In this key role you will own and lead an innovative membership strategy to achieve ambitious population and income targets by accelerating member acquisition, delivering compelling member experiences, driving immediate engagement, creating long-term loyalty and running membership operations.

You will advocate for the importance of membership at Kew working with colleagues across the organisation. You will lead the membership response to our new brand framework and CRM programme to increase engagement and accelerate support of Kew as a charity whilst embedding our proposition of ‘creating a thriving planet, powered by plants and fungi.’

You will bring extensive experience of leading a significant membership or loyalty scheme. Experienced in turning audience understanding and data in actionable plans to achieve growth, you will be analytical, innovative, creative and commercially driven.

The RSPB is seeking a Business Analyst to support the Finance Systems Replacement project, a Board priority and a major digital change project. The Finance Systems Replacement project seeks to replace several systems that are over 20 years old.

In this role, you will lead the development and execution of a dynamic corporate fundraising strategy. Working closely with trustees, fundraising boards, and committees, you will focus on securing impactful, long-term partnerships with a diverse range of organisations while fostering and growing existing partnerships. Reporting to the Head of Partnerships you will also oversee and manage corporate partnerships income and expenditure budgets.

The selected candidate will have significant charity fundraising or comparable commercial and sales experience with a good track record in winning new corporate business. We are a mission-driven, innovative social mobility charity that believes a young person’s start in life shouldn’t limit their future. We work with state schools and colleges to develop and build their alumni and employee volunteer communities, helping young people ‘see who they can be’ and helping to open up genuine routes to previously gatekept sectors. Our partners have a key role to play in this. We celebrate our 15th anniversary this year, and over that time have supported over 465,000 young people and built 1,250 alumni networks.

Our core team comes from a variety of backgrounds including partnership development, fundraising, delivery, teaching, programmes and communications. We gain additional support from a strong network of experienced and passionate long-term freelancers. We value all contributions and offer the possibility to expand and grow the role based on interests.

We are looking for a part-time (22.5 hours per week) social media officer to ensure our community is engaged and interacted with through our multiple social media channels. The role is focused on the creation of engaging content for our social media channels, including Facebook, TikTok, and Instagram, as well as monitoring these channels and engaging with our followers. You will be involved in the major Veganuary campaign, inspiring and supporting people to try a vegan diet – better for animals, better for the planet, and better for our health. 

This is a fixed term contract until 28 February 2026. 

We need someone available to cover the following hours:

• Monday (9.00 to 5.30)
• Friday (9.00 to 5.30)
• Sunday (half a day worked at any time)
• A further half day to be worked on any day that suits.

Overview

At Operation Smile UK, we work with global colleagues to improve the lives of those living with cleft conditions around the world – by providing surgery and comprehensive care services to patients and strengthening health care systems in the countries where we work. Operation Smile UK’s Partnerships Team works to maximise high-potential income channels such as corporate partnerships, major donors and trusts and foundations. The Partnerships and Philanthropy Officer will play a key role in the team securing critical income from global and national corporate partners and from our network of committed community fundraisers.

We are looking for a candidate who thrives on building relationships – with partners and with colleagues in the UK and around the world. You will be a brilliant communicator, someone who can juggle multiple priorities and inspire people to believe in our story. Ideally, you will have at least a year’s experience in a relationship management role (in a commercial or fundraising setting), and a particular interest in international development. In return, you will be part of an ambitious and high-performing team, working with national and global corporate partners, gaining international programme exposure and being given the opportunity to take responsibility from the outset. 

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Corporate Fundraising

· Take the lead on managing a portfolio of small and medium corporate partners - taking responsibility for all aspects of these partnerships, including communication, staff activities, events, reporting, income collection and acknowledgements

· Provide support to the Senior P&P Manager in activities relating to OSUK’s global corporate partners through managing employee-led activities across the portfolio.

· To manage and develop new initiatives for employee engagement and community participants

· Support on new business acquisition, specifically in creating new avenues for income generation through existing partnerships.

· Responsible for managing inbound enquiries relating to corporate partnerships

· Lead on producing corporate-related social media and communications content

· Maintain orderly upkeep of all relevant records and databases

Community Fundraising

· Lead on the handling of all inbound community fundraising correspondence, including donations received, merchandise and speaking requests

· Develop a strong understanding of fundraising platforms such as Just Giving and Enthuse, maintaining their upkeep and reconciliation with Operation Smile's financial and reporting systems

Additional Responsibilities

· Expand your understanding of Operation Smile’s programmatic work globally, of cleft lip and palate conditions, health system strengthening and the global surgery sector

· Support other areas of the Partnership Team’s work, including events.
