We are looking for an experienced National Operations Manager, to manage the StreetDoctors operational delivery, quality standards and to support the organisation's strategic development to become a high performing organisation.

We are an award-winning national charity which trains over 17,000 young people affected by street violence each year in emergency first-aid through a team of 250 healthcare volunteers and youth workers. We empower young people with the skills to become part of the solution to violence by developing the skills and confidence to save lives and increasing their understanding of the medical and psychological consequences of violence.

As the StreetDoctors lead for operational delivery, the role will manage and develop the organisation's delivery capacity and implement new innovative national projects. The role will ensure the organisation's performance is managed, achieves the targets and is fit for the future. The key areas of focus include:

• Delivery & Quality Standards: To ensure the quantity and quality of training sessions and projects are nationally consistent, meet the required targets and new opportunities are maximised.

• Relationship Management: To create, develop and maintain partnerships with a range of organisations including, funders, commissioners, community organisations, criminal justice organisations, education providers and youth organisations. 

• Volunteer & Staff Management: To support the development and management of an engaged high performing staff & volunteer delivery team and ensure the volunteering journey is effective and provides the best volunteering experience possible.

Responsibilities of our Project Manager (Centenary):

- Responsible for all aspects of the project management process, developing and managing the project plan, monitoring and reporting on progress and adjusting plans as necessary

- Act as champion for the project management framework

- Coordinate meetings, resources, and stakeholders to keep projects on track

- Support the creation of business cases, plans, and specifications

What we’re looking for in our Project Manager (Centenary):

- Project Management qualification and at least three years experience in a similar role

For a global healthcare organisation undergoing digital transformation, we're recruiting an interim Project Manager for at least 3-months. Reporting to the Director of Data and Digital Transformation, this role will lead on several digital transformation projects at various stages of project life cycle. This role will partner with teams across the business and other Project Managers, the Product team, BI team, and IT teams, as well as the Governance and operations divisions to drive the organisation forward on its journey to improve and enable change.

What you'll be doing:

• Leading a range of in-flight projects (various stages of project life cycle) across digital, data and technology clusters including business change, IT systems/products, and improvements to current platforms
• Management of all project elements including budget management, requirements gathering, implementation planning, impact assessments, risk mitigation and benefits management
• Project reporting, including presenting to project boards and senior stakeholders

You will work closely with the CEO, Research Manager, and members of our lived experience research advisory group. Key Responsibilities

Research Design & Ethics

• Support the design of research studies in collaboration with the lived experience team and academic partners.

Person Specification

Essential

• Experience managing or delivering a research project from start to finish (e.g., Master’s dissertation, PhD, or equivalent applied research).

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including report writing.

We have an exciting opportunity for an integral role which sits within the Information Governance team, in the Practice and Compliance division!

The Information Governance team are the champions of Data Protection and Information Governance within Alzheimer's Society. The team’s key objective is to enable all areas to use information appropriately whilst achieving the Society’s overall aim of creating a world without dementia. The Senior Information Governance Officer will support the wider Information Governance team in achieving this objective.  They will be the first point of contact in the Society for data protection, information governance and records management questions, providing advice and guidance as appropriate to ensure the safe and legal processing of information. These queries will be from across the Society and could be in relation to service delivery, fundraising, campaigns, IT, volunteering or employment matters.

About you
We are looking for an experienced and motivated individual looking for a fresh challenge and wishing to make a real difference to the lives of people affected by dementia. We are looking for

- Great knowledge and experience of managing information in line with Data Protection legislation and regulations 
- Ability to Experience within a data protection or information governance role of advising colleagues across an organisation on how to comply with privacy requirements across a range of situations. 
- Good understanding of records management concepts, technologies and standards, and experience of advising on and applying these in a business context
- Proven experience working in a fast paced and responsive environment, possessing good time management and problem-solving skills.

What you’ll focus on:

- Information Governance team activities including completing Data Protection Impact Assessments, undertaking supplier Due Diligence, managing rights requests and responding to queries
- Managing incidents, advising on remedial actions, supporting the business to identify root cause, notifying the regulator as required
- Analysing and producing reports on data protection risks, incidents, rights requests for various groups and committees within the Society
- Co-ordinating Society’s Information Asset Register reviews and advising Asset Owners and Managers on their responsibilities
- Advising the Society on records management topics, updating and maintaining retention schedules and records management procedures
- Co-ordinating Society responses to annual NHS Data Security & Protection Toolkit, including check and challenge on proposed responses from business areas

About The Role
We are recruiting for a Head of Audience Strategy to join on a permanent contract. This is a home-based role working full-time, 35 hours per week, with occasional travel required for team and stakeholder meetings and events.

The last few years have seen unprecedented growth in the public profile of dementia, driven in part by the growing size, impact and ambition of Alzheimer’s Society – the UK’s leading dementia charity. We now need to ensure that everyone who needs dementia support today can access it, while improving our ability to attract, engage and retain the donors, volunteers and campaigners who so generously give money, time and voice to deliver enduring change. Crucial to this is strategic audience development: driving growth by being clearer about who we need to engage, why, and how.

As Head of Audience Strategy, you will develop a comprehensive strategy that delivers a step-change in the maturity and effectiveness of audience insight at Alzheimer’s Society. Built on a range of high-quality insight, data analysis and modelling, the strategy will reflect the evolving relationship to dementia and our Society among the public and other key external stakeholders.

You will work to identify the priority groups we need to engage to drive sustainable growth across all areas of engagement. You and your team will support teams to develop acquisition and engagement strategies which feel truly audience-led, orchestrating warm supporter communications and journeys which ensure we’re growing the right audiences to meet our objectives.

A priority will be ensuring that teams have the right tools to understand, segment and target their priority audiences. You will also be responsible for supporting teams to generate high-quality evaluations of activity in relation to audience goals – using these to capture new insights that improve our overall understanding and demonstrate the value of your team. At all times, you’ll act as an articulate champion of the power of audience strategy. You will lead senior conversations across the Society about what we know and wish to achieve with our audiences and constantly seek opportunities for your team to support others to enhance their impact and deepen their engagement.

We have provisionally scheduled the first stage of interviews for this role to take place on Wednesday 19th and Thursday 20th November.

About you
Joining us, you’ll have experience in developing and implementing audience or engagement strategies, and extensive experience of diverse qualitative and quantitative research methods and data analysis. You will also be able to demonstrate proven ability to synthesise these insights and apply them to all levels of the marketing funnel, across cold and warm audiences.

Crucially, you’ll be able to build positive relationships, influence key stakeholders and use your communication and leadership skills to manage and motivate cross-functional teams. You’ll be able to take a holistic view across the areas you manage and use this insight to contribute to organisational strategy through an audience development lens.

You don’t need to have a background in the charity sector, and you may or may not have a connection to dementia, you might be an accomplished Audience Insight professional looking for progression or be an established senior leader in this area already. The Job

As Financial Accountant, you'll lead a small team and report to the Head of Financial Accounting. You'll be responsible for producing accurate financial statements, managing audit deliverables, ensuring compliance with charity and company law, and driving improvements in financial processes and reporting. This is a hands-on technical role with leadership responsibilities, requiring collaboration across finance, systems, and planning teams to deliver a seamless finance function.

Head of Programmes is a key role with significant scope to grow as the charity evolves. This is an amazing opportunity for someone interested and experienced in how policy making, press and campaigns work. 

The role is at a start-up non-profit looking to create a global movement to support senior professionals in powerful industries to - collectively and anonymously - help drive positive change in their industries.

Your job will be to help serve as a conduit between groups of industry insiders and the regulators, policymakers, shareholders or consumer groups they want to activate. 

The job is perfect for someone deeply interested in and knowledgeable about the workings of government who has direct experience of briefing, engaging and working with Members of Parliament, civil servants, regulators, shareholders and/or press. 

You will also be working alongside and in partnership with NGOs and consumer groups.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

We’re looking for a Public Affairs and Campaigns Manager  with a bold campaigning instinct, sound strategic judgement, and a strong track record of working directly with shareholders and/or government/policy makers/regulators. 

Our essential criteria is that you:

• Have at least 18 months experience working in Parliament, in public affairs or in shareholder management;

• Bring care and kindness in the work you do.

Additional key skills and experience:

• Campaign leadership: proven experience designing and delivering campaigns that influence public, policy or corporate behaviour;

• Power mapping and strategy: strong instincts for pressure, timing, and influence in complex systems;

• Stakeholder engagement: skilled at working across insider and outsider groups — from boardroom to protest line;

• Communication: exceptional writing and messaging skills; confident with the press and public platforms;

• Confidentiality and care: understands the risks insiders face and knows how to build trust and safeguard participation.
