You will be responsible for processing and reconciling donations, running reports and data selections for campaigns, supporting email and direct marketing activity, and providing guidance to colleagues on best practice use of the database. The successful candidate will have:

• Strong experience working with CRM systems (ideally Raiser’s Edge),
• Advanced Excel skills, and a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong working knowledge of using MS Excel formulae and functions, such as Lookups, Conditional Formatting, Pivot Tables, removal of duplicates and calculus
  • Experience running and building queries to obtain targeted data selections, including exporting of relevant data for direct mail appeals and reports
  • Experience of working with large data sets, including undertaking data manipulation, importing of data, cleaning and interrogating data
  • Experience of importing clean data into Raiser’s Edge is highly desirable.
  • Proficient in data entry processes with strong understanding of best practice including GDPR, data confidentiality etc
  • You will be an excellent communicator, able to build effective working relationships, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Support Coordinator

This is an exciting opportunity to work with stroke survivors and their families to support them following a stroke.

The Role

The Royal Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene (RSTMH) is a charity and membership society for those working or interested in tropical medicine and global health. We currently have around 2,000 members and Fellows from more than 100 countries, with a network of more than 10,000 involved with our work in some way.

RSTMH currently publishes two peer-reviewed scientific journals, Transactions of the Royal Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene (TRSTMH) and International Health. TRSTMH was launched in 1908, is published monthly, and is a hybrid journal. International Health was launched in 2009, is published bi-monthly, and is Open Access. In September 2025, we announced the development of a new journal looking at the use of Artificial Intelligence in Global Health, which will be launching around May 2026. All three journals are published by Oxford University Press (OUP) and are supported by a global team of dedicated Editorial Boad members.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual with relevant publishing experience to support the operation of our three academic journals. The role will involve providing administrative and editorial support to the Managing Editor, liaising with our authors, reviewers, external editors, and publishing partner, contributing to and - where appropriate - leading on journal development initiatives, and collaborating with internal teams within the RSTMH.

The role

• Check new submissions to ensure that they are in scope and formatted as per journal guidelines, before assigning to handling editors.
• Check revised submissions are formatted as per journal guidelines, before assigning to handling editors
• Check and export accepted manuscripts to production team at OUP, working with the Editors in Chief (EiC) to ensure all required information is included.
• Monitor manuscripts in process, working with editors, reviewers, authors and Managing Editor to identify and reduce unnecessary delays for authors.
• Be the first point of contact for authors, editors, and reviewers by monitoring the journals inbox, helping to resolve any disputes that arise within the peer review process or escalating to Managing Editor, as necessary within agreed timings.

This role supports the delivery of stories and campaigns that achieve media coverage nationally and in regional media that fall outside of our hospice catchment areas.

You will lead on PR support for some key areas of the charity, including retail and volunteering.

The Senior Economic Empowerment Partnerships Manager is responsible for raising awareness of the growing threat of economic abuse. An experienced project manager with experience of managing services for victims of domestic violence and/or other forms of gender-based violence, the post holder will work with the Heads of Service to implement Refuge’s tech strategy to ensure that Refuge continues to learn about and respond to changing economic developments with a particular focus on technology and victims of domestic abuse.

The post-holder will work across all services and will work closely with the Fundraising Team and Head of Services to develop an economic fundraising strategy to ensure that the role generates income through partnerships and consultancy with the financial sector by raising awareness of economic abuse and technology-facilitated abuse. The post holder will work closely with the Policy Team to feed into legislative asks relating to economic abuse, to better improve responses for survivors both in legislation and in the financial sector. We are looking for candidates with extensive practical experience of supporting a diverse range of victims of domestic violence and/or other forms of gender-based violence. In-depth understanding of economic abuse, and how it is used against women and girls and how this form of abuse is a barrier for women leaving a relationship. Current, up to date knowledge and understanding of the legislation that impacts survivors of economic abuse and in-depth understanding of the needs of survivors and their children impacted by economic abuse.

The Senior Economic Empowerment Partnerships Manager will cultivate a learning culture around economic abuse and help improves outcomes for survivors, improving responses from the financial sector, and raising awareness of economic abuse.
