The Hunger Project UK Fundraising and Campaigns Coordinator
Are you looking for a role that really makes a difference helping to empower women and men to end their own hunger and poverty?
About The Hunger Project UK
The Hunger Project UK is a small, mission-driven charity and UK fundraising partner of The Hunger Project — a global movement founded in 1977 with more than 40 years of evidence that ending hunger is possible. Working across 13 programme countries in rural Africa, South Asia and Latin America, The Hunger Project pioneers sustainable, grassroots, women-centred strategies, believing that people living in hunger are themselves the key to ending it.
We are a lean, consultant-based team with an ambitious three-year strategy. We work collaboratively, we work with purpose, and we care about the quality of everything that carries our name.
The role
We are looking for an experienced Fundraising and Campaigns Coordinator — with at least five years in a fundraising role within the charity sector — to join our small team in the second half of 2026. This is a hands-on delivery role: you will be the person who owns campaigns end to end, builds the newsletters, schedules the posts, writes the copy and gets things live.
You will work within a clear strategic direction set by the senior team, but you will own everything from there — developing the angle and narrative, writing the copy, submitting the application, building the promotional plan across all channels, and closing it out with donor reporting and thanks. We want someone who takes a steer and runs with it, and who brings genuine creative and fundraising intelligence to how the work gets done.
This is a part-time, flexible consultancy engagement. We work to a variable monthly arrangement — hours flex with the needs of the organisation, averaging 30–40 hours per month, with busier periods during campaigns.

We provide tailored support to tens of thousands of stroke survivors each year. This support includes one-to-one and group support, funding vital scientific research into stroke prevention, acute treatment, recovery and long-term care, and campaigning to secure the best care for everyone affected by stroke.
We’re here for stroke survivors and their loved ones, from the moment they enter the new and frightening post-stroke world, supporting them every step of the way as they find their strength and their way back to life.

Stroke Association is driven by our ambition to improve the lives of everyone affected by stroke. This means we’re determined to create an equitable and inclusive workplace that benefits from the difference, and thrives on the diversity, of our people. Guided by Our approach to solving inequity in stroke, we are prioritising listening to, and learning from, lived experience across our charity.
We are working to improve the representation of this lived experience at all levels within the Stroke Association and we are eager to recruit applicants from a variety of communities and backgrounds. Help us make sure no one living with nystagmus ever feels alone. We're looking for a Chief Executive who can turn a trusted, growing charity into a fundraising and communications powerhouse.
The Nystagmus Network is a small charity with an excellent reputation. For forty years, we've been the voice people turn to when they need it most. Whether that's a parent whose child has just been diagnosed, an adult navigating a new condition, or a clinician looking for a research partner with expertise in patient involvement. We've built that trust one relationship at a time, and now we're ready to grow it into something bigger.
We need a Chief Executive who sees fundraising at the heart of the charity, and as storytelling with a purpose. If you thrive on walking into a room with a funder and leaving with a partnership, you're the person for us. Securing significant income through trust and statutory bids sits at the heart of this role, and so does the expertise in demonstrating impact. Sharp, compelling reporting that shows funders and supporters exactly what their money makes possible.
We're looking for someone who can shape a communications and brand presence that matches the strength of our reputation, someone with experience in setting direction for external-facing content, comfortable working with fractional expertise to keep our voice consistent and professional, and just as comfortable being the face of that voice themselves. You'll be equally at home talking research priorities with an ophthalmologist as you are meeting a family with an unexpected diagnosis.
This is a hands-on role in a lean, ambitious organisation. You'll hold real responsibility for strategy, governance and our external profile, working closely with a supportive Board of Trustees, but you'll also be close enough to the work to take ownership of the insight and data that prove it's working. We want to hear from you if the idea of taking real ownership of all aspects of running a charity appeals to you, if you are a self starter with the skills to manage a wide range of projects and ideas.
You do not need to have been a Chief Executive before. What you do need is real sector experience, credibility with funders and trustees, and the drive to turn ambition into a deliverable plan. We particularly welcome applications from people with personal experience of nystagmus or other eye conditions.
If you can bring both the strategic weight and the storytelling instinct this next chapter needs, we would love to hear from you.
Part-time · 3 days per week · 12-month fixed-term contract · £44,000-48,000 per annum, depending on experience (pro rata) · Remote, with periodic in-person meetings
Please keep cover letters to one page maximum and be sure to answer the following questions:
1. What is it about your previous experience that makes you a good fit for this role?
2. Please describe what you consider to be the biggest opportunities for the Nystagmus network
3. What made you apply for this role?
Our mission is to champion the cause of the nystagmus community we support.
The client requests no contact from agencies or media sales.
Link to Change is an award-winning charity dedicated to protecting children and young people from exploitation, abuse and harm. We work alongside children, families, professionals and communities to create safer futures and stronger outcomes.
Now entering an exciting new phase of growth across Bedfordshire and surrounding areas, we are seeking an exceptional Chief Executive Officer to lead the organisation into its next chapter.
Link to Change has a strong reputation as a trusted specialist in tackling child sexual exploitation, criminal exploitation, online harms and abuse affecting children and young people. Our work has influenced policy and practice, supported thousands of children and families, and amplified the voices of young people with lived experience.
We are ambitious about the future. We want to reach more children, strengthen our influence, grow our services, and continue driving meaningful change within safeguarding systems and communities.
As Chief Executive Officer, you will provide strategic and operational leadership to the charity, ensuring we remain financially sustainable, well governed and focused on achieving the greatest possible impact for children and young people. Working closely with our Board of Trustees, staff team and partners, you will lead organisational development, strengthen relationships across sectors, champion safeguarding excellence and help shape the future direction of the organisation.
This is a unique opportunity to lead a respected, award-winning charity with a passionate team, a strong reputation and a clear sense of purpose.
We are looking for a values-driven leader who can inspire others, build strong partnerships, navigate complexity and lead with confidence and compassion. You will share our commitment to safeguarding, trauma-informed practice and ensuring that the voices of children and young people remain at the heart of everything we do.
If you are passionate about improving outcomes for vulnerable children and young people and want to lead an organisation that is making a genuine difference every day, we would love to hear from you.
Join Link to Change and help create a future where every child and young person is safe, heard and free from exploitation.
Please ensure to follow the guidance within the application pack on how to apply.
To make an application, please submit:
