We are looking for a Challenge Events Fundraiser to join our national Regional Fundraising Team.

Arrangement of hours can be flexible and agreed with the successful candidate.

About the role

As a Challenge Events Fundraiser, you will support the Regional Fundraising Team to build a successful programme of challenge events that will raise funds and positively promote the Charity. 

This role will focus on a portfolio of mass participation and challenge events, as well as supporting national campaigns and community events delivered by programme scheduling, resource management, event marketing, participant recruitment and stewardship, financial reporting, database management and event evaluation.

You will produce and maintain the events calendar, research and recommend new events and work with our Supporter Care team to ensure support materials are provided as appropriate. You will ensure event performance, supporter engagement and income are recorded tracked and fed back to the Fundraising team.

You will ensure events are marketed and celebrated via established charity platforms, and participant numbers and income are increased through promotion to new and previous supporters. 

You will support participants through their journey, creating a memorable experience and positive impression of the charity, and will attend some events in person. 

Previous experience of event planning, participant recruitment and sponsor stewardship would be an asset to the successful candidate, who will also need experience of working with a CRM database and be competent at interpreting financial information and reports.

This role is subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service check.

You will need a good understanding of the events fundraising sector, it’s relevant law, procedures and techniques. 

You will be able to demonstrate an ability to research, plan and support a programme of events on a national scale and prioritise your workload to meet deadlines and KPIs agreed with your line manager.

This is one of two District Property Secretary roles in North West England Methodist District, who will be the first point of contact on all matters relating to property. Using their knowledge of land and buildings, and their use and maintenance, in addition to knowledge of governance in the Methodist church context, the postholders will ensure a coherent and holistic approach to property across the District. 

Key Responsibilities 

Provide advice to churches and circuits on property-related matters

Work with colleagues, including ministers and lay members of the circuits and churches within the District, to maximise utilisation of property and land across the District for mission and income generation, in line with Connexional property strategy

- Collaborate with colleagues on seeking alternative opportunities for mission or income generation

Provide support with the instruction of professional advisors and contractors and liaise with surveyors as necessary

Support the management of the consents process

- Advise the consent giving body of the District regarding property projects and the feasibility of District grants

- Provide support on the use of the online consents system

To assist in the development and continual review of the District Development Plan for property

This is an exciting opportunity to work with stroke survivors and their families to support them following a stroke.

Position: S11325 Stroke Support Coordinator

The Role

The service aims to identify and address the needs of stroke survivors and carers across the stroke pathway, by providing a range of innovative support solutions, supporting them to meet their desired outcomes.

A key part of the role will be to recruit, train and manage a team of volunteers, to support service users and the delivery of the service.

You’ll work with people across Oak to help them to track, measure and understand the impact of their work using data analysis, data visualisation, and communication skills.

This is a hands-on role with opportunities to work across the data life-cycle, from data collection, cleaning and transformation, analysis, and presentation. You'll have the opportunity to hone both your technical and interpersonal skills in the exciting Ed-Tech field.

�� What You’ll Be Doing

• Provides support for ensuring data and analytics drive knowledge, insights and shared context for the organisation.

• Drives the continuous improvement and quality of Oak’s insight generation tools, ensuring the organisation is supported to draw insight from Oak’s data.

• Produce and maintain high-quality visualisations that support both internal and third party educational research and insights.

�� What We’re Looking For

• Demonstrable experience and understanding of conducting data analysis, generating insights and visualising data.

• Comfortable working with stakeholders from non-analytical backgrounds, gathering requirements, and translating them into structured analytical questions and approaches.

• Highly data literate with a good working knowledge of data types, the use of basic descriptive statistics (e.g. mean, standard deviation), and how to use data visualisation tools and techniques effectively to communicate insight.

• Ability to logically structure approaches to data transformation and analysis (e.g. sequentially / modularly) coupled with a strong understanding of how analytical programming languages (e.g. SQL, Python, R etc) can be used to support this..

• You will be comfortable working at pace, with a range of digital systems (including proprietary ones as required) and you will continuously look at ways that the team can keep getting better. You will be excellent at working as part of a remote team, building relationships and managing your time effectively.

About the role

The HR Business Delivery Partner will  play a key role in delivering proactive, people-focused HR support across the employee lifecycle—partnering with managers to embed best practice, drive organisational performance, and ensure compliance.

The role also leads on learning and development, HR systems, data insights, and line management of the HR Administrator.

About you

You are a confident and collaborative HR professional with a CIPD Level 5 qualification (or equivalent experience) and a strong working knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice. You bring proven experience of partnering with managers across complex organisations to deliver people-centred, pragmatic HR solutions that support both operational needs and organisational culture.

You are adept at guiding and coaching line managers through all stages of the employee lifecycle, including handling employee relations matters such as disciplinary and grievance processes. Your approach to problem-solving is proactive, people-focused, and grounded in sound judgement.

You have experience developing and reviewing HR policies, procedures, and supporting documentation, and are comfortable administering HR systems and using Excel to interpret data and inform decision-making

Job Title: Birmingham Project Officer

Salary: £28,000

Position Type: Full time / Fixed term (12 months)

Reports to: Scaling Manager

Based at: Remote, with travel to schools in Birmingham

Working Hours: 5 days a week, 9am-5pm (flexible)

Pension: School Food Matters pays pension contributions at 7% of pensionable earnings

Holiday: 31 days including bank holidays that fall on working days. Holidays must be taken during the school holidays

This role requires occasional work outside of core hours (for example, if visiting a school breakfast club). It also requires travel to schools across Birmingham, so access to a car would be desirable. We want a school food system that delivers for all children, so they can enjoy nutritious, delicious and sustainable school food and leave school with an informed and positive relationship with food. To achieve this, we campaign for a better school food system, bringing the voices of children, parents, and teachers to government policy, and deliver fully funded food education programmes in schools across the country.

Background to Nourish

Our Nourish programme supports schools to create a food environment that puts children and young people's nutrition first. The evidence-based, multi-component programme helps schools to develop action plans and policies to cover the food served across the whole school day. Nourish uses a collaborative whole school approach to food involving everyone across the school community to create lasting positive change.

Job purpose

· To deliver Nourish in 6-8 schools in Birmingham (primary, secondary and SEND settings)

Key tasks include

· Support with recruitment of schools to take part in Nourish

· Complete in person food audits in schools looking across the whole school day

· Support schools to create and deliver a food improvement plan (action plan)

· Develop and deliver workshops in schools to staff, parents and students based on their action plan (e.g. assemblies, cooking sessions, school food standards training, packed lunch advice, food ed/sensory tasting sessions)

· Support schools to write a school food policy

· Build relationships and work closely with teachers, teaching assistants, chefs, kitchen teams and senior leaders in schools to improve the food on offer to students

· Collect data and maintain accurate records relating to the project

· Work closely with our Evaluation team to complete all monitoring and evaluation

· Work in collaboration with other Birmingham school food partners

· Share learnings with other SFM regional Project Officers

· Gather content for our Comms team (website and social media platforms)

· Keep Scaling Manager fully updated on progress

· Keep up to date with safeguarding requirements and reporting procedures

· Maintaining the ethos of the charity and positively promoting our work at all times

Essential

· Registered nutritionist or advanced understanding of nutritional guidelines and health promotion

This is a fundamental role within our South East regional team, internally the role is known as Local Community Officer.

The future of CCT’s outstanding collection of historic churches depends on communities supporting their local CCT church with funds, events, inspiring interpretation, visitor services and preventive conservation. The Local Community Officer will engage and support communities and volunteers to care for 26 historic churches across Northamptonshire, West Norfolk, and parts of North Bedfordshire and Western Cambridgeshire, including areas around Northampton, Bedford, Huntingdon, and King’s Lynn.
