Not Beyond Redemption is looking for a dedicated and organised Solicitor to provide guidance and supervision to Pro Bono Solicitors and volunteers from our partner firms who assist with casework in private children law matters. The charity is seeking a Solicitor (minimum of 1 year PQE, preferably in family law) to work on a remote basis. The candidate must, however, be willing to travel to attend the in-person legal clinics in the Northeast. There will also be regular team meetings in North Wales (Wrexham) and occasional team meetings London.

Not Beyond Redemption is a charity founded by Camilla Baldwin that provides free family legal advice and representation to women in prison. The charity's focus is to re-establish critical access and relationships between mothers and their children. The scope of the work is varied and ranges from helping women with a myriad of legal matters, including understanding their rights, negotiating with carers and representing them in courts across the country. The charity currently holds legal clinics in all 12 women’s prisons across England. 

The Role

Location: Primarily remote working. Preferably based in the North West/North Wales/Cheshire area. Occasional travel to:- 

• HMP Low Newton  in Durham (every 2/3 months) to lead the legal clinics -with additional travel to other women's prisons as required 
• North Wales/Chester border for regular meetings with the supervising solicitor
• London head office for team meetings (every 1/2 months) 

Purpose of the position:To supervise a caseload of private law family cases as part of the Northern team and to assist with the Northern legal prison clinics.

Description: We are seeking a compassionate and resilient Family Lawyer to join our core team. After initial supervision you will lead prison legal clinics in the North and run a caseload of private law children matters,  staffed by a network of pro bono volunteers from partner law firms. You will work closely with the Supervising Lawyer in the North to ensure we continue to provide high quality legal advice/representation to women in the Northern prisons and maintain our pro bono partnerships in the region. You will also run a small case load without volunteer solicitors. 

Key Accountabilities: 

• Lead legal prison clinics remotely and in-person.
• Provide sensitive, non-judgemental legal advice to women facing complex barriers. 
• Supervise/manage a caseload of private Children Act 1989 proceedings, from initial instructions through to court representation. This involves overseeing and approving the work undertake by the pro bono lawyers. 
• Support the pro bono lawyers to ensure that they provide high-level legal assistance to our clients. 
• Run a small caseload independently 
• Represent Not Beyond Redemption at charity events or regional networking sessions, as required.

Person Specification: 

• Qualified solicitor (minimum of 1 Year PQE – preferably in family law) 
• Highly organised. 
• Exceptional drafting skills and the ability to explain complex legal rights to clients in a clear, accessible manner 
• Must have good attention to detail. 
• Ability to work effectively from a remote home-based environment while maintaining high professional standards and strong links to the wider NBR team.

Interim Operations & Facilities Manager

We’re working with a purpose-driven London-based organisation seeking an experienced Operations & Facilities professional to provide short-term cover during a period of transition.

This is a hands-on interim role focused on keeping a busy site running safely, smoothly, and efficiently. You’ll play a key role in maintaining day-to-day operations, with particular responsibility for facilities, health & safety, and contractor coordination.

About the role

We are excited to be recruiting for an International Advocacy Advisor to join WWF-UK at a critical moment for people and planet.

This role sits within our International Advocacy team and will help deliver WWF-UK’s strategy for effective international influencing in a changing world. About the Role

We are seeking an experienced freelance Finance Committee Clerk to support the administration and governance of our Finance Committee. This is a light-touch but important role, providing professional clerking support to ensure our committee meetings are well-structured, properly documented, and compliant with good governance practice.

The Finance Committee meets four times per year and comprises five members: the Treasurer (Chair), the CEO, and three trustees. The clerk plays a vital behind-the-scenes role in keeping meetings running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate meeting dates, send invitations, and manage attendance ahead of each quarterly meeting
• Prepare and circulate agendas in collaboration with the Chair and CEO (at least two weeks before each meeting)

Legacy Marketing Manager.

We’re looking for an experienced Legacy Marketing Manager with proven expertise across all aspects of legacy marketing to lead and grow our legacy programme, ensuring long‑term sustainable income for the organisation. You’ll be responsible for developing and delivering strategic legacy marketing plans that drive both acquisition and stewardship, combining strong internal relationship‑building with insight‑led marketing to maximise impact.

How you'll help to create brighter futures  

• Developing Action for Children’s short term and long-term planning of marketing legacy strategies to maximise the potential of legacy income.

• Directly manage a team of professional fundraisers.

• Effectively manage the legacy acquisition and retention campaigns. 

• Drive robust and insight-led supporter-centred journeys to maximise engagement.

• Lead the Legacy Marketing team to successfully achieve set targets and KPIs.

• Produce regular and consistent financial and activity reports for Management and other Senior Managers.

• Build effective and efficient relationships with prospective supporters, legacy pledgers, staff, and solicitors.

Let's talk about you  

• Must have Legacy Marketing experience (including digital) and demonstratable application to drive revenues in a complex organisation collaborating with many stakeholders. 

• Charity legislation, best practice guidelines and other regulatory requirements to charitable fundraising activity, or the intellectual capacity to acquire it.

• Demonstrable understanding of the importance of brand to legacy success – and how to apply through a marketing role.

• Intellectual capacity to understand and appreciate the motivations of donors, supporters, and volunteers.

• Apply principles of good customer care and the accountabilities of a charity to its donors, supporters, and volunteers.

• Proven experience and success of managing & developing fundraisers and or marketing experts to drive income performance.

The role

This is an exciting opportunity to join GamCare at a pivotal moment, as the organisation launches a new programme focused on preventing and reducing gambling-related harm experienced by individuals affected by another person’s gambling, known as “Affected Others”.

This new role, funded by the Office for Health Improvement and Disparities (OHID), is an opportunity to develop guidance and resources for Affected Others and professionals, alongside designing and delivering peer support services and training. The programme will prioritise support for key groups across England, including men, young adults (18–25), neurodiverse individuals, LGBTQIA+ communities, and people from ethnic minority backgrounds.

As a Development Coordinator, you will be responsible for producing high-quality guidance, resources, and service developments, ensuring that safety is embedded across all outputs and that lived experience voices inform all aspects of the work. Using an iterative test and learn approach, you will gather insights, contribute to continuous improvement, and adapt resources and services to better meet the needs of target groups.

Key responsibilities 

·Programme Support – Support the Programme Manager in the development of the programme, contributing to delivery against KPIs, timelines, and budget requirements. 

·Resource & Service Development – Develop high-quality online and printed guidance and support for Affected Others and the professionals who support them. Work collaboratively with service teams to support the development of educational peer support and other support services. 

·Matrix Working – Work collaboratively across programmes, including the Women’s Pathway Programme, to ensure resources and services are aligned, avoid duplication, and benefit from shared learning. Build strong internal relationships to support consistent messaging, practice sharing, and continuous improvement. 

·Lived Experience Engagement – Support the active involvement of people with lived experience as Affected Others, ensuring their input informs the co-creation of resources and support services. 

·Stakeholder Engagement – Build and maintain relationships with professionals working with target groups to inform the development of resources and services, and promote programme outputs to relevant audiences. 

·Equality, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI) – Embed EDI principles across all outputs, ensuring resources and services are accessible, inclusive, and responsive to the needs of target groups. 

·Learning & Insight – Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement by applying a test and learn approach, gathering insights to refine and improve resources and services. 

·Impact & Evaluation – Support the collection of data and insights to assess the effectiveness and impact of resources and services. 

·Monitoring & Reporting – Contribute to programme monitoring and reporting by preparing written, statistical, and verbal updates on progress and outcomes.

About you 

The successful candidate will bring experience in developing guidance, resources or services that support positive behaviour change. In addition to this, you will have experience of building relationships and delivering initiatives with volunteers who have lived experience, as well as colleagues and external stakeholders.

Strong organisational skills are essential, along with the ability to manage competing priorities and experience of developing interventions using iterative “test and learn” approaches to build high-quality guidance and support.

Working closely with HR Business Partners and senior stakeholders, this role provides high‑quality, practical advice across the full employee lifecycle, supporting managers to navigate people matters confidently, compliantly and consistently.

Key Responsibilities for this role include:

Employee Relations & Advisory Support

• Providing professional advice and support across a broad range of employee relations matters, including absence management, performance, conduct, grievance, capability and dignity at work cases.
• Supporting managers with disciplinary, grievance and change‑related processes in line with policy, procedure and employment legislation.
• Advising on occupational health referrals, interpreting reports and supporting managers to implement recommendations.

Policy, Contracts & Casework

• Supporting the interpretation and application of HR policies, procedures and terms and conditions of employment.
• Managing the fixed‑term contracts process, including tracking end dates, coordinating extensions or terminations, issuing documentation and ensuring compliance.

• Contributing to organisational change activity, including restructures, changes to terms and conditions, redundancy and redeployment processes.

Collaboration & Best Practice

• Working collaboratively with colleagues across the wider People & Culture function to share expertise, coordinate activity and ensure consistency.
• Developing strong internal and external networks to ensure the application of best practice and awareness of sector developments.

To be considered for this position, you should bring:

• CIPD Level 5 or above qualification.
• Previous HR experience within Higher Education institutions.
• Demonstrable experience managing employee relations casework within a complex, unionised environment.
• Sound working knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
• Strong interpersonal, analytical and communication skills, with the resilience to manage competing priorities.
• High standards of data protection, information governance and confidentiality.
• Digital confidence, with experience using HR systems and collaborative digital tools.

Knowledge of job evaluation frameworks, HR systems and UKVI requirements would be advantageous.

The Organiser (Mobilisation) role is about working with our organisers and campaign teams to identify campaign opportunities and design impactful tactics and then supporting the network to deliver them.

• Designing and delivering the guides, resources, trainings and support structures that enable volunteers to deliver campaign tactics locally, at scale and across the UK.

• Building centralised Volunteer Teams to help deliver support at scale, and build monitoring, reporting and feedback mechanisms so we always know what’s happening, how it’s going and adjusting as we need to.
