At Blood Cancer UK, we’re support and campaign for everyone affected by blood cancer. Our digital support services help people feel informed, connected, and supported, no matter where they live in the UK. 

As Digital Support Services Officer, you’ll help ensure that people affected by blood cancer can access reliable information and peer support through a range of digital platforms. You’ll lead the day-to-day running of our online community forum, support and coordinate volunteers, and work across teams to help develop and improve our support offer. You’ll use data and insights to enable us to reach more people and provide the best possible support.

You’ll be confident in digital environments and committed to making support accessible and inclusive. You will have experience in online communities, peer support or other digital support services and be comfortable engaging with people who may be going through challenging times. You’re also a team player who’s effective in  working across departments and supporting volunteers. 

Expected travel for this role is: 1-2 times per month and attending team away days plus two organisational away days a year.

Respect is seeking one Helpline Advisor to provide support to male victims of domestic abuse on the Men’s Advice Line and perpetrators of domestic abuse on the Respect Phoneline.

You will support service users by phone, email and webchat, providing emotional support, practical advice, information on the available options, and signposting to other services. As well as work with male victims and perpetrators of domestic abuse in ways that support them to increase safety and reduce harm, as described in the Models of Work and relevant policies and procedures.

St Martin-in-the-Fields Charity (SMITFC) is looking for a strategic, relationship-driven Trusts and Foundations Manager to help shape the future of our income generation from charitable trusts and foundations. This is a pivotal role within our Philanthropy, Trusts and Foundations Team, working to ensure that we not only maintain but significantly grow our sustainable income streams in support of people experiencing homelessness and extreme vulnerability.

Working alongside the Philanthropy Manager and Prospect Researcher, this role will be responsible for identifying and securing new 5-6 figure+ gifts, maintaining and deepening engagement with our existing funding partners and developing a pipeline of future funding opportunities designed to spread risk and build for a reliable, realistic income growth over time.

Key Responsibilities

 The successful candidate will:

• Work with the Head of Philanthropy, Trusts and Foundations (P&TF) to develop the Charity’s Trust and Foundations growth strategy ensuring it maximises sustainable net income from both general and restricted Trust and Foundation funding sources, diversifies income and starts to spread income timelines away from a reliance on our Christmas appeal period.
• Work collaboratively across the charity to acquire an excellent knowledge and understanding of SMITFC values and programmes, to inform the creation of bespoke donor materials, cases for support, funding proposals and reports.
• Lead on the creation and submission of bespoke proposals and reports to existing Trusts and Foundations, maintaining accurate development and submission deadlines and excellent records of progress and outcomes on CRM.
• Lead on the cultivation and maintenance of strong relationships with existing funders and trustees, identifying opportunities for key decision makers to become active and engaged in the Charity’s activities, whilst gaining a greater understanding of a project’s long term aims and consequent impact.
• Work in collaboration with the Prospect Researcher to develop a pipeline of new 5-6 figure + Trusts and Foundations prospects able to give within the next 3 years.
• Lead on the bespoke stewardship and engagement of newly identified 5-6 figure + Trusts and Foundations prospects and ensure that submission deadlines are met, and reporting schedules observed.
• Work with the P&TF team to deliver our annual Christmas Appeal – to include the development of the P&TF Christmas Appeal 2025, deliver the annual Christmas Appeal Launch event, and optimize the use of social medial and other platforms to reach potential new funders over the Christmas period and beyond.
• Work with the P&TF team to develop the high value offering for the 100 Anniversary appeal 2026.
• Ensure that resources and budgets are managed effectively and provide Trust and Foundation fundraising financial information as required by the Head of P&TF – including contributing to income risk assessments, identifying gaps or shifts in funding and support contingency planning with the wider P&TF team.
• Ensure accurate records of funding opportunities, donor contact details and prospect research are maintained across CRM and finance systems.
• Work collaboratively with SMITF partner charities to align stewardship, donor asks and maximise income.

Experience and Skills

We are looking for someone who has:

• A positive, collaborative, creative mindset, who likes working as a part of high functioning team and enjoys building relationships across an organisation whilst having the confidence and autonomy to drive things forward and advocate for doing things differently.
• A strong record of securing and managing major Trust and Foundation partnerships, including six-figure grants.

The Role

Role Purpose

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and motivated individual to join us in this newly created HR and Governance role at Dialogue Earth. We are seeking an organised and proactive person to provide day-to-day support across both functions, with around 70% of the role focused on HR. The HR and governance officer will lead and manage the organisation’s human resources, governance, and compliance functions. They will ensure that HR function and practices are fair, legally compliant, and aligned with organisational values, and will support the Board of Trustees in fulfilling their governance responsibilities. This role combines operational HR management with oversight of governance processes, supporting a positive, inclusive, and legally compliant working environment.

Main Responsibilities

Human Resources:

● Coordinate recruitment processes, including drafting job descriptions and contracts, applicant screening, supporting interviews and collecting references;
● Manage staff onboarding processes and induction material;
● Maintain and update HR policies, the staff handbook, and training records in consultation with the COO;
● Manage the HR system (Natural HR or equivalent) and ensure records are accurate and up to date;

RABI supports farming people across England, Wales and NI with expert, one-to-one practical, financial and emotional help, all year round. From confidential advice and mental health support to direct financial assistance, their tailored services respond to the unique challenges of farming life.

Key Purpose:

To work as part of a team that provide high quality casework and grant applications to farming people that come to RABI for support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high quality information, advice and guidance in an empathetic and professional manner.
• Conduct a holistic needs assessment for each service user according to their individual circumstances.
• Manage a caseload of beneficiaries working with each service user to establish the most appropriate sources of support and agree an action/support plan with them.
• Collation of evidence for grants applications, checking that essential criteria have been met and progressing applications to the next stage of RABI’s internal grants process.
• Provide a face-to-face service when there is an over-riding need to do so by visiting service users.
• Collaborate with other agencies/service providers who can offer additional support options.
• Liaise with partners, ensuring that agreed actions are followed up.
• Log and communicate details of cases in a timely and accurate manner to ensure that records are up to date and the wider team has the information they need to provide support.
• Explore, assess and escalate any safeguarding concerns according to the RABI safeguarding policy.
• Contribute constructively to the development of the Service Delivery team and function, for the benefit of service users.
• Work constructively and collaboratively to solve problems with the support of colleagues.
• Be an ambassador for Service Delivery internally within RABI and with external organisations.

Person Specification:

Essential

• Fluent Welsh language speaker.
• Experience providing services to vulnerable service users, listening and supporting in a non-judgemental way.
• Knowledge and insight into state benefits and complementary support services (whether national/local/statutory agencies.)
• Strong ability to manage a diverse caseload effectively, prioritising competing demands to include keeping excellent case records.
• Excellent communication skills, being able to establish rapport and build trust quickly.
• The ability to build a practical plan alongside a service user and adapt approach to different circumstances and personalities.
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities, particularly in complex situations
• Knowledge of data protection principles and how to apply them.

Chapter One is a dynamic, growing charity with a vision of a world in which all children have the literacy skills needed to thrive. Our mission is to close the reading gap by providing children with one-to-one support at the time they need it most. 

Our unique Online Reading Volunteer programme currently supports over 3,200 children a year. It pairs disadvantaged, struggling five to eight-year old (KS1) readers with reading support volunteers who come from over 160 local and national businesses. The volunteer ask is very focused: readers commit 30 minutes a week to read with a child using a bespoke digital platform for an entire academic year. About the Role

The Finance Assistant has responsibility for a variety of finance functions including the purchase and sales ledger, making payments to suppliers, invoicing Corporate Partners and Schools and reconciling bank accounts. They support the day to day running of the Finance Team ensuring that tasks such as posting invoices, reconciling customer accounts, supporting credit control and chasing non-payments are carried out in a timely and accurate fashion. 

The Finance Assistant reports to and works closely with the Head of Finance and plays a critical role in resolving finance queries from Chapter One colleagues, maintaining accurate financial records, supporting internal processes and contributing to the effective financial management of Chapter One. 

This role is ideal for someone who has experience in a similar position within a finance team and has good working knowledge of accounting principles and a basic understanding of income for charities. They will work remotely and will need to have access to a reliable internet connection. This role is subject to an Enhanced DBS check, and the post-holder must be permanently based in the UK at the time of applying and for the duration of their employment.

All Chapter One employees are required to attend quarterly in-person staff meetings held in various locations across the UK (all expenses covered) as well as monthly all staff virtual meetings which are held on the first Wednesday of each month from 12:00 - 13:00; participation is mandatory.
