About the role
Fundraising plays an important role in the sustainability of The Brilliant Club, and this is only set to grow in our next strategy. The new Fundraising Officer will be responsible for building relationships and creating excellent experiences for a portfolio of supporters and prospective supporters, to help us raise over £1.4 million each year.

Supporters will be mainly Trusts & Foundations, but also some corporates and individuals. The role will include meeting with prospects, writing compelling applications for funding, stewarding and renewing existing partnerships and writing engaging funding reports.

The successful candidate will have experience working as part of a fundraising team, or have transferable skills from a similar external-facing role. They will have a proven ability to confidently build relationships with external stakeholders and have excellent written communication skills. Attention to detail, strong organisational skills and experience using a CRM system are also key for this role.

While this role can be based at either our Leeds or London office, we expect some travel will be required (mainly to London) for events and to attend in-person meetings with colleagues and funders. The role will report into the Head of Fundraising.

The Finance & Operations Officer plays a central role in ensuring the smooth financial and operational running of Tender, supporting the organisation’s ability to deliver its mission effectively. The role spans core finance functions—including payroll, payments, reconciliations, budgeting support and financial reporting—ensuring that Tender maintains robust financial controls and compliance across all statutory and regulatory requirements. A successful Finance & Operations Officer will also contribute to organisational development by ensuring that policies, procedures and workflows are up to date, compliant and reflect best practice. With responsibilities that touch every part of the charity, the post holder acts as a vital hub for coordination, problem‑solving and continuous improvement, helping Tender maintain a high‑functioning, values‑driven working environment.

To be successful in this role, in the first 6 months you will have:

• Established reliable financial processes by ensuring accurate and timely payroll, payment cycles, reconciliations and financial reporting, maintaining full compliance with Tender’s financial controls and statutory requirements.
• Strengthened core operational systems by updating and consolidating HR, ICT, office management and policy frameworks, ensuring staff understand and follow consistent organisational processes.

Opportunity to pioneer work with children of all ages within the local community at an exciting Community Hub. The Rising Generation Pastor will oversee a team of children's and youth workers, supporting them in offering a wide range of groups and events. 

Overall responsibilities include:

- Overseeing all areas of ministry to the rising generation (0 - 18 year olds) within the church and the local community, including holding the overall vision.

- Line managing the youth team including the Assistant Youth Pastor, PAIS Apprentice team leader and Trainee Kids and Families Pastor.

- Engaging with local schools and building on existing relationships.

- Overseeing the rising generation budget and engaging with the fundraising team to seek funding opportunities.

General Duties:

- To find and initiate innovative ways of engaging with children, young people and their families both within the local community and those already engaged with church.

- To work with the Rector, the PCC and rising generation team in growing the St Peter's vision and strategy for reaching the rising generation in our local community and helping them grow as followers of Jesus.

- To oversee the running of a range of different activities and projects for children and young people in the St Peter's Community and Youth Hub.

- Work alongside mission partners such as PAIS and Scripture Union.

- To visit local schools regularly and lead acts of worship within them.

- To lead lunchtime and/or after school activities in schools, including expanding use of our Youth Alpha material.

- To assist in providing chaplaincy as requested within the local schools and to seek opportunities to grow mission.

Brief role description:

The HR Manager will provide end-to-end, operational and strategic human resources support for the charity's international workforce (excluding APAC). Acting as a trusted advisor to leadership and line managers, the role will ensure that people practices are compliant, values-driven, and aligned with our strategy. Main responsibilities:

Role Requirements

Your role will be to provide a high standard of housekeeping ensuring excellent levels of cleanliness are consistent throughout the site and that infection control procedures are met across site.

As part of the site services team the role holder will be expected to liaise with managers and staff across the Trust. The role holder is expected to work closely with the other members of the facilities team and assist in covering in the laundry, in the deep clean team or other works as and when required.

AWF was established from a legacy left to the British Veterinary Association (BVA) in 1983 and was set up as an independent charity to directly support the veterinary profession, promote best practice and drive improvements in animal welfare

We are seeking an experienced charity manager to coordinate and manage the activity of the BVA Animal Welfare Foundation (AWF), which places animal welfare at the forefront of veterinary knowledge via research, education and debate.

You will have a strong track record of working with a Board of Trustees and associated committees on the successful implementation of a charity strategy, alongside an ability to lead on the implementation of a focused fundraising strategy.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and strong organisational skills, including the ability to prioritise, and work to strict deadlines. Alongside experience of a variety of fundraising activities, event planning, and knowledge of charity governance, this new role represents an exciting opportunity to optimise the unique partnership with BVA and build strategic relationships with key stakeholders to raise the profile of AWF.

Currently there are no direct line management responsibilities but as the charity develops it is likely that line management responsibilities will become part of this role. The Fawcett Society is the UK’s leading membership charity campaigning for women’s rights.

We are recruiting a Head of Campaigns & Influence to lead our public campaigning and movement-building work. This is a senior role for someone who can turn build campaigns that cut through, mobilising supporters and communities, raising awareness of the most pressing issues facing women today, and helping shape the political conditions for progress on women’s rights.

This role drives how Fawcett builds our influence & impact. It brings together campaigning, public affairs, supporter mobilisation and leadership, with a strong focus on turning evidence and policy priorities into clear, credible and compelling public asks.

About the role

The Head of Campaigns & Influence will lead the development and delivery of Fawcett’s campaigning strategy, ensuring our work is politically sharp, driven by women's experiences, and capable of building momentum over time.

You will work across campaigns, public affairs, digital and membership, helping ensure that our external work is joined up, strategic and effective. You will also play a key role in connecting our national influencing work with the energy, insight and experience of our members, supporters and communities.

This is a senior leadership role, reporting to the Chief Executive and contributing to wider organisational planning and decision-making. You will line manage campaigning capacity, help shape a collaborative and inclusive culture, and support Fawcett to grow its public impact over the coming years.

You would be joining a small but ambitious team, with the opportunity to shape both the work itself and how we work together. At the moment, the team is small, which means this role will suit someone who is comfortable leading in a hands-on way while supporting others to grow. We expect to strengthen our campaigning capacity over time, so there is real scope to help shape the next phase of that development.

What you will do

• Lead and deliver an integrated campaigns strategy aligned to Fawcett’s priorities and mission.
• Turn research and policy positions into clear, compelling and politically credible campaign narratives and asks.
• Build momentum by mobilising members, supporters and people with lived experience in meaningful and effective ways.
• Lead Fawcett’s cross-party public affairs approach and represent the organisation in external meetings, coalitions and forums.
• Work closely across campaigns, communications, digital, membership and income generation to strengthen impact and visibility.
• Define success measures for campaigns and improve how we understand and evidence our impact.
• Line manage and support staff through inclusive, accountable and values-led leadership.
• Contribute to senior leadership planning, organisational development and wider strategic decision-making.

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for someone who brings:

• Experience of leading and delivering campaigns, advocacy or movement-building work designed to achieve social, political or cultural change.
• Experience of mobilising supporters, communities and/or people with lived experience in ways that strengthen campaigns, projects or organisational work.
• Experience of influencing political, institutional or other decision-makers, including translating evidence, policy positions or strategic objectives into clear and credible public asks.
• Previous line management experience, with evidence of supporting and developing others well through inclusive, accountable and values-led leadership.
• A strong commitment to women’s rights and tackling misogyny, with a clear understanding of intersectional feminist and anti-racist practice.
• Strong strategic judgement and the ability to work effectively in politically sensitive or fast-moving contexts.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across different teams and audiences.

The role

As Training Programme Lead, you will be responsible for:

• Growth: Owning the programme's growth strategy, including building an institutional offer for think tanks, foundations, funders, and NGOs.

• Marketing: Running the promotion of our public courses across social channels and professional networks to hit recruitment targets.

• Operations: Managing the student journey, from onboarding and payments to platform management (LMS).

• Development: Working with our course leaders to spot new opportunities and expand what we offer.

• Community: Keeping our alumni community engaged and supported alongside the wider team.

This is a 2 day per week commitment (with opportunity to increase the time as the programme grows).

Who you are

You’ll be someone who knows the world of foundations and non-profits well, you’ve probably worked in a few. Ideally, you’ve got a sense of the kinds of skills that these organisations need to develop (and that a communications consultancy could train on). You’ll also be comfortable in a marketing and sales context, able to argue why an organisation should invest in our training platform, and what benefit it will provide to them.

You will be:

• Intellectually curious: You care about how ideas impact the world

• Commercially minded: You have experience in business development or selling professional services

• A self-starter: You can take a brief and run with it with very little hand-holding

• Facilitation experience: You've run workshops or trainings before and can hold a room.

• Marketing expertise: You understand how to promote a programme, how to build an audience across professional networks, and when to bring in additional expertise (e.g. SEO, PPC specialists) 

• Tech-literate: You’re comfortable managing digital platforms, payments, and comms tools. Experience with Howspace is an advantage.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Strong leadership background across digital, data or technology, ideally within a small, innovative organisation. This does not have to be at a senior level but evidenced in your application by mentoring/influencing and bringing people together.
• Credible technical knowledge and up to date understanding of developments in technology.
• Deep experience of working effectively with other professions and leaders as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
• Experience of service design in a charity, public sector or service delivery organisation.
• Demonstrable experience of developing DDaT teams, and of developing digital and data capabilities across an organisation, ideally in a charity or public-service context.
• A track record of improving data maturity and operational use of data and insight.
