Key Responsibilities

Finance

• Responsible for processing all income in SAGE from various platforms reconciling income to bank statements.
• Responsible for processing monthly/annual journal and accruals
• Responsible for sales invoicing.
• Perform monthly CRM-Accounting software reconciliation.

The Ethical Property Foundation (“EPF”) is unique: the UK’s only dedicated property advice charity for the voluntary sector. (Registered Charity number 1101812 in England & Wales) Incorporated in 2003, we have supported thousands of voluntary organisations to manage their premises successfully whether rented or owned. Since 2015, we have been the lead referral partner to the Charity Commission for land & property advice and preferred supplier to the Lloyds Bank Foundation. 

Our mission is to equip voluntary organisations with the knowledge and confidence to make the most of the property they occupy and manage, for the benefit of their services and beneficiaries, without crises or compliance failures.

We are a small, dynamic, and enterprising not-for-profit. Our services comprise  free, independent property guidance and support; affordable consultancy; plus online property education. Our combined expertise and unique perspective mean we are much in demand from policymakers, and sector thought leaders. Funding comes from philanthropic donations, grants, corporate partnerships and earned income from affordable consultancy.  In 2023, we launched the voluntary sector’s first interactive online Weston Property Manual for which we were finalists in two major voluntary sector awards. In 2024 we celebrated the 21st Anniversary of our incorporation.

We employ four part-time employees: the CEO, Head of Property Services, Operations Manager, and Administrator - 2.45FTE, supported by a further nine self-employed Associates and Volunteers of whom eight are chartered surveyors. In addition, we run an expert Register of fifteen property professionals, primarily commercial property solicitors, who provide advice on a pro-bono and discounted fee basis. 

 JOB DESCRIPTION

The Head of Property Advisory is the lead member of the Property Advice Team comprising Associate Property Advisors. The team is supported by The Foundation’s Register of Property Professionals. The Property Advice Team provides advice, consultancy and educational services. This service is delivered by providing on-line information, free helpdesk guidance, training events and consultancy projects to assist organisations in making informed property decisions. The Head of Property Services will have the following key areas of activity and responsibility:

1. Developing the Affordable Consultancy  

The Head of Property Services leads on all aspects of building our affordable consultancy and delivers sales income in line with agreed targets. This will include:  

· Identifying potential clients and proactively seeking opportunities to bid for work.

· Responding to enquiries from potential clients, conducting initial meetings to ascertain support required and putting together carefully priced proposals tailored to client needs.

· Developing and maintaining relationships with key partners, including Lloyds Bank Foundation.

· Tracking of enquiries and work in progress with support from the Operations Manager; ensuring accurate records are maintained and providing information and reports to the CEO and Trustees for invoicing and fundraising purposes.

·  Developing new products for the charity sector, making the EPF relevant and providing new and growing income streams.

· Ensuring EPF communication channels appropriately promote our services.

2. Management of Property Advice Team 

The Head of Property Services directly line-manages the Associates in delivery of the Affordable Consultancy:  

·  Developing and maintaining appropriate processes and templates for development and delivery of work.  Disseminating as necessary and ensuring processes followed by team members.

·  Oversight of all support, advice and training provided by the team to ensure consistent high levels of content quality and customer care are maintained.

· Oversight of the free Property Advice Service, co-ordinating with the Property Advisors running the service and responding to enquires who may require affordable consultancy services.

· Ensuring consultancy projects are allocated to team members with appropriate knowledge, experiences and availability. 

· Developing excellent working relationships with members of our Register of Property Professionals to introduce charities for effective support. 

· Delivering excellent customer care by coordinating the Foundation’s support to charities until their project is resolved.

· Supporting the team to ensure property materials for training and online guidance are accurate and appropriate.

3. Additional duties may include:  

· Representing the Foundation and presenting at external events.

· Working proactively to ensure that the Property Advice Team remains up to date with property and charity sector knowledge.

· Develop a broad knowledge of complementary organisations and services that can provide support to enquirers to the Property Advice Service, or opportunities for partnership working or collaboration with the Foundation.

· The Foundation requires all employees to work with due regard for the Foundation’s ethos and policies including health and safety, equality and the environment.  All our team must have DBS clearance.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Support Coach to join our new Independent Approved Premises (IAP) on day shifts with a rolling rota. You will support residents recently released from prison in a residential setting, helping them reintegrate into the community. You will work with residents to create tailored support plans, identify their needs, goals, and skills, and motivate them to reach their potential. You will encourage engagement in activities and the community, provide tools for life skills, and ensure effective risk management with a strong focus on public protection.

• Engaging with residents, ensuring they are adhering to their license conditions. This may include planning activities to engage them with other people, communities, and opportunities

About the role:

We’re building a Transport Solutions Team that works flexibly across all the tools in our delivery kit – from grants and innovation pilots to research, partnerships, and commercial interventions. Our growing portfolio includes flagship projects tackling challenges such as inclusive EV charging infrastructure, complex community transport needs, and large-scale research like the National Centre for Accessible Transport.

We are now recruiting for three Transport Solutions Managers, one permanent position and two 24 month fixed-term contracts. These roles will lead the design and delivery of high-impact work focused primarily on accessible electric vehicle (EV) charging – a key priority for the Foundation. This is a pivotal role that combines technical understanding, programme delivery, and stakeholder leadership, and is designed to work flexibly across our matrix structure.

While your core focus will be on EV charging, you also may be expected to lead and/or contribute to other transport projects across the transport themes.

This is an opportunity to join a collaborative, purpose-led team driving change in the transport system for disabled people, and to work on some of the most complex and impactful projects in the sector.

What you will be doing:

• Lead the design and delivery of accessible EV charging initiatives, working closely with Programme Directors and partners across government, industry and the charity sector.
• Scope, commission and manage projects related to EV charging – such as pilots, commercial partnerships, research studies or funding opportunities – ensuring alignment to strategic priorities.
• Bring technical and market understanding of EV charging (e.g. standards, installation, interoperability, user experience, accessibility requirements) to shape the Foundation’s approach in this space.
• Manage end-to-end delivery of specific initiatives, including planning, budgeting, due diligence, contracting, risk management, and governance reporting.
• Use insight, evidence and stakeholder engagement to shape new programmes of work and ensure delivery reflects the needs of disabled people.
• Work flexibly across our matrix team, contributing to projects or funding rounds outside your own portfolio as needed, and supporting colleagues with specialist input or delivery resource.

Your experience:

Must haves:

• Experience managing complex projects, ideally in EV charging, transport, or energy sectors.
• Ability to translate technical or policy insight (e.g. standards, user experience, accessibility, or engineering considerations) into practical delivery and funding approaches.
• Experience managing projects or funding opportunities from inception through to delivery, ideally across multiple partners or suppliers.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, with the ability to work effectively across government, industry, and the charity sector.
• Excellent organisational and project management skills, with the ability to deliver multiple, complex workstreams to deadlines.
• Strong analytical capability, able to interpret data, research and qualitative insight to inform recommendations and decision-making.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to produce high-quality reports, business cases, and presentations for senior audiences.
• Confident IT literacy, including Microsoft Office (particularly Excel and PowerPoint).

 JOB FUNCTION: To lead, teach and deliver on behalf of Chelsea FC Foundation the innovative Digital Blue Project. This will include the delivery of a range of initiatives and programmes as we develop this area of STEM provision for our local beneficiaries, Foundation wide.

You’ll be working alongside our board and Senior Management team to develop and implement a communications strategy across all media channels that supports the accurate representation of TransActual’s work to the wider world and our mission to advocate, empower and inform.

We are looking for someone with strong interpersonal skills both in terms of understanding and responding to underlying questions in a sometimes hostile media environment, identifying the effective ways of proactively and reactively communicating about our advocacy goals, and working closely with our Policy Lead, Director of Operations and for Healthcare, staff team, board and volunteers to achieve that.

AFRIL is recruiting for an experienced, dynamic Senior Caseworker to join our growing Casework Team. The successful candidate will provide advice and casework to asylum seekers, refugees and migrants in South East London on matters relating to housing and homelessness, welfare benefits, NRPF support, community care and asylum support. As the Director of Programme Performance, you will be pivotal in leading a team responsible for the design, implementation, and management of monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEL) systems. We’re looking for a Senior Face to Face (F2F) Fundraising Manager to join our Face to Face Fundraising team. This is a fantastic opportunity within the RNLI to play a vital role in developing and growing the RNLI in-house F2F Fundraising team to reach the ambitious targets we have ahead. This role manages a team of F2F Managers who each lead a team of F2F fundraisers signing up regular supporters within a defined geographical area and raise vital long-term funding for the charity, as well as delivering lifesaving water safety messaging. The role is part of the F2F Senior Management Team, supporting the team’s development through leading projects that drive forwards team performance.

Your role

As a Senior F2F Fundraising Manager, you will be tasked with focus on the following areas:

• Recruit, train and manage a geographically diverse group of direct reports. Develop and motivate direct reports to deliver key messages, campaigns and products within the F2F strategy.
• As a senior manager in the F2F fundraising team (200+ staff), continue to develop and maintain a positive high-performing culture to ensure the team are performing at their best and developing. Drive continuous improvement across all KPIs.
• Construct and monitor financial and performance reports to ensure budget & KPIs are met, reforecasting where necessary.
• Develop a positive safety culture by identifying and managing risks to health and safety and safeguarding.
• Oversee compliance & complaints to ensure RNLI F2F fundraising adheres to best practice.
• Lead the delivery of selected team projects from initiation to completion, working with colleagues both within the F2F team and the wider organisation to provide the plans, processes and tools needed for the team to achieve their objectives. Develop solid relationships and partnerships with internal and external stakeholders across the UK and Ireland.
