The role
Relief International is looking for an operational Global Human Resources Director to lead our global HR function. The Suzy Lamplugh Trust was born out of the tragic story of Suzy Lamplugh, a 25-year-old estate agent who went missing whilst at work in 1986, was never found, and was eventually declared deceased in 1993. • Support the delivery and evaluation of national campaigns on workplace safety as well as stalking, harassment and other priority areas.

• Maintain effective relationships with civil servants, policy makers, national and local decision makers, and other campaigning bodies and build relevant networks of stakeholders.

• Proactively keep abreast of issues within the post-holder’s own portfolio, general criminal justice, personal safety and Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG) policy developments and up to date campaigning techniques.

ABOUT THE ROLE 

The Policy and Campaigns Officer is responsible for supporting on Suzy Lamplugh Trust’s policy and campaigning work relating to reducing harassment, violence and aggression in society by addressing these issues at their root cause, working with employers to improve personal safety culture within organisations and seeking to influence policy and legislative change where necessary. This role will also support campaigns that ensure that victims of stalking receive better support and protection.

Job Purpose:

The Fundraising Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing fundraising strategies to secure financial support for the organization.

Working with the Head of Communications and Marketing, you will support the development and delivery of Theatres Trust’s communications strategy and contribute to embedding our brand and tone of voice across all our communications. We are seeking an experienced Tax Accountant to join our Finance team, supporting the Head of Global Controllers and Deputy Financial Controller in ensuring charity tax compliance across the organisation. 
 
Key responsibilities would include:

• Preparation and submission of VAT and Corporation Tax returns
• Providing expert tax advice and design - Monitoring tax developments and advising teams and senior leaders on complex charity tax matters
• Maintaining and reviewing tax processes and systems

You will be a Chartered Tax Advisor or a qualified accountant with experience of partial exemption and reverse charge VAT and of providing tax advice in the charity sector.

The Lead CRM Engineer is responsible for taking a leading role in the CRM engineering capability team to identify and share good practice, develop standards, patterns, automation & tools, reduce technical debt and operational risks.

What will I be doing?

• Lead in all aspects of the software development life cycle e.g., requirements, analysis, design, implementation, testing and documentation
• Apply Lean and Agile principles to develop high quality code that has minimal bugs, adheres to CRUK standards and is highly supportable
• Work either independently or in collaboration with Solution Architects to design new solutions in line with the CRM Engineering strategy
• Start the development of new products from scratch, leading on all the technical decisions this entails
• Work in collaboration with Product Managers, Service Designers, UX Designers, Business Analysts etc to identify user needs, discuss capabilities and iteratively design solutions
• Take a leading role in the CRM engineering capability team to identify and share good practice, develop standards, patterns, automation & tools, and reduce technical debt and operational risks
• Design and develop enhancements to our CRM platform, supporting the delivery of our CRM Engineering strategy; applying specialist knowledge to identify improvements
• Apply Site Reliability Engineering principles to track and improve the availability, performance, and security of CRM products. Support the resolution of incidents impacting our products.
• Responsible for release management and line management of 2-5 CRM engineers, coaching them to develop their skills, behaviours and develop their careers.

What are you looking for?

Essential:

• Ability to write clean, readable, and properly tested code based on tried and tested design patterns.
• Experience building applications on our existing CRM platform (Siebel) and/or future CRM (Salesforce), including data model design, custom UIs, custom logic, inbound and outbound integration logic
• Experience running critical services in production and designing highly available, scalable, and secure solutions
• Acted as a Senior or Lead within an Engineering team, starting the development of new features from scratch, defining the overall solutions, and reviewing more junior engineers' work.'

Desirable:

• Understands business problems and able to translate them into solution designs using creativity and pragmatism.
• Knowledge of modern software development methods (SCRUM, Kanban) and approaches (test-driven development, behaviour driven development, continuous integration, continuous delivery)
• Can communicate complex information and concepts to technical and business colleagues, influencing others effectively
• Worked in a complex technical environment with multiple types of business operations and conflicting priorities
• Able to cope with continual change and contribute constructively to improvement cycles

We're looking for an LGBTQ+ drug and alcohol recovery worker to jin our Antidote drug and alcohol service.

London Friend’s Antidote service provides high quality drug & alcohol psycho-social treatment and support to LGBTQ+ people utilising harm reduction & abstinence-based methods.  Antidote is a part of London Friend which aims to support and promote health & wellbeing for LGBTQ+ people living in the London area.

We are working in partnership delivering substance misuse treatment and support in the London Boroughs of the City of London and Hackney. This is led by Turning Point, and in partnership with Mind in the City, Hackney, and Waltham Forest. London Friend is the LGBTQ+ lead for the partnership.

Recovery support workers provide support to LGBTQ+ people experiencing difficulties with drug or alcohol use, including supporting those engaged in chemsex, and incorporating HIV prevention initiatives and sexual health support. They will hold a caseload of clients and be responsible for their assessment, case planning, review, and ongoing care. They will deliver group programmes and provide outreach to LGBTQ+ people in community settings including local sexual health clinics.

The postholder will be employed by London Friend and work within a multi-agency team based in the two Boroughs and local satellite locations including sexual health services. They will also assist with the delivery of Antidote’s services, including our walk-in clinics and group programmes, with a priority on identifying and supporting residents of the City of London and Hackney.

The post-holder will take an active anti-discriminatory, anti-racism and trans-inclusive approach around all areas of work and will be an active member of both London Friend and the City and Hackney Recovery Partnership and will support with the aims & objectives of both services.

Due to the nature of the work and in order to provide appropriate access for the clients group the role requires regular evening work and occasional weekend working.
