About the role

You’ll use your quality improvement expertise to support health & care professionals with projects and programmes, equipping them with the latest tools, resources, evidence and data to develop and improve services for people with Parkinson’s.

You’ll support the development of a vibrant national network, working in collaboration with the Professional Engagement team and the regional clinical leads. You’ll also work with health and care professionals and Parkinson’s UK colleagues to respond to any threats to Parkinson's services and effect positive change.

Please note - this is a fixed term role for maternity cover, currently expected to conclude in October 2027.

What you'll do

• Facilitate health and care service redesign and improvement projects in collaboration with clinicians, Parkinson’s UK staff and people living with Parkinson’s whilst drawing on the principles of co-production

• Build relationships to influence service improvement across the South East of England, and support the development of a vibrant national network

• Maximise participation in the UK Parkinson's Audit and relevant surveys

• Support health & care services to develop and implement service improvement plans, using the results of the UK Parkinson's Audit as a lever

• Promote the Excellence network funding opportunities, providing support where appropriate with the development of business cases and grant applications

What you'll bring

Our Specialist Social Workers work closely with the Head of Expert Witness Service to ensure the delivery of high-quality independent social work reports (ISWRs). They supervise volunteer social workers, quality assure reports, carry out social work assessments themselves, and contribute towards volunteer training opportunities and service development to maintain excellence in social work practice.

At MOVE Against Cancer our mission is to support and empower everyone impacted by cancer to be more active because movement matters. Key Responsibilities

Social Media & Digital Engagement

Lead the development and day-to-day management of MOVE Against Cancer’s social media channels. Create engaging content that encourages and supports people affected by cancer to move more and stay active. Develop and share regular content to show what MOVE are working on including: movement tips educational content participant stories programme highlights expert insights Build and nurture an online community around movement and cancer. Increasing our engagement. Monitor engagement and use insights to improve reach and impact.

Digital Resources and Educational Content

Content Planning and Coordination

Manage a digital content calendar across social media and the website. Coordinate contributions from staff, partners and participants. Ensure consistency in tone, accessibility and messaging.

Data, Learning and Impact

Help us gather data and understand data. Use analytics to understand how people engage with digital content. Support the development of feedback and impact surveys for beneficiaries. Contribute to improvements in digital systems or databases where relevant. Lead the adoption of AI‑driven tools, ensuring our team, Trustees and volunteers understand how to use emerging technologies responsibly and effectively. Use data for planning purposes, to extend our reach to more people impacted by cancer.

Person Specification

Essential skills and experience

Experience creating and managing digital content across platforms, particularly social media and websites. Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to produce clear, engaging and accessible content such as articles, guides, and online resources. The Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Management Accountant to play a pivotal role in the finance team of a Charity-led group during an exciting phase of growth. Reporting into the Finance & Operations Director, you will take ownership of delivering accurate, timely and insightful management reporting that supports operational performance and strategic decision-making.

• Managing month-end processes, including journals, accruals and prepayments.

Beder was established in memory of Beder Mirjan, who sadly took his own life in 2017 at the age of 18. We are now ready to build a dedicated and sustainable fundraising function so we are looking for someone who can take ownership of that journey.

This isn't a role for someone who simply wants to manage an existing fundraising programme as we are looking for someone who enjoys building one. Whilst working closely with our founder, trustees and wider team, you will develop and execute Beder's fundraising strategy, building sustainable income across corporate partnerships, major donors, trusts and foundations, individual giving, campaigns and events.

You will inherit a compelling cause, an established brand, strong relationships and a growing pipeline of opportunities – but you will also have the freedom to shape how Beder approaches fundraising for the future.

We are looking for someone who is equally comfortable developing a fundraising strategy, writing a compelling funding proposal, meeting a potential corporate partner and picking up the phone to a prospective supporter.

Above all, we want someone who believes in what Beder is trying to achieve and wants to roll their sleeves up and help us build something special.

Our immediate objective is to develop a diversified fundraising programme capable of sustaining our Beder Therapy Voucher service enabling Beder to meet the growing demand for free therapy while continuing to expand our wider mental health and suicide prevention work.

The successful candidate will have significant autonomy to develop the strategy, partnerships and fundraising infrastructure required to achieve that.

We are open to candidates from a range of fundraising backgrounds and would particularly welcome experience across corporate partnerships, philanthropy/major donors, trusts and foundations and strategic fundraising.

Experience within mental health is welcome but is not essential.

As Qualifications Marketing Manager, you'll be responsible for developing and delivering strategic marketing plans that increase awareness, generate engagement and grow the student pipeline. You'll use audience insight, research and performance data to shape campaigns, improve customer journeys and deliver measurable results.

This role offers a unique blend of strategic marketing, stakeholder engagement and content development. You'll work closely with employers, training providers and internal teams to ensure marketing activity reaches the right audiences, communicates clear value and supports long-term growth objectives.

What you'll be doing

• Leading the marketing strategy and delivery for professional qualifications, certifications and programmes
  • Driving student recruitment and awareness through targeted B2B and B2C campaigns
  • Leading the marketing activity for a major qualification launch and ongoing promotional campaigns
  • Using audience insight, market research and performance data to inform strategic decision-making
  • Mapping and improving customer journeys to increase engagement and conversion
  • Creating compelling content across websites, email marketing, social media and digital advertising
  • Developing marketing plans, creative briefs and campaign assets that align with brand guidelines
  • Building strong relationships with employers, training providers and key stakeholders
  • Managing agency relationships and external suppliers
  • Monitoring performance, analysing results and reporting on ROI and campaign effectiveness
  

The appointed candidate will have:

• Proven experience delivering integrated marketing and campaign strategies
  • Experience of both B2B and B2C marketing
  • Strong analytical skills and experience using data and insight to drive decisions
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Experience developing engaging content across digital channels
  • Confidence working with CRM systems, website platforms and marketing analytics tools
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills
  • A proactive and self-directed approach with excellent attention to detail
  • Experience within a membership body, professional education or qualifications environment would be highly desirable
