for GPI fundraising specialists, and provides senior strategic guidance and leadership across the Greenpeace Network. 

Purpose of role

The International Philanthropy Manager is accountable for designing and implementing the Global Fundraising Strategy as it relates to major giving, including strategic partnerships, institutional funders, individual major donors, legacies, and capital campaigns. This role leads the teams behind major global initiatives, including a €100 million capital campaign for a new ship and the Priority Global Funders strategy—while providing strategic leadership, support, and advice to both Greenpeace International and independent National and Regional Organisations (NROs).

Primary responsibilities

Global fundraising strategy

● Lead and manage the design and implementation of the Global Fundraising Strategy as it relates to major giving, including strategic partnerships with institutional funders and individual major donors, legacy, and capital campaigns.

● Accountable for the design and implementation of the Key Relationships area of the Global Fundraising Strategy, including tracking and monitoring the success of its implementation.

● Lead, advise, and support the work done by GPI fundraising staff and NRO leaders in the key relationships area.

● Collaborate across GPI functions and departments to ensure alignment and integration of the Key Relationships Strategy with other organisational objectives, strategies, and plans.

People management

● Lead, manage and develop a multidisciplinary team of fundraising managers and coordinators across various areas of high value fundraising.

● Provide task management and direction to staff from other areas of International Fundraising and across GPI departments who contribute to fundraising deliverables. 

● Drive team performance through objective setting, performance reviews, coaching and development to ensure fundraising objectives are met.

National and Regional Organisation (NROs) support

● Oversee strategic and operational support provided to NROs to build the fundraising capacity and expertise required to deliver ambitious fundraising strategies and goals based on the respective market potential.

● Provide strategic advice and support to NROs for the development of the philanthropy and legacy elements of their 3-Year Strategic Plans and their annual organisational development plans.

● Support NROs in recruiting and onboarding experienced fundraising directors and strategic fundraising roles.

Communities and stakeholders

● Strengthen the fundraising director’s community of practice alongside fellow Strategic Fundraising Managers and the International Fundraising Director to foster a collaborative space for addressing global fundraising challenges and opportunities.

● Facilitate regular exchanges with other key leadership communities (such as Engagement and Programme Leaders) in areas of joint interest. 

● Build strong working relationships with colleagues and internal and external stakeholders to represent Greenpeace’s interests and enable effective cooperation and knowledge-sharing across fundraising areas.

● Foster collaboration with cross-functional departments (such as Development, Technology, Finance and Programme) to co-design and implement highly engaging campaigns with strong fundraising potential and deliver robust proposals for key funders.

Financial, policy, and systems management

● Ensure the effective budgeting, management, and expenditure of internal resources.

● Oversee the budgeting and reconciliation of income from Priority Global Funders, individual major donors, and legacy gifts to GPI. 

● Serve as the product owner for the key relationships CRM.

● Hold responsibility for the development and implementation of global policies related to key relationships fundraising. 

Profile

Skills and qualifications

● Significant (7 years +) experience in a senior fundraising management role with a focus on philanthropy, of which at least four years leading international teams.

● Experience leading a capital campaign.

● Strong leadership abilities with experience building and developing exceptional teams to achieve fundraising goals.

We are looking for an experienced and resourceful Service Development Manager to work closely with the CEO to establish and deliver a strong presence across Forest of Dean, Cheltenham and Tewkesbury.

The Role

This is a hands-on role combining direct family support, project management, service development and partnership building. You will hold an appropriate caseload, develop new activity, build strong local referral pathways and help turn the countywide plans into practical support for families.

The initial focus will be Forest of Dean, Cheltenham and Tewkesbury, but the role is designed to evolve as our countywide work develops.

The Natural Capital Assessment Partnership (NCAP) has operated for over 30 years. Formerly the Habitat Biodiversity Audit, a key remit of NCAP has been to survey and gather habitat data across Warwickshire, Coventry and Solihull, combining ecological field surveys with pioneering satellite imagery and remote sensing analysis. Animal Equality releases investigative materials captured from inside factory farms and slaughterhouses, exposing the conditions that farmed animals face around the world. We publish our findings on television, in newspapers and online. We focus on farmed animals because of the scale and severity of the issue. More than a billion animals are confined and killed for human consumption every year in the UK. Farmed animals also often suffer in some of the worst ways: pigs typically endure painful mutilations, many chickens die of heart attacks, fish are confined in underwater cages, and some farmed animals are victims of deliberate abuse and neglect. But the problem is solvable! By utilising effective campaigning strategies, Animal Equality is having an impact for animals around the world and building a future where all animals are respected and protected, and are no longer exploited for human consumption.

About The Role

The Communications & Digital Marketing Coordinator will play a key role in shaping Animal Equality UK’s public voice. They will ensure all outgoing content, both digital and print, aligns with our brand, values, and mission.

This role will lead on paid digital marketing and lead-generation activities to grow our supporter and donor base; oversee video production; manage website content; optimise organic and paid reach; support SEO strategy; and ensure consistent day-to-day engagement across our social media channels.

The successful candidate will work collaboratively across all UK departments, particularly Marketing and Campaigns, as well as with international colleagues, to maximise our impact for farmed animals.

Position Location: Remote, in the UK. Candidates should be prepared to travel to London once a month for in-person team meet-ups. Please note that travel for these routine office visits is self-funded. Occasional travel to Animal Equality events may be required, with all associated expenses fully covered.

About the role

Young Lives vs Cancer has a growing and ambitious commitment to improving the systems that shape the experiences of children and young people with cancer and their families. Our North Star vision and Time Is Now Strategy set out ambitious goals for the difference we want to make, both for the children and young people and loved ones we support and the wider systems around them.

This role sits within the Strategic Insight team, which supports Young Lives vs Cancer to use relevant, timely and accurate information to inform decision-making across the organisation.

As a Data Analyst (Impact Focus), you will work as part of the Strategic Insight team while dedicating a significant proportion of your time to supporting the Innovation, Policy & Systems Change Directorate, particularly the Research, Learning & Systems Change team. You will play a key role in helping Young Lives vs Cancer generate stronger evidence of the needs, experiences and outcomes of children and young people with cancer and their families, and ensure that evidence is used to improve services, shape strategy and influence decision-making. 

We're looking for someone with strong analytical, SQL and data visualisation skills who is curious about data and passionate about turning it into meaningful insight. You will support survey and evaluation activity, develop dashboards and reporting tools, improve access to data and insight, and provide data and insight that supports evidence-informed decisions across the organisation. 

Working closely with the Impact, Evaluation & Learning Lead, Strategic Insight colleagues and teams across the charity, you will help strengthen the quality, accessibility and use of data and insight. Through your work, you'll contribute to a better understanding of the difference Young Lives vs Cancer makes for children, young people and families, while helping to build the evidence base needed to improve outcomes and influence the wider systems that support them.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys combining data analysis, problem-solving and communication to create actionable insight and drive meaningful change.

What will I be doing?

No two days are the same at Young Lives vs Cancer. So, summarising your ‘day to day’ isn’t easy. Here are some of the main things you’ll be doing, but you’ll find more details in the job description.

• Act as the primary analytical resource for the Innovation, Policy & Systems Change Directorate, working closely with them to prioritise and deliver analytical and insight requirements while working as part of the Strategic Insights team to support on BAU and cross organisational tasks where needed. 
• Analyse and bring together data from multiple sources to understand service reach, outcomes, impact, trends and equity of access for children and young people with cancer and their families. 
• Turn quantitative, qualitative, and operational data into clear, actionable insight that support decision-making, evaluation, impact measurement, and organisational learning. 
• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports and visualisations that improve the flow and accessibility of data and insight within the Innovation, Policy & Systems Change Directorate and across the organisation. 
• Create and manage organisational insight resources, while improving how data, evidence and learning are connected, structured, and shared across the charity. 
• Improve the quality, consistency, and reliability of data by supporting data governance processes, identifying issues, identifying evidence gaps, and promoting standardised ways of working. 
• Work collaboratively with colleagues across the organisation to strengthen data literacy, improve access to evidence, and support funding bids, impact reporting and other organisational priorities.

• Hands-on experience in digital marketing strategy and content marketing across web, email, and social platforms.
