About the role
As Crisis’ Creative Lead, you are our most senior creative. You will lead the development of impactful concepts and content that meet our ambitious strategy and ultimately, support Crisis to end homelessness.
You’ll lead our creative studio to develop high-impact campaigns and content, based on audience insight and fresh creative ideas. Collaborating with many teams and departments throughout Crisis, you will champion inclusion and engagement with experts by experience on powerful storytelling techniques through multichannel design and video production.

Emmaus Overview
Emmaus is a community that provides accommodation and work for vulnerable people. We are committed to providing support while promoting independence. Staff and volunteers must work closely with Companions while observing appropriate professional boundaries in performing their role. They must also learn and engage with the Emmaus ethos.
The key task for this role is to manage a caseload of up to 16 Companions and to ensure that new companions get the information and support they need to help them settle in quickly and easily to the community and to working in our charity shops, warehouse and delivery / collection service. The support worker role is central to the team and close teamwork is essential.
The support worker will undertake direct support work with companions. Each companion has a personal support and development plan to help them achieve their personal goals and ambitions, in compliance with our Emmaus ethos, strategic aims, organisational objectives, policies and procedures.
Staff are expected to participate in and support solidarity activities undertaken by the Community. Main duties and responsibilities
Support for Companions
- Support a caseload of companions to reach their potential through both practical and emotional support.
- Tailor support plans to meet individual needs – setting goals, assigning actions and taking a holistic view of the person and their wishes.
- Guide induction and exit processes for companions – to ensure that they understand the core principles of the offer at Emmaus and move on to long term, sustainable accommodation after us.Use de-escalation techniques to manage challenging behaviour as it arises, with consideration to positive conflict resolution.Support with incident response, including responding to risk, e.g. anti-social behaviour, mental health concerns, fire alarms etc.
- Liaise with external providers (CMHT, GP, DWP, hospitals, probation, prisons, CAB etc) to ensure that specialist advice and guidance is sought where needed.
Administrative duties
- Maintain accurate records in line with internal policy and with consideration for GDPR principles.
- Perform tasks to support the effective running of the community.
- Contact external providers to make them aware of who we are and what we do to drive referrals.
- Provide written updates for key stakeholders and internal meetings.
- Provide structured support for companions as agreed in the support plan.
- Participate in an emergency on-call rota to ensure 24/7 support is available for companions where needed.

About the team
The Business Development team (BDT) is the support function that leads, coordinates and supports Shelter business areas working to develop new and existing services to meet Shelter’s strategic goals.

Overall Purpose of the Role
The Finance Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring that Emmaus Hertfordshire maintains accurate, timely and compliant financial information in support of its charitable and social enterprise activities.
You will work closely with the Operations & Finance Manager, Trustees, Chief Executive, staff, companions, and external partners to provide clear financial reporting, strong financial controls, and expert guidance that supports good decision-making across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Controls
- Maintain effective financial control over all revenue, expenditure, and cash handling across the community.
- Prepare spreadsheets for monthly payroll and pension contributions.
- Support the Finance Manager, Chief Executive and Treasurer in preparing, setting and creating the annual budget.
- Maintain companion rent accounts, Housing benefit and Gift Aid applications.

Our client is a small, independent housing association providing general and supported housing for single homeless people across London. Their mission is to provide housing and skills development to people in need, providing a safe space in which they can attain independence. As interim Head of Housing Services, you will provide inspiring leadership to your housing operations team, supporting staff to achieve tangible social impact and/or recovery outcomes in line with the organisation’s mission and with funder’s contractual obligations. About the Role

About You
Experience and Knowledge
- Relevant qualification in playwork, youth work, early years, or a related field (Level 3 or above) or equivalent.

We are a small, dynamic, and enterprising not-for-profit. Our services comprise free, independent property guidance and support; affordable consultancy; plus online property education. Funding comes from philanthropic donations, grants, corporate partnerships and earned income from affordable consultancy. We employ four part-time employees: the CEO, Head of Property Services, Operations Manager, and Administrator - 2.45FTE, supported by a further nine self-employed Associates and Volunteers of whom eight are chartered surveyors. JOB DESCRIPTION
The Head of Property Advisory is the lead member of the Property Advice Team comprising Associate Property Advisors. The team is supported by The Foundation’s Register of Property Professionals. The Property Advice Team provides advice, consultancy and educational services. This service is delivered by providing on-line information, free helpdesk guidance, training events and consultancy projects to assist organisations in making informed property decisions. The Head of Property Services will have the following key areas of activity and responsibility:
1. Developing the Affordable Consultancy
The Head of Property Services leads on all aspects of building our affordable consultancy and delivers sales income in line with agreed targets. This will include:
· Identifying potential clients and proactively seeking opportunities to bid for work.
· Responding to enquiries from potential clients, conducting initial meetings to ascertain support required and putting together carefully priced proposals tailored to client needs.
· Developing and maintaining relationships with key partners, including Lloyds Bank Foundation.
· Tracking of enquiries and work in progress with support from the Operations Manager; ensuring accurate records are maintained and providing information and reports to the CEO and Trustees for invoicing and fundraising purposes.
· Developing new products for the charity sector, making the EPF relevant and providing new and growing income streams.
· Ensuring EPF communication channels appropriately promote our services.
2. Management of Property Advice Team
The Head of Property Services directly line-manages the Associates in delivery of the Affordable Consultancy:
· Developing and maintaining appropriate processes and templates for development and delivery of work. Disseminating as necessary and ensuring processes followed by team members.
· Oversight of all support, advice and training provided by the team to ensure consistent high levels of content quality and customer care are maintained.
· Oversight of the free Property Advice Service, co-ordinating with the Property Advisors running the service and responding to enquires who may require affordable consultancy services.
· Ensuring consultancy projects are allocated to team members with appropriate knowledge, experiences and availability.
· Developing excellent working relationships with members of our Register of Property Professionals to introduce charities for effective support.
· Delivering excellent customer care by coordinating the Foundation’s support to charities until their project is resolved.
· Supporting the team to ensure property materials for training and online guidance are accurate and appropriate.
3. Additional duties may include:
· Representing the Foundation and presenting at external events.
· Working proactively to ensure that the Property Advice Team remains up to date with property and charity sector knowledge.

You work effectively both independently and as part of a team, with the ability to support and induct new peer staff and volunteers. You are flexible and able to work early, late, weekend, and bank holiday shifts to meet 24-hour service needs.

The Role

About the Role
As a Housing and Support Assistant, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality housing and support services to our residents. You will often be the first point of contact for residents and visitors, responding to a wide range of enquiries and offering clear, holistic, and informed guidance.
This role is wonderfully varied, combining customer service, reception duties, safety responsibilities, and building support. Whether welcoming new residents, assisting Health & Wellbeing members, or responding compassionately to concerns, you will be a key representative of YMCA St Paul’s Group throughout the night.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver Outstanding Customer Service
Be the warm, reassuring presence that sets the tone for a positive resident experience. Your professionalism and empathy will leave a lasting impression on our residents and their support network.
Versatility at Its Best
No two shifts will be the same. Alongside reception responsibilities—such as managing telephone services, handling mail, overseeing repairs, and processing payments—you will support the smooth operation of the building and contribute to a safe, welcoming environment.
Safety and Security
As the designated first aider and fire marshal, you’ll play a vital role in safeguarding residents during emergencies. Your routine wellbeing checks, patrols, and facilities inspections will help uphold a safe and comfortable environment for all.
Welcoming and Listening
As the first point of contact, you may welcome new residents, respond to complaints, handle reports of anti-social behaviour, and provide a compassionate, attentive ear. Your ability to identify, escalate, and report concerns appropriately will be essential.
